We've been twice for dinner on Friday nights. It's busy but not packed. We always got a table right away arriving around 7pm. The service is excellent. Everyone is friendly and helpful. On our first visit, we sat outside and as my wife sat, she dropped her napkin on the floor. Without us even asking, a manager who was setting up the table next to us told my wife he'd get her a new napkin. The food can be good to great. My wife had the Fresno Fig Burger on her first visit with truffle fries and loved it. It was very decadent and delicious. Our son had a kid's grilled cheese which was one of the best restaurant grilled cheese sandwiches I've seen. Also great. The handcut fries that came with it were great as well. Now for the good but not great. I have had the fish tacos on the appetizer menu which lacked flavor. Also had the grilled chicken sandwich on my last visit with avocado and aioli. Also lacked flavor. They weren't bad--they were well cooked and presented but I think some salt or other spices would elevate them from blandness. My wife had the fried chicken sliders on her last visit, but the buttermilk biscuits they came on tasted like they had been frozen and crumbled quickly. My wife had to resort to a fork and knife to finish her meal. So, none of the food we've ever had was bad, it's just some of it was a bit bland. The space itself is quite nice, though a tad loud, and 40 beers on tap should keep most people happy. I chalk it up to being a new restaurant that needs to work out the kinks, so we'll give it another try in a month or so.

As a new restaurant, the service is slow, but the food is exceptionally good. I really like the design of the restaurant and the creativity of writing on the walls with the chalk. It's definately a restaurant I would go back to again, but not anytime soon.

The first time I went there was up north by Cal university, we enjoyed it so much that when we got home we went to the new location in Bella Terra. The place has great burgers and a good selection of beer and whiskey. The fries aren't as good as the north location but still good. We also had the chicken fried sliders and we all enjoyed them. The servers were attentive and had a decent knowledge of the tap selections. Over all it was a nice experience and will be on our "go back list". I recommend it. P.S. The bruschetta has goat cheese and in our opinion were pretty bad.

Came here on a Saturday night and it was really empty. The restaurant has a fun vibe but the service was really poor. Considering we were basically the only customers here, it took forever just to get our drinks. And then even longer to get the food. They have a large selection of beer and a good menu (the burger was pretty good). I really hope the service here improves...definitely a let down.

This is a Bourbon/Whiskey Bar-- and a full Craft beer Gastropub! What a great addition to Bella Terra. Hoppy Hour is THE best. Local craft beer is epic! Brews on tap, in flights and bottled. Had the Rib tips appetizer. OMG Deliciousness. The burgers are spot on too. No filler, no grizzle. My new favorite burger joint close to home. The cocktails rock, the food is rage'n, the service is great, the vibe is fantastic, decor is hip, the music is jive'n.

First time here I went for drinks. However, my group of friends ordered the truffle fries and the corn dogs. We later ended up ordering 4 orders of truffle fries because that's how good it was! The environment was fun, good for hanging out.

Amazing beer and whisky! Burgers are bomb! I tried the chicken saltimboca.. Not great but everything else makes up for it!! Kyle is the best server on the planet!! Sit in his section!

This restaurant had to grow on me but I can honestly say it's gotten a lot better since they opened the food is great but the drinks are to die for get the margarita!

We dined here last week, wasn't impressed. Maybe we came at a bad time? I have no clue. But one thing, there's tons of gnats and flies everywhere. And don't you tell me because you have an open air concept. I just dined next door at Solita with the same open air concept and we didn't have a single bug anywhere! It was like we were camping with gnats and flies all around us while eating campfire food. I really wanted to like this place, but cannot get beyond the bug problem. Usually that means there's another problem. Backed up sewage or maybe trash left out in the back or something, I don't know. Just keep that in mind. If you can deal with bugs, then you may think that the food is average. FYI they have multiple locations in So Cal. Just look up the name. Hope they fix the bug problems... Take care!

This is one of my favorite places to go for dinner. Thankfully, it is walking distance from my house so I can have a few drinks without driving. Some of my favorites are the watermelon salad, fig burger, and truffle fries. I did not like the beet salad! Beers are great and love the ambiance. So glad that Eureka came to the neighborhood!

My boyfriend and I were in the area and found this on Yelp. It only had 3.5 stars (about a week ago) but everything looked good online so we figured why not give it a try. Glad we did! We both got burgers, and they were both very good. Also in agreement, we think that the burger meat could have had a little more seasoning but other than that it was very good. Great choice of beers, and they even had many options of Pappy van Winkle--my boyfriend's favorite! That bourbon is extremely hard to find, so he was quite happy! On another note, I loved the decor--a bit rustic and industrial with some modern thrown in. Very cool vibe. We would definitely go back here if we are in the area again.

Two stars for whiskey and beer selection. The burgers are good not great. We started with the wings in the chili sauce. The sauce was good. But the wings are small for what you are paying. The dressing here is extremely watered down. Truffle fries could have been a lot better. The fries were soggy and limp. No crisp to them at all. No onions on them either? The truffle flavor is there. But they are lacking in the taste category. I had the original Eureka burger. It was cooked well and the taste was good. Nothing memorable. Just a decent burger. Wife and sister had the BBQ burger. Same thing, nothing memorable here. In a town with a lot of choices for burgers I would not recommend this place for them. The patty looked to be 1/3lb maybe a 1/4. But not worth 10 dollars at all. The onion rings were good. Thick, very thick. Now for the WTF part. Our server was terrible. For being open for a couple weeks I can understand and be forgiving for some things. But our servers disappeared for at least 10 minutes and no one came by our table. There was a bunch of people working. They would look and see the 2 glasses sitting at the end of the table and just walk by? The manager, (wearing a blazer?) walked to tables and just avoided us all together? But he did have time to show some pics to a server on his phone right next to where we were seated for quite some time. I went to the bar to get myself a beer because when my first beer was finished I wanted another one. Our server just didnt get it. I t was a little loud with the acoustic guitar musician plugged in and loud. The bar has a nice feel. I think they could be better. But they are not there yet. The whiskey selection is great. (love the pappy and the ice cube!) The beer selection is good. Food wasnt worth the money. Maybe it will get better?

Eureka rocks!!! U can't BEAT the veggie BEET burger. Great service and food. Manager Bunny is all about service. She made sure that we were satisfied when we had a small concern. She gave us a BIG discount, though we insisted to pay full.... She insisted on the DISCOUNT. We had 3 beet burgers, Eureka Burger and chicken Quesadilla. We're coming back for sure. Bunny is a top notch manager.

We are FANS! They were SO sweet to my daughter (which hey, if anyone who hooks up my daughter with her favorite, avocados is #1 for me!~) and helpful with our selection of drinks and food. I wouldn't get the side salad again but we loved the atmosphere, drink selection, and staff. I ordered the standard burger while my husband ordered the one with jalepenos with a side of wings. My daughter loved the wings, we feed her dark meat to get some meat on her bones and she really enjoyed them. Definitely modern meets contemporary. Will definitely be back!

An over stylized and trendy burger joint that lacks good food. This place is a new restaurant and has lots of bugs to work out. We ordered wings and burgers. The chicken was cold as if they had them previously fried and had kept them in the fridge. We asked for a new set of wings and the waiter graciously obliged. While we were waiting, the table across from us had asked the server to take her burger back because the inside was raw (like ODB Shimmy Shimmy Ya raw). My wife's old fashioned drink was nice and strong, so she was content while waiting for our new wings. They arrived within 5-10 minutes after the second order was placed and the flavor was okay, but the ranch dipping sauce was watered down and the carrots and celery were cut skinnier than the Olsen twins. I ordered the jalepeño burger sans the bread and my wife had the cowboy burger. The meat was flavorless and lacked any seasoning. Even Mrs. Dash would've been pissed. The jalepeños weren't spicy at all, so I'm not sure why it's advertised as something with kick (even the waiter mentioned he thought it could use heat). The fries were oily and undercooked. If you want to come to this place, only come for the bar and ambiance until they can figure out how to cook and season their food correctly. When we left, the manager was being yelled at by another patron (typical surfer bro) that had terrible food and was overcharged. I didn't see him eating, so not sure what the deal was. Anywho, not worth it for dinner or lunch. Islands is in the same parking lot....just sayyyiiinnnnn.....and you'd get a better burger there.

I want to give this place a 3.5. My bf and I have been meaning to try this place at there other location but it was way too far (the line was always crazy). The ambience is dark and filled with live music (very loud) this can be an issue for some. There is outdoor seating and complimentary valet. We ordered the corn dog lollipops. How can we not? It just sounded so fun. They were exactly what it sounded like, identical to the shape of a cake pop. Nothing too special about the taste. Came with ketchup and mustard. I ordered the burger with fig and substituted with bison meat (much leaner and higher in protein). My burger was cooked the way I liked it but the overall taste was the 3.5 factor. What I really loved about the burger was the bun. And for a burger, I think the meat should be the star... In this case it wasn't. Can't compare it to Umami or G Burger because it offers something different. I didn't care for the fries, pretty standard. Service was attending and helpful with menu suggestions. Would come back. Need to try some beer next time.

I love their steamers! Their reverse hoppy hour is awesome too. They have so many good beers on tap and I love they stay open until 12. The service has always been pretty good. Live music on Thursday nights.

Not going to lie, this girl likes the heat! Slightly disappointed the jalepeno burger wasn't spicier but it definitely was still delicious! Service was great and the atmosphere was pleasant. Next time gunna go for the Fresno burger, seems to get the best reviews!

This place rocks!!! My boyfriend and I were in the area so we went in to grab some lunch after a little bit of shopping....great decision! The food was awesome and we really dug the vibe. I'm not really a beer drinker but my boyfriend was "in heaven" so he said. Our server Troy was amazing! He helped us a lot picking out what to drink, talking a whole different language with my boyfriend. We started with the truffle fries and nachos and holy cow the portion of truffle fries was definitely bigger than we thought! We ended up only sharing our burger since we were pretty full off the appetizers. We got the jalapeño egg burger just so we could try something new and it was delicious...totally hit the spot.. We will be returning!

It was our first time eating here. We arrived requested a booth if possible. The host explained they were pretty busy because they were short servers a few called out. At that moment I got a bit worried however we got a booth and a great server Troy. He asked if we'd been here before I said No he even suggested a good beer for me. Considering they were busy and short staff our food was timely and extremely good. I was impressed and will definitely return and bring friends. Truffle fries were yummy, fish taco super good and a great fresh taste, best sweet potatoe fries I've ever had. Great big flaky onion rings and chicken avacado sandwich was great too my boyfriend grubbed it. It's a must check out and I'm sure it would be fun at night for drinks. Better then my experience at Solita. Thanks for a great lunch I'll tell a friend.

Too good! Had the jalapeno egg burger..normally wouldn't eat something like that, but after our waitress recommended some great beers, we had to take her word for it. Thanks again Caitlin! We had other items off the appetizer menu and I gotta say...been a while since I've had wings that good. Great service and nice layout...we'll be back for sure!

Wonderful place! The staff was so nice (Carly and the manager, bunny) and the food was delicious! We have an 8 month old and when we say down they brought out avocado and watermelon for my little guy! We didn't even ask, and coming from a mom..... I feel like the was one of the nicest things anyone has done at a restaurant for us. My baby LOVED it. I had the Cobb salad and it was so good, my husband had the cowboy burger and that was great. We also had the corn dog lollipops and they were so tasty. We will be back!!!! Maybe for a date night!!!

The customer service was great and our hostess and server were very friendly. My boyfriend ordered the Cowboy Burger and I ordered the Fresno Fig Naked Burger it was reallllyyy good the arugula was tasty as well. My boyfriend and I are tough sweet potato fries critics but I think we have found the best sweet potato fries in the area! I love that the restaurant stays open until midnight. We had an unexpected late night at IKEA and this was the perfect place to go to. I will definitely be back.

What an outstanding establishment, not only was the food impeccable but the service was informative attentive and prompt, if your looking to have an excellent experience request to sit with Garrett (the ginger with a beard) he was funny and informative. Garrett wasn't the only one helping us put but Eric and Megan were very quick to assist us in anything we need. I had the riblets as an appetizer which seem to jump from the bone. napa burger which was out of this world juicy, and washed it all down with a lagunitas IPA which is one of my favorite single IPAs of all time. I think I'm gonna have to make this a regular spot.

Really great place for whiskey.. Rotating beer selection always really great .. "Steal the glass" Wednesday's. Went in this Wednesday (2-4) Our bartender was amazing.. We ordered the truffle fries with the sauce on the side.. An old fashioned, anchor steam CA lager and the "enjoy by" IPA. This was probably the best service we've had here .. Although it's never bad.

Service here was great! My friend and I had a guy who was training and he was awesome, made sure to get our orders in on time so we could make it for happy hour and was super attentive! Glad we came on a Wednesday, we got to keep our beer glasses!

First, I have to say this place made the absolute perfectly cooked medium burger that I have ever had. Warm, pink and juicy! I would go back just for that! Second, they have a great range of craft beers, which are my favorite. Third, we came on a Thursday, live band night. Althought they were pretty good, it was really loud and hard to talk during dinner. The only thing that made this a 4 rating instead of a 5 was the service. Pretty slow overall and didn't really have too much knowledge on thier beer selection. I realize that they change and add beers a lot, but when that's something you are known for, you gotta have your info down.

Happy hour here starts early!! 2 to 6 pm M-F. I like the corn dog lollipops and osso buco riblets. It is good... Have so many choices of beers on draft and bottle. Will definitely come back to happy hour since it is down the street from my house.

Drinks and service are decent. Appetizers are ok. Turkey burger is the worse I've ever purchased! Dry and over cooked. You know you will be chewing for hours when your fork will not cut through the meat.

  • Sandra S.

Service here is hit or miss, but the food is consistently good. I've tried quite a few of their menu items and thoroughly enjoyed everything. They also have a good Happy Hour menu that includes beer, wine and appetizers. As far as the appetizers I've had the Lollipop Corn Dogs, Shishito Peppers (loved), and Truffle Cheese Fries (these could have used a little more truffle cheese sauce), and enjoyed all of the flavors. Shishito Peppers are so under-rated and most people don't think of ordering them, but when grilled with lemon and garlic they pack a lot of flavor! Shishito Peppers need love too! My sister ordered the Fried Chicken Sliders, which were good too, but I typically don't like ordering sliders since there's too much bread to meat ratio. This goes for all sliders, not just these in particular, but overall the combo of flavors was good and the reaper chili sauce was a nice touch. Burgers: I really like The Original Eureka! because it's simple and the flavor of the meat is not overpowered with sauces and ingredients. If I'm in the mood for a more saucy burger, the Fresno Fig Burger is my go-to. It's really rich with the fig marmalade and it's definitely different (in a good way) than any other burger I've tried. The atmosphere here is really nice. This place doesn't look very big from the outside, but it's huge inside! There's plenty of tables and a lot of seating at the bar. They have tons of beers on tap; including specialty beers (which I believe are on rotation). They also have a pretty outdoor patio for dining. Overall I recommend Eureka! for food and drinks. Next time I go here I want to try the Bone Marrow Burger; it looks phenomenal!

I've been here three times now and each time has been excellent! They cooked my burger well done when I wanted rare, but it was an easy fix (just replace the patty or whatever and bring it out again). But they took the burger off the bill too! I felt bad actually, I tried to convince them to just give me the regular bill cause they did have to make another burger. I've tried 3 different burgers there and every one of them is amazing. My boyfriend's favorite is the fig burger and he only gets that. You just can't go wrong with choosing a burger there. I haven't tried their other entrees so I can't comment. Service is good and attentive and the decor is very classy.

Great place to just stop in at anytime for drinks and snacks. Not a fan of the main dishes for dinner, but all of the appetizers are amazing. Be sure to try the whiskey sampler too. Very unique brands with great taste! Wait can be sometimes long, but it's always worth it.

Tried again SO HARD to like this place but between waiting 30 minutes to have a waiter help, and to having to send my order back because they VASTLY overcooked my burger, I can't honestly give it 2 stars. Downgraded. Sorry, Eureka. I'm really trying to like you.

Few meals satisfy like the good ol' burger with fries. I was given a 15-20 minute wait time at 6:00 on Friday night. They give you a text when they're ready for you, so you can walk around the stores near by or just sit outside on the tables and chat. Way to be modern! The Fig Marmalade Burger was to die for. Eurkea's burgers do not disappoint! The sweetness of the marmalade was balanced by crispy bacon and peppery arugula. The bun was so light and fluffy, but toasted so it could hold the burger together. The meat was so juicy and tender, but still firm enough to not implode from its own awesomeness. I know this is obvious, but your meat should be cooked medium rare. Anything more is just a sin against red meat! What I loved about the burger was that it just melted in your mouth. Either that, or I just melted into a puddle of fat and happiness because it was so delicious. Each bite just melted together in perfect harmony, but you could still taste each component. They balanced savory with a hint of sweetness in a nicely done burger. The burger itself is on the smaller size, but not tiny. It's to be expected of a "gourmet" burger. The fries are also cut in a good size. Not too fat where it'll just taste like potato, but not too thin and you only tatste batter. My friend got the Cowboy Burger. I had a bite and it tasted decent. When I asked him to describe it, he could only muster, "smokey." He has boring, predictable taste buds that don't want to venture into anything too groundbreaking. So if you want something a step above a regular burger, but want to play it safe, this seems like a good option. It has the basics of a regular burger, but with some risk-free upgrades that give it a little edge, like shoestring onions and barbecue sauce. Tip for the ladies! If you want to look slightly less like you're a ravenous beast who's way too happy to dunk your face into that yummy burger when you're eating here on a date, per say, cut your burger in half! Not that it reallllyyy matters because beast mode=power, but just something to keep in mind if you're worried. It will drip less and less messy when eating. But you'll still look like the cool girl willing to eat at a burger place, albeit a fancy, smancy, burger place. What I would say that I'm disappointed in was the Truffle Fries appetizer. I know, why would you get fries as an appetizer when you already have fries with your burger? While this thought did cross my mind, I did not regret it until I saw the plate. I thought the Truffle Fries were going to be special, as in the fries are smothered with gooey, melted cheesy and laced with amazing Truffle butter goodness. Nope. It was just a huge plate of regular fries that are sprinkled with a little bit of grated cheese, that is not melted, and green onions. There is a little saucer of truffle butter on the side. The truffle butter isn't very strong and overpowering. The fries are the exact same ones that come with your burger. Was really underwhelmed and it was not worth the $9 price tag. Docks one star for such lackluster appetizer. Skip! I will come again and try their other burgers, specifically the Bison Burger and Jalapeno Egg. But will try another appetizer, maybe watermelon salad or wings.

The wife and I stopped in here for lunch last Saturday and boy were we shocked. We had been here a year ago and it wasn't much to write about but what a difference a year makes. It looks like they went through a major overhaul. We were seated promptly by an extremely friendly hostess. Our waiter was at our table within seconds of being seated polite young man named Chad. He took our drink order and was on his way. The entire makeup of the restaurant is really nice looking. Love their use of wood design throughout. They had every type of beer you could ask for. Within about a minute Chad was back with our drinks and asked if we had any questions about the menu. While we were looking it over he suggested appetizers of nachos. They were amazing. I love how fresh the chips were the guacamole was great and the chipotle sauce on top was out of this world. The wife ordered a cowboy or rodeo Burger. It has been a week and she is still talking about how great it was. She said the bun was extremely fresh had a unique taste and the burger was perfect in every way. I had a type of blue burger i.e. blue cheese. It was out of this world also. I agree with the wife the buns tasted great they were extremely fresh and added so much to the overall burger. The meat was great and you could tell it was high-quality. Both of our meals also came with fries that were hot and tasted amazing. I'm not sure if you would call this place a Gastro pub or what, but I would come here for the food it is spectacular in every sense of the word. As we were finishing our meal the manager Bunny stopped by and asked how it was. We told her how amazing our entire meal was and how much the restaurant had changed in a year. She suggested we try one of their desserts the caramel butterscotch pudding. The wife and I were both somewhat full but we have a soft spot for butterscotch. The pudding was to die for. It had a great salted caramel sauce on it. I still think about that and the burger every day getting a craving. I wish this place was closer to my home I would be going their way more often. We will be making special trips to Huntington Beach just to go to this restaurant. The restaurant was extremely clean. The staff understood guest service. Our drinks were never empty and you could tell they really wanted us to enjoy our meal something that is missing and so many restaurants. Great job to the Manager and her entire staff. All we can say is wow! We will be back very soon. If you are ever in the area of Huntington Beach I highly suggest you make the effort to visit this restaurant you will be glad you did.

I've been here a few times and never had a bad experience. The food and service has always been great. They have an awesome beer list and whiskey list and offer flights of both. My boyfriend and I have tried the nachos, which we will get every time now. They aren't your ordinary nachos, with shredded chicken and this sweet/tangy sauce... delicious. We've also had the cowboy burger and chicken sliders, both great, but my favorite thing was the rum pudding. I will go there for that alone. It's heaven with caramel and sea salt on top. My bf says it's too rich for him, he can only have a few bites, but I can eat the whole thing and I'm happy to not share!

I've been here once before for the burgers, and I recalled that they were pretty good. This time I came just for drinks and dessert. We were pretty disappointed. Our server was great, though. I got the Penicillin, which I've had in the past at other bars. This one tasted really watery. My friend's drink did, too, but she drank it anyway. The waitress offered to switch mine out, so I got the Hemingway, which also tasted not very sweet and diluted, but still better than the first, so I kept it. We also ordered the Bruschetta, which wasn't bad, though the bread would have been better had it been toasted. And instead of coming with mozarella or real cheese, it had a thin cheese spread instead. We also ordered the "Chocolate Espresso Souffle." Okay, this was nothing close to a souffle, which is light and fluffy. This was very dense and should have been called molten lava cake. We were disappointed because we came in search of souffle. It's fine as a molten chocolate cake but definitely not a souffle. I wouldn't come here for drinks or dessert again. They do have a nice patio area where you can sit as it's super cold and air conditioned inside. They also have HH after 9 p.m. (and in the early evenings).

As close to Silverlake, CA as you can get. With a dash of hipster and the ambience of a decent LA eaterie, what's not to like? They also make some of their own spirits. The house bourbon was my fave. I have yet to try the vodka. Great service, good looking staff, and above all the food was excellent! Oh try them truffle fries dagnabbit!

This place is great! Excellent craft beer selection, excellent and creative cocktails. We've had several items off the menu and have had enjoyable meals.. This is like an upscale Slaters 50/50, with cool burger and appetizers but without that excessive over indulgent feeling. We've been here three times within the last year and will be back many more! NOTE THIS IS TUCKED away area behind the Mexican restaurant, it took us several tries to find it! The sign is orange and up higher.. You'll find it eventually!

Most people come here with the intention to drink... or at least that was mine. Last time I came here was with my girlfriend. We came around 6pm on a weekday for some drinks. Most of their drinks were only Scotch, Bourbon, and whiskey. I'm a vodka girl so I was kinda in a dilemma. I went for their Mint julep. Now I like my drinks strong and this was strong, but the combination of mint and scotch was pretty disguising. My girlfriend's bloody mary was also not good. She didn't finish it. Besides drinks, we got a Kale salad, apple crisp, and some truffle fries. Kale salad was okay. Apple crisp was pretty good. The truffle fries were good but beware because it's almost like poutine. Yummy. As for service, the host and one of the girls working there wasn't friendly. She originally placed us in cold outside with all the families and babies. Uh no. So we asked to move inside. The guy waiting on us inside was very nice and friendly. Our foods and drinks came fast. I think for two drinks and three items not during happy hour the bill was about $45. The inside of the place is spacey. When we came they had live music. A girl was strumming on her guitar singing covers. They have plenty of TVs if you are there to watch the game. The outside patio is also nice.

My friends and I came here on sunday for dinner. There were about 8 of us total and we were seated very quickly. Overall, I had a positive experience. Its a great place for a small group and the environment is very mellow due to the dimly lit lights. Its a nice atmosphere to have a conversation and chill. As for the food, all of us ordered a wide array from their menu. A few of us shared their appetizers: nachos and their fries. Both were ok, nothing for me to get too excited about but decent none the less. I ordered the jalapeno burger with sweet potato fries after seeing that it was a popular option on yelp. After eating it, I thought it was just okay and didn't quite suit my taste. I wish I had ordered something else. I guess I'm a simple kind of guy and would have rather had a burger more similar to a double double. A burger for $3.50 at in n out would have been much more preferable to a $12 dish that didn't taste as good. Oh well. Anyway, I wouldn't go here alone but if there's a small group of people who want to hang out, its a nice place to relax. Oh, service was friendly and polite.

We came in a little less than an hour from their closing time & they were so nice about accommodating us. We went w/ the Napa burger bc they were out of the bison burger, but it was still satisfying. I went with the fish tacos, which were also delicious & healthy. For their late night menu, they gave us happy hour prices on the tacos & beer but not for my wine (not sure why), but the service, food, & atmosphere (outside patio) was great for HB, not to mention their wide selection of craft, rare beer?

Comfort food reimagined in an urban, industrial, hip, yet sexy vibe. Truffle cheese fries, Alfredo Mac and cheese, and crispy chicken sliders -- oh, my. Great wine list, large wall of beers on tap. Great outdoor patio dining with fireplace.

I came here during OC restaurant week, and it's such a good deal! You get an appetizer, entree, and dessert for $20. Of course, they have a specific menu for the occasion, but it's still a deal since all 3 would normally cost more than $20. The beers they have here are great, as there is a fairly wide selection. I ordered a mint julep, and boy was it strong. Too strong that I only drank about 10% of it. The food here is solid, you will get a good meal from this place. Ambiance is nice as well, good place for date night, or a get together with friends. I really like the rustic feel of the place. I've been to the Eureka in Irvine, and service there has been top notch. I was expecting the same at this one, but was a bit disappointed. We came at around 5 PM, but the place was not crowded at all. We were seated right away, our server told us about the OC restaurant week deal, and he got to our drinks right away. However, later on during our meal, we asked for some water, more beer, extra food, and he forgot about things we ordered. We had to ask him a couple more times until everything was brought out. It's not like we were being obnoxious either, and the restaurant was not busy at all. So I don't understand what the hold up & forgetfulness was about. Maybe he had a long day, but seriously, there were probably 4-5 other parties in the restaurant. Ultimately, I would come back to this particular Eureka location, but only if I'm in the area and the opportunity presents itself.

Came during HH. Had a burger and the mac n cheese. The Mac n cheese was literally the smallest portion I have ever had of mac n cheese anywhere. I would guess it was like 3 ozs?? Not sure but it was tiny. Its not even on the HH menu so why they insist on making it so small was beyond me. But then I get my burger and it is tiny, and the little cup of fries they give you with it is tiny as well. Really? Are you that cheap that even the french fries are in miniature portions? The burger was good. But for me, mac n cheese and french fries are the cheapest things you can serve...the food costs on those are already super low...so it takes a special type of corporate greed to be so daring as to try and pass off those gerber baby food sized portions as acceptable. If you have such low regard for your customers then you must have low regard for your employees as well. Oh yeah, maybe thats why all the employees there seemed unhappy, this strikes me as the type of place where having a sense of humor is cause for immediate dismissal. Two stars because the location is so awesome, 1 star because the burger was decent...

Creole Benedict starts with fried green tomatoes topped with Virginia ham, fried eggs, hollandaise sauce, and served with breakfast potatoes and arugula. This spin on the classic eggs benedict is fantastic! With its Southern inspired flavors and California produce, it is awe-inspiring but not super-heavy. The fried green tomatoes are coated with cornmeal and offer the best possible crunch. The tomato inside is slightly sour, but works well with the salty, meaty Virginia ham, and creamy yolk from the egg and hollandaise sauce. The breakfast potatoes and arugula are perfect as sides. Use the potatoes to sop up the extra yolk and hollandaise sauce. Rating: 4.5/5 Huevos Rancheros is corn tortillas topped with bison steak chili, fried eggs, ranchero sauce, black beans, Monterey Jack and cheddar cheeses, avocado, sour cream, and pico de gallo. The bison steak chili is fantastic with its bold meaty flavor! It's like a Mexican chili omelet in stacked form. The yolk and avocado add creaminess to the dish. This chili would also be great as a chili cheese fries option with an ice cold craft beer. Rating: 4.5/5 Granola is served atop Greek yogurt and topped with mixed berries, banana, and honey. The Greek yogurt is thick and rich. The granola adds a sweet crunchy texture. The fruits and honey add a natural sweetness. It is very simple and very delicious! Rating: 5/5 Bananas Foster Crunchy French Toast is topped with candied pecans, spiced rum syrup, and homemade whipped cream. The French toast is coated with frosted flakes to add a sweet crunchy texture to the outside. The bananas foster is perfectly sweet and caramelized making almost firm banana custard feel and taste. The spiced rum syrup is addictive and just sweet enough. The whipped cream is fluffy and adds a cooling flavor. This would work well as a dessert, just switch out the whipped cream for vanilla bean ice cream! Whether ordered as your breakfast or as a "dessert" after breakfast, this is a must try! Rating: 5/5

Happy hour everday 3-6 The venue is nice, they have serveral tvs which is great for games. I like their selection on whiskey and craft beers. We were greeted and seated immediately. Their patio area is nice and has a small fireplace area. What we ordered *Corn dogs - 5/5 juicy and yummy my favorite of what we ordered *bruschetta - refreshing tomatos with goat cheese and lemon zest 3/5 *onion rings - my onion was still a little raw and it didnt taste well like that *steamed clams - smells and tastes really good. The broth itself is tastey 4/5 *chocolate souffle with vanilla bean ice cream. -the icecream was not vanilla bean, and i found the souffle to be grainy 1/5 * bloody mary 5/5 Service was prompt. Food came out quickly and our server was nice and attentive. 5/5 The reason why i didnt give 4/5 stars in total instead was because of what it seems to be.. a small fruit fly issue here. I kept waving my hand around trying to make sure the flies stay away from my food. And i am sitting inside here. That grossed me out a bit.

This is my first visit here. Sub par experience. Sub par food. Our waiter highly recommended the osso bucco riblets as the starter. It was super dry. The only taste to it was the firecracker aioli. I ordered the bone marrow burger ($16.50) medium rare. It came out well done. Boo! Who eats well done gourmet burgers?! (Gourmet was the word our waiter used to describe the burgers that Eureka specialize in) Seriously?! Let's go to the service..it was horrible. Our waiter came to check on us twice. I was done with my drink way before the meal ended and never once did he offer us refills. He was apparently in a hurry to wait on bigger tables. I would not recommend this establishment for dining. Drinking and HH maybe but do not expect good service/attention or good food.

This star is only for the food. They have an amazing steak salad and their tortilla burger is so unique. However, we have been here several times and each time the service has been terrible. From getting our food after waiting for 45 minutes, to our waitress disappearing, to waiting for our food yet again and then it being cold and not right. I think it's safe to say we're done going to Eureka because of its terrible service. They obviously don't know teamwork among one another because our food just sits and gets cold.... It's such a bummer bc that salad is to die for!! We went over to CPK and enjoyed their food with great service.

During the gold rush era in California, men would mine their claims in hopes of finding a full life's wages nestled within the rocks. Upon finding the riches hidden away beneath a harsh blanket of earth, the prospectors would shout, "Eureka!", which roughly translates to "We sell burgers and beer!" When Eureka first opened, I was intrigued. Then the reviews came in at around 3 stars average, and I lost interest. Then the average climbed to over 4 stars and I was intrigued again. I've been here twice now and it is a dangerous place. Let me get service out of the way first. Service is so-so. I've had better, but I've definitely had worse. In general it seems a bit slower paced and occasionally we felt like we were waiting a bit too long to be noticed, but it wasn't a deal breaker. Food: Appetizers/Sides: -Truffle Cheese Fries: Calories? What are those? These were actually surprisingly good, better than the truffle fries from the likes of BurGR in Vegas. -Corn Dog Lollipops: Very good, which I was shocked at. These honestly rival Disneyland corn dogs, mostly because they use a good dog as their base and it tastes fresh. -Onion rings: Fiancee liked these a lot, mostly because they weren't over-battered (she's less a fan of the beer batter in favor of panko). They were a perfect sweetness for onion rings, though a little unruly due to their size. -Fries: Good, nothing special worth mentioning though. Just being thorough. Henry David Thorough. Burgers: -Just as an aside, they offer bison patties here. It's almost $6 extra to have a bison patty, which is so evil because once you go bison and know you can have it it's so hard to go back. The fact that I know I can get it here is of some solace though. -Cowboy: Decent burger, elevated by the bison I elected to get more than anything. Probably one of the best I've had in the nearby area. -Jalapeño Egg: Less impressive than the Cowboy, but still good. The egg didn't elevate that much, mostly due to the jalapeño overpowering the experience. -Tortilla: Fiancee liked it. I tried a bite, didn't really care for it. Beer: I won't go into details about each beer here (that's for apps like Untappd, which I just discovered), but they have a really good, comprehensive selection of beers on tap, both fixed and rotating. I hesitate to say they're all craft brews since I'm far from an expert on the subject, but if you're just looking for a Bud...you're in the wrong place. I'm going to have to keep myself from coming here too often, but I definitely enjoyed it.

You really can't beat the happy-hour prices. HH menu is awesome (9PM - even on a FRIDAY night!) and ridiculously cheap. $5 gives you corn dogs (4 pieces), $5 for a mountain of truffle fries, $7 for fried chicken sliders. They also have a respectable beer menu and full whiskey bar. Stop by for cheap eats and good beer.

My boyfriend & I have been coming here since it opened. We love Amber- she knows our orders by heart- even down to the extra ketchup & truffle sauce! She's awesome. The boyfriend gets the Cowboy Burger medium well with traditional French fries. I get the Blues Burger medium well with traditional French fries and a side of truffle sauce. We both share the appetizer of Oso Bucco Riblets O.M.G!!!! Amaze. The desserts are great. The rum pudding is to die for. The selection of craft beer is phenomenal. Overall, I recommend Eureka! as a choice for any lunch or dinner meal. Their hoppy hour is a great opportunity to sample all of their delicious appetizers! Cheers!

This is the first Eureka restaurant I've tried. And I'm so glad that I did. We ordered the osso bucco riblets and the truffle fries as our appetizers. they came out really fast and were absolutely delicious. My favorite had to be the truffle fries that were using with cheese. I ordered a Shirley Temple and my boyfriend ordered a local beer. By the way there's selection of beer is absolutely amazing! So many options for everybody's taste. Before I could even finish my Shirley Temple, a new one was brought out to me! It was amazing. Like magic. I had the Fig & Goat Cheese burger. it was absolutely delicious. I asked for medium rare and it was the best. I upgraded the side to this cinnamon sugar sweet potato fries and got them well done. My boyfriend order the bison burger and it had delicious grilled veggies on top. Also he upgraded his side to the onion rings and they were absolutely phenomenal. Service was outstanding and I would highly recommend this location! Definitely will be back.

I came here for late night drinks with friends. It is such a nice place to hang out after hours. The place is spacious with both indoor and outdoor seatings. I love the fireplace outside. What makes it unique is their whiskey offerings. I am a lover of whiskey and was excited to tried out the sampler. The Four Roses is my favorite, nice fragrant and smooth. I did not think the food was impressive, but their truffle fries were really good. We ordered two portions because the sauce that came with it.

Been here atleast 5 times and every time the food is stellar and on point! Usually start with their amazing nachos or corn dog lollipops and split the Fresno Fig Burger with the hubby. The beers on tap are great according to the husband, the wine selection is always good and had their chocolate souffle with ice cream today and it is so good my mouth was watering. The service is always above and beyond and Bunny I think it's the manager she's super friendly. They also have great happy hour prices and selection. Gonna try their brunch soon. Definitely a great place to meet friends or for date lunch/dinner.

first time here, quickly greeted & seated...upon perusing the menu decided on the shishito peppers app, gf ordered the cobb salad & I opted for the pearl street blues burger... vibe:hipster/trendy/kool food:shishito peppers:grilled to perfection w/good balance of lemon & olive oil w/masago eggs drizzled on top... cobb salad:fresh w/good ratio of chicken breast to veggies... burger:very juicy & opted for smoked mozzarella instead of bleu cheese crumbles... service:excellent...drinks always topped off BEFORE asking & Ryan & Katie came around to check on us on several occasions... bookmarking this place as I write this!!!

What's up with the hype? The service is too slow for me!!! Seriously how can one waiter deal with all his tables. This is really because of management, don't be so stingy, it just makes your customers never want to come back. Don't get the sweet potato fries it was so nasty with the honey on it :((((

The vibe is chill, the food good, and there service was comforting. But there's one thing that leaves a bitter taste. For a place that serves quality CRAFT BEER they sure increase the price. I'm a big fan of craft beer, always trying the get a taste of the finest brew, and yes I'm usually willing to pay an arm or a leg for it. But when an establishment raises the price of a recently release limited beer (Bottle Logic Fundamental Observation) from 20bucks @Bottle Logic to 42buck I find that disrespectful; to there credit, assuming from outcries of the social media follower they did lower it to $30 bottle which is still dissatisfying yet fair. Especially for those who miss the actually bottle release at the brewery. I struggle with this review changing it from a 4 to 3 to a 2stars review only because I wasn't able to shake this nasty vibe off my shoulder. Through my experience I've seen the most a dollar up charge for such beer as black tuesday, parabola, BCBS etc.. and I'm fine with it, but a 3buck up charge is completely unfair and disrespectful. Understand that bottle are rare and yes bottles like fundamental observation is high sought after and i agree the price is fair. But to increase the price of the DRAFT is ridiculous. Through my experience I've seen most place up charge rare beer a buck more, and I'm fine with it, but a 3 dollar up charge is completely unfair and disrespectful. At the brewery for a 9oz pour was $9buck (expected) but 12bucks shows the demeanor of your establishment and for this I give you 2stars. I understand the hype is real, beers today become rare, but this is something I expect from a seller on CRAIGS LIST not a well establish business.

Experience at my first time at this establiment: Walk in and sit down at the bar. No one says hello. Ok cool whatever.... Make eye contact with the bartender and expect an "I'll be right there gesture" or at least some kind of aknowledgment. Sit at the bar for another 10 minutes while the bar tender flirts with bimbo (mean while I'm obviously waiving him down) and nothing. I get up walk to take a leak and get eye contact with the bartender again....still nothing. Wait....hold on. Did I come here for a staring contest? No I came cause I wanted to order a freaking beer. On to the next place and maybe I might get some service for $12/drink. :/

This place is pretty darn good. The atmosphere is very laid back which is to be expected in a beach location. The theme is simple enough: craft beer, wine, and burgers. A perfect trifecta of vicious delights. The focus on only serving local beer from California which lets you know how many great breweries exist in our beautiful state. Smog City and Firestone to name a few. The food was impeccable. Great flavor combinations that push the limit and tie the line. Fig Burger and Beet Patty caught my eye but I stuck to the classic bacon, cheddar, bison burger. Finger licking delicious to say the least. Friendly attractive staff that are happy to offer their suggestions at your request. Try it next time your in the 405 with no clue what to eat.

Came here on a Thursday night for dinner with a party of 3. The place was about 50% full and we chose to sit inside. I ended up ordering the chicken tender sliders ($11.50) which was very good! 2 pretty thin and crispy chicken strips with a thin tomato, pickle and special sauce served in a biscuit rather than a burger bun. It also came with french fries and I added truffle sauce on the side ($1). The truffle sauce was sooo good and definitely made the fries taste a lot better....highly recommend. I got a beer they had on special for $3 which was very tasty. The 2 others in my party got huge burgers which they both couldn't completely finish, which also came with fries. Service was very friendly and attentive and everything came out on time. Great dining experience on a pretty mellow evening here. I would definitely come back to try some other options on the menu.

Came here 3 times within the last 2 months. Moscow mule is on point! The best alcoholic drink I've ever had so far, there burgers are very delicious as well. This place is a little high end and expensive but well worth every penny! Treat your bartender and waitress well and you shall get the same treatment.

Very cute place and a of place to enjoy beers and appetizers! I came here last week after a baby shower since a few of us wanted to continue drinking and eating good food. We ordered a bunch of finger foods and draft beers. We ordered nachos with extra jalapeños, truffle fries, and corn dogs. Our waitress was very friendly and checked up on us frequently. I really like their patio and their fireplace. This place is built in the nicer part of Bella Terra

The leftover food on the seats and table should have been our sign to leave. The guy that sat us, even had to brush some food off the seat. Our server was really sweet but had to go on her break after she took our order. No harm there, I get it - people need to go on break - but replacing her with someone dull as dishwater was kind of a jab. I got the watermelon salad because it sounded refreshing and on the healthy side. There was not one speck of quinoa, the watermelon tasted like the HB pier on a busy fishing day, and the arugula tasted old. We had to ask to get refills on our soda. Lesson learned, will never go there again. Good luck with trying to be the cool hipster hangout slash gastro pub. Eureka! - I found out you suck.

I always receive outstanding service every time I dine here. I love this location and adore their patio at night. My friend and I arrived Monday afternoon and were greeted immediately with big smiles. We're huge burger fans so we decided to look at their selection and give them a try. We weren't disappointed at all. Our waitress was so sweet and informative. She recommended the Napa burger, and it was delicious! I'll definitely be back soon to try the other burgers since I live close by :)

I've been here 2 times so far and must say, I've found my new favorite burger joint and luckily I am in the area all the time. My first visit consisted of unsweetened tea and the tortilla burger. No complaints what so ever from me. Words cannot explain how out of this world this place is. You have to taste it to understand. My second visit was the fig burger, it is everything they say and more. I need to go back. Seriously, following me, everyone knows how descriptive my reviews are, I cant put words to this place... simply cant. The only way to eat a burger is medium-rare by the way... Sad day in the world if you order it any more cooked than that. Let us not forget, everything is made in house including the ketchup.

First off, this place has a real cool look to it. It's a great place to grab libations with friends to catch up or watch sports. They have a cool bar area as well as a fairly large outdoor seating area. It's located in an outdoor shopping mall type of place, located across the street from an Old Navy. Parking is free. They have HH everyday from 2-6 PM, even on weekends! We tried quite a few of the HH items: 1) Truffle Cheese Fries ($5): very bland. This plate came out looking like an ordinary plate of fries! I was very disappointed, couldn't taste the truffle or cheese or anything. 2) Corn Dogs ($5): cute, yummy and crispy corn batter outside and juicy dog on the inside, but nothing special or memorable. 3) Nacho Average Nachos ($7): these are the type of nachos that are piled on with stuff (like chicken, cheese, guac, beans, etc.) only on the top, so once you get to the bottom layer of chips, there are no more toppings :( 4) Puget Sound Steamers ($10): probably my favorite HH dish of the afternoon. The broth is light, but flavorful and briny. The clams were juicy. Comes with 2 slices of toasted bread to dip in to the broth. 5) Osso Buco Riblets ($6): tender meat, but I didn't think it was that great. All in all, the food was just ok, nothing special. If I could recommend one thing, it would be the Puget Sound Steamers. The drinks were pretty good, the Moscow Mule was tasty and refreshing. The service was good and attentive. Glad I tried this place out and I really enjoyed the ambiance, but in regards to the food, it may be a while before I come back.

Solid joint and a nice mix up from the usual fare of BJ's or Yardhouse. Plenty of beers on taps and other drinks. They have a bloody mary special on Saturdays (not sure if it is all weekend) for only $5. The bacon is great with this, but that's all that I liked about it (e.g. I'm not a blood mary drinker but I imagine if you like it, you are definitely getting your money's worth here). I've tried their corn dog pops, the Napa burger, a salad, their gimongous onion rings, the riblettes... and all of them were a 3.5-4 out of 5 in terms of taste and value. Fries were a bit lackluster- more on the soggy than crispy side. Nothing blew me out of the water, but I wouldn't be opposed to coming here. The outdoor area is so nice- love to hear the sound of the fountain nearby. It isn't obnoxiously crowded so I like that about Eureka. Service is pretty quick here as well. I'll definitely be back!

My husband, baby girl and I had lunch here today with my father in law. It was amazing!! Jenny our waitress was a doll and super helpful with narrowing down what to get from their "everything looks delicious" menu! We each had a different burger and split the corn dog lollipop's! Jenny even brought out avocado and watermelon for our baby girl! Super sweet!! Can't wait to come back!!! Enjoy!!

Passed by this place many times and been wanting to try out their burgers, so finally came here for a late dinner this week. Ordered the jalapeño egg burger medium, it came out too well done for me and a bit dry not juicy at all and no veggies. Ordered some appetizers, their osco buco riblets and the lollipop corn dog. It was disappointing, food was not up to par for my taste. Venue is pretty big and nice and clean but lighting was too dark. Service was just ok. No wonder this place is not packed.

Today is my first visit to Eureka! The experience was definitely worth it. Adding on, the restaurant gave me a comfortable, welcoming vibe. There was a wide selection of salads, burgers, appetizers, sandwiches, etc. Chris, my waiter, was very attentive and explained the whole menu and his personal favorites. I ordered the 'Steak Salad' and it was so delicious! It was nicely prepared & I added a side of avocado for $1.50. Overall, this experience at Eureka! was the greatest. Great service, and obviously great food. I will be coming here more often!

Stopped here on a Sat night and to our pleasant surprise my husband and I were able to be seated right away. They planned well for adequate seating for this place with both indoor and outdoor areas. Our server was really down to earth and genuine. He gave us a recommendation for a Ballast Point Grapefruit Sculpin IPA to drink which was a total hit for us. As far as food goes burgers were our choice. My hubby had the mushroom blue cheese one and added bacon to it, and I had a simpler Napa burger with a minimal amount of prosciutto (wish it came with more), pesto aioli, arugula, and havarti cheese. Mine was recommended by my server and when the food runner served it to me she commented on it being a good choice, so it's apparently a popular item. It was really juicy, cooked to perfection and I enjoyed it. I got a side of onion rings which for an onion ring fanatic, they totally mastered. Both my husband and I agreed however, that our burgers don't live up to Haven's Gastropub, so the burgers won't particularly be the reason we come back but everything else will; hip atmosphere, awesome beer selection, and amazing onion rings!

Its easily the best hamburger of all the gourmet hamburger places in OC as well as Los Angeles, really better than any restaurant. Its also a very good value. Ask for no salt on the fries that come with the burger--the amount of salt they put on their great fries will kill you and they don't need it.

Love this place. Love the atmosphere. Love the food. Love the drinks! I'll keep this simple. Wanted a place to hang out with my friends... sipping on a wide selection of tasty beverages and some finger foods to complement. Beer selection was GREAT. The waiter was very nice when suggesting a beer based on my personal preferences. Had a nice Belgium beer. Also, ordered the Truffle Fries. It was excellent. Perfect finger food. A good amount of salty and flavor straying away from your traditional fries. Unfortunately, we had eaten dinner before, but REALLY itching to come back and try their burgers. Though, I think I'm going to wait for the new Irvine location at UTC to open up! Unfortunate that many new restaurants have taken over the nostalgic Irvine UTC restaurants. But, what are you going to do... it's business. And Eureka is going to be something I look forward to.

happy hour! (posted a pic of the menu) my favorite appetizers from the hh menu are - corn dogs: $5 and they give u 5. so cute! and I love how the outside is thin. I would ask them to cook it a bit more though to make it more crispy - truffle cheese fries: $5 and they give u a pretty good amount. if u eat like me, it's enough for 3 people. the cheese truffle was so good! - bruschetta: did not like this one. the bread wasn't crispy and kind of soggy. If you like eating this, I suggest u ask them to cook the bread a little bit more, and have the ingredients separate. I would like it better if I got to put the spread and tomatoes on myself. this also insures the bread stay crunchy longer. - clam soup: prettyyy good. I like the flavor of the soup. - nacho average nachos: not into this one. it looks like it would be good but it wasn't lol overall, I would only come here during happy hour.

**I'm giving Eureka HB 4 stars for their Hoppy Hour - I can't speak to the regular dinner menu as I only dined from the appetizers!** Hubby and I wanted to find a place to watch the World Cup USA vs. POR match-up but didn't want to hang out in a sports bar (I needed some yummy eats). Eureka has been on my radar since I saw my Yelp friend Minerva T. post about it on her blog. Location-wise, Eureka is actually part of the slew of restaurants serving the new luxury apartment complexes and nowhere near the main hub of restaurants near Barnes and Noble and Century Theaters. As a point of reference, it is located near the fountains across from King's Fish House and next door to Solita. I was stunned to not only find parking immediately in the Bella Terra on a Sunday but also that the restaurant was relatively empty. There are plenty of televisions above the bar and scattered throughout the restaurant. We were seated in the center of the restaurant in full view of two different TVs - only wish they had put closed captioning on those TVs like they did for the ones on the bar. I wanted to come here for the whiskey and the craft beers - of which they have plenty! I didn't get a chance to try any of the whiskey they had on hand (but they have Buffalo Trace!) but hubs and I did manage to sneak in a beer. Since it was Hoppy Hour (7 days a week from 2-6pm), we decided to take advantage of the reduced-priced appetizers. We ordered the truffle fries (huge portion, plenty to share), the Osso Bucco Riblets, and the Lollipop Corn Dogs. I really enjoyed the truffle fries and the Osso Bucco Riblets were a good portion and husband liked them. I also enjoyed the cute factor of the corn dogs, but they're corn dogs - can't say much about that. I had seen on Eureka's Instagram that they were serving their version of a Brazilian caipirinha in honor of the World Cup but they were doing a twist by using vodka instead. I ordered this "caipiroskha" as they named it and it was refreshing and delicious! The service at Eureka was great - our waiter kept tabs on us and we had an enjoyable first experience. Considering how empty it was when we first arrived, the restaurant did slowly fill up as the game progressed, which made it more fun to cheer on Team USA as we watched them tie with Portugal. They are still relatively new so I think they are trying to find their niche. I hope to come back and have dinner and try some of the drink selections they have - hoping that this review doesn't change too much since I've seen some mixed reviews on Yelp. I had a great time nonetheless!

I came here yesterday as it was recommended as one of the best burger places around as well as a nice brew selection. I ordered the napa burger with a side of truffle sauce for my fries. That truffle sauce is amazing. The napa burger has pesto, tomato, and arugula on it. It was a very "busy" burger and full of different flavors. A genius concoction. I ordered two of the beers here. Very good selection. Some local breweries and other microbrews. Definitely coming back!

Service was slow. We had reservations at 8:30 didn't get seated for 20 minutes and the place had more open spaces than taken tables. The server was very polite. But he took our drink orders and mine never came. Also it wasn't until 10 minutes after we placed our food that he told us there was no more salmon. A dish that 2 out of the 5 people ordered. The food took a really long time to come out and most of us ended up getting salads which don't take long to prepare at all. It was also relatively empty so I'm not so sure why it took so long. The food was pretty good. I got the kale salad with chicken. I enjoyed it but it was about 3 oz of chicken and 10 oz of salad. The ambiance was cool and modern and there was a live performer which added a nice feel. The meal was not as exclamatory as the name of the restaurant implies.

I like the ambiance and the whole setup of the place. The drinks were pretty good and they have a great whiskey bar. But the food was very bland, at best the food was sub par. The truffle fries - very soggy and lacked flavor Tortilla burger - this was ok but still didn't have much flavor Short rib ragu- completely disgusting.. Looked like a pile of mush

This is my first time trying the Eureka in HB. It was quite spacious! It was also quite empty (we went on a Sunday night and there was definitely no wait and lots of tables). The servers were really nice and efficient. We had the patio area almost completely to our selves (which is good because we were also doing a christmas gift exchange!) We got truffle fries (nom), nachos (double nom!), the bruschetta (it was okay, not that much bang for your buck but it tasted good), and I ordered the fig burger. Needless to say, after all of those appetizers, I was pretty full.. but I still pressed forward and ate a good half of my burger! It was delicious and it was actually cooked right (medium rare... not many places get burgers right! I'm impressed). All in all it was a great experience, and I'm surprised it's not more poppin in hurr. It may just be because it's not immediately apparent nor is it close to most of the shops... but if you can find it, it's worth it! By the way they have a selfie booth in the front of the restaurant which we made excellent use of. Also, if this is like the Eureka in Claremont, they should have a steal the glass night on Wednesday :) awesomeness!

Had an awesome meal here last night. Food was spot on, service was even better. We placed our drink orders, and our food orders at the same time. We were relaxing and enjoying our drinks, when we were approached by not one but two managers at different times apologizing for the slow ticket times. We assured them we were in no hurry. The food was amazing! I had a fig burger. It is a grass fed angus burger, with fig jam, goat cheese, bacon, arugula, tomato and onion. It was the most interesting combination of flavors I have ever had. The burger was juicy and well seasoned. I cut a portion for my husband and he agreed that the burger was indeed excellent. He had the California chicken sandwich and also loved it. Their French fries and onion rings are also well done. It was food worth waiting for. The decor of the restaurant is very industrial chic, with lots of reclaimed wood, steel, fun light fixtures, and very nice booths. Service is so attentive it's not even funny! I can see this place becoming a habit!

In all honesty, I only came here on the strength of the recommendation of a friend, who dined at Eureka last weekend. It would appear that once again, the ol' space/time continuum was up to its dirty tricks, swapping the amazing cook that made their food with his evil twin, Bartholomew the Dastardly, to make ours. Thanks be to God, the craft beers and the deep fryer were not under Bart's control for our visit; mmm, delicious amber ale and corndoglets, you salvaged the meal for our ragtag party. No, I wouldn't advertise Eureka as a burger restaurant, at least not until the chef(s) had ALL been properly trained in the art of grilling burger patties. Despite the nice gourmet selection of topping combinations on the menu, the flavor of the three patties sampled by our party (Fresno, Cowboy, and one plain with cheddar), was not only low in flavor quotient, but cooked well beyond the requested "medium"s. In its favor, Eureka's service was noteworthy: speedy, attentive, quick to refill. The manager was circulating the tables and socializing pleasantly with the customers, and when my sweetie pointed out his thoroughly grey "medium rare" burger patty, the kind man comped it from our bill ('though it had been later consumed, regardless). Also, the corndog app and the fries were very nice, causing me to speculate that the beef patties might have been better served as deep fried in this case. Absolutely avoid the chicken nachos, unless you fancy the flavor of unseasoned, canned chicken dribbled atop salt chips and melted silly putty (in the guise of jack cheese). Happy hour would be happier without the cold mess. One star for the beer, one for the customer care, and one for the fried delectables. Seems generous to me. Now please fix your nachos and your burgers!

Stopped by last night(Sunday), and the place was pretty empty around 8:00pm. Super cute ambiance though, loved the fire outside juxtaposed against the waterfalls of the plaza, neat effect. We had two servers assisting us, one was Sebastian and the other I believe was Kyle(?). They were both really helpful sharing their favorites and guiding us through the menus as it was our first time. Service: 5 stars- they even handled my drunk and extremely talkative friend with ease Drinks: 5 stars- the sour was amazing, as was the penicillin. They have a ton of whiskeys, so my friend kept getting an old fashioned to test various ones. A bit strong for my taste but he loved them. Food: 3 stars- the bruschetta was really tasty, but they bread didn't hold up well to its contents. Osso buco riblets were dry and even my carnivore friend was slow to eat them. The truffle fries are a HUGE serving. Pretty good, just so much richness. Chicken saltimbocca was really good though. Two filets covered in prosciutto and mozzarella. Mmmmmm Paired with the salad was the perfect balance with the intensity of the truffle fries.

Great burgers and appetizers. Love the Happy Hour menu. Truffle Cheese Fries are bomb! Had the Jalapeno Fried Egg Burger with a veggie patty and it was fantastic. Forgot to order the egg well done (usually don't like runny eggs) but it was still awesome. Amber has been our server the couple times we've been here and she is quick to offer suggestions and very accommodating when it comes to substitutions. Overall a great dining experience!

Coming back on a repeat visit and decided to try a burger that i passed up the first time and super glad i got it this time. The bacon infused jalapeno jam was a perfect addition to a very juicy burger.

I'm a huge fan of this place, I've been supporting this group since I lived in the IE which happens to be one of there prime locations. I always go here for the cocktails, craft beers, burgers, and sometimes the brunch. They recently added a few things on the menu which include the breakfast burrito which I really enjoy. I always order the Jalapeño Egg burger medium well and add sweet potato fries, that fills me up everytime. If I'm in the mood for a cocktail, I go for a Old Fashioned - super simple but packs good flavor. One most important thing about this place is they serve grass fed beef and natural chicken, can't really find that any restaurant in the area. The ole saying goes, "You are what you eat".

This place has a really chill vibe. The staff was attentive and polite. Our food was taking a while to come out, we were nearly done with our drinks and appetizers. We didn't care because we were in no rush, but then the manager came out of nowhere and gave us a $25 gift card for being patient. If you like whiskey and you like burgers, you cannot go wrong. I have visited multiple times and have had positive experiences rah time.

I come to Eureka burger when I'm feeling like having an arugula watermelon quinoa salad, oddly enough. They really do it best here. It's like a Starbucks in a way - comforting to have what I like no matter what city I'm in. This location had great service - our server went on break while we were in the middle of our meal, but was sure to introduce her stand-in, who was also very attentive. All in all a good experience. Parking in this shopping center can be difficult, so it's sometimes a good idea to park across the street and walk over. My salad was not swimming in dressing so that was also a huge plus! The red ale I had was also just what I was looking for - thanks to my server for recommending this one! I'll likely be back here in the future when in the HB area.

!!!!!!!!!!!! This place is OK. I would come here to drink.. Because there's nothing else open on a Tuesday night except BJs. First time I came here for the food. Got the Mac and cheese/ ribs. Nothing to brag about. Came again for drinks with a friend. The drink descriptions are quite interesting. I just ended up getting a dirty martini. Drinks are around $10 on average if you're getting a mix. Ordered the strawberry salad because I read blue cheese and candied pecans, there were barely any. Sad face. Would I come back? Yeah because like I said, nothing else opens late (past 11) on a Tuesday except here or bjs. Maybe I'll try a burger next time but I'm sure that won't change my review any higher.

I've been here a few times and have had mixed success. I have always sat at the bar and, regardless of the time, the bartender has been helpful and attentive. Kudos to that. The hoppy hour menu is excellent and a good deal. If you can make it during that time, you can get some good grub for reasonable. Their beer and whiskey selection is excellent, as well, though not all is on the hoppy hour menu. Just pay attention to what you order and you'll be ok. The first time I went, I missed hoppy hour (by that much *fingers held together*). We got the Anthem Pear Cider and an Old Rasputin stout on nitrogen. Also ordered the Osso Buco Riblets (no parsley due to allergy), but had to cancel because they put parsely on. Was a good thing, though, because the burger and tacos we ordered were more than enough. The order was the "seasonal Pacific Fish Tacos. Lightly blackened". This came with 3 tacos and handcut fries. And the "Original Eureka burger medium rare w fries". Both were excellent. Minor fiasco averted. Next visit was during Hoppy Hour. Finally got the Oso Buco Riblets. So good. Salads and beer rounded out my "meal". Was a post workout reward and, hopefully I didn't counter all my hard work. They have a regular tap list of about 20, and an additional list of rotating taps. Your selection may vary and its good to look at the board or ask the bartender. Tastes are encouraged. Must have what you like, right? A good choice in the area. My recommendation is to sit at the bar to get the best attention. However, that is just what I do whenever I go to a gastropub...

This was a Yelp victory lol. I used the photos to make decisions as to what to order, and of course everything was on point! First thing I noticed is for a Friday night this place wasn't that packed was surprising for this mall. Came in and was seated promptly, and had my first issue-- we have a two kids under the age of 3, and they tried to seat us at a table right next to a couple-- I had us re-seated to a booth, my kid would've been climbing all over that couple. I am not a whisky drinker, but they had some amazing looking samplers if that is your thing--- We ordered multiple appetizers, and chose not to get an entree based on the previous reviews, so we tried : The nachos--I would give that a 3-4 stars, plenty of food on the nachos, and had a really good chipotle sauce on it. The corn dog lollipops--5 stars! A MUST try if you come to this place, the sauces for dipping were really good. The lollipops were so good we ordered two plates of them! I would give the service a 3-4 stars. Ryan was awesome, he got us some beer samples to try out, but 2 or 3 times I had to go looking for him ( the manager had to take my card for the bill), and considering they weren't that busy..... I DO recommend Eureka--get a seat outside, use the YELP app to order, and ENJOY! We will be back! PS--- the parking at Bella Terra is HORRIBLE, if you are meeting someone there, give yourself an extra 15-30 mins. Thanks!

My husband and I have been here twice within the last month. The first time we popped in after a movie for a beer and app. The second time we were there for happy hour and got a couple beers and food. The service was average the first time, but better the next. Both times we ordered the nachos and OMG! I think these are the best nachos I've ever had. The chips tasted fresh and the chipotle sauce on them was so delicious. I love that they use fresh jalapenos too. It gave them an added "kick". My husband and I both plan to go back and try the burgers next time (and probably have more nachos!)

Wanted to try this new place, and it's different. Love the amount of beer they have on tap and during happy hour, they have $2 off their beers and certain appetizers. Since we were starving and our eyes were waaaayyy bigger than our stomachs, we went on an ordering spree and basically ordered the appetizer menu as well as burgers. Service was alright, slow at times, but this place is fairly new, just need a little tweaking to better that in time. Nacho average nachos: More average than not, chicken, guac, salsa, cheese, sour cream. It wasn't super crazy or flavorful. Corndog lollipops: I love corndogs, and was looking forward to this. Pretty good, and all cute as a little lollipop. Came with 5 pops and came with ketchup, mustard, and a chipotle ranch. I liked this a lot. Steamers: plump and huge clams, loved the sauce and grilled ciabatta bread to do all the dipping. I recommend. Truffle fries: Kind of disappointing, the havarti cheese was good but lacked the truffle essence, the fries weren't crispy and needed a bit more sprinkle of salt. Napa burger: definitely juicy and cooked how I had wanted, to a medium rare. The roasted tomato was a bit to big for my liking, it was like biting into half of a tomato rather than a slice. The pesto aioli was on point though, flavorful and the bacon added a great salty. Onion rings: panko crusted and thin and were huge! Loved that crunch it gave and didn't have that usual, oily, thick batter like most onion rings. The concepts are great but food and service needs a little work. Maybe next time it'll be better.

WEAR MOSQUITO REPELLENT because you are on their menu! The patio was open during the evening and even though we were inside in the dining area back by the restroom, it was still in the buggers territory. With plenty of people dining, this is a great place for them to feed as well. :( I felt like little hairs were poking my leg during our visit but didn't give thought to mosquitoes. Their take was 9 combined bites on both legs. Flying pests aside... We first experienced Eureka up in San Luis Obispo, so when we found one close to home, wasn't hard to come to HB. Same menu selections with a small local selection of available brews. This trip I had the Pearl Street Blues Burger and the wife chose White Fish Tacos. The tacos were tasty but didn't seem appropriate for the price. Food was tasty as expected. The table staff we had was less than enthusiastic about suggesting brews to try. The tap menu mostly had low percentage drinks and that was a turn off. Where are the double IPA's, hearty stouts...?! With sooo many San Diego and OC breweries, we was hoping to find more of those breweries offerings. Contrast to SLO, the guys there were enthusiastic to explain and recommend brews to drink. They had the passion to sell and that brought us back to sample more. The female server seemed ho-hum but she did check on us to make sure our dining experience was coming along. That doesn't sell much beer though. :( Music was up moderately and of course at about 80% capacity the people talking over the music made the place roar. I expect a noisy dining environment when visiting these types of drinking places though. Place is clean and tables were cleared efficiently to allow diners come-go at a constant flow. Food quality - 4 Service - 3 Brew selection - 3 Would come back for the burgers but as far as beer, maybe this was a lull in what is available at other times of the year.

I was overall pleased with my experience here. I came on a Saturday afternoon for lunch and was able to sit on the patio. The ambiance both inside and outside are very nice. Inside is dark and modern, while outside you have a perfect view of the fountains. The food was terrific. I went with the Napa Burger and Panko Breaded Onion Rings. The burger was cooked to a perfect medium and very juicy. The breading on the onion rings had a nice light texture. They offer salads and dinner entrees in addition to the burgers. I tried a bite of the taco salad. It was nothing extravagant but the meat was nicely seasoned. They are still working out the kinks with the service. The place wasn't super busy and it was 10 minutes before anyone came to our table. I had to stare down one of the waiters. Troy came to our rescue, although it wasn't his section. He was super cool and genuine. I would definitely want him as a waiter again. Our food took an extremely long time to come out. He told us later that it was because they brought it to the wrong table and had to re-make it. I'll return for the delicious burgers and to try a few craft beers. I hope that they perfect their service soon because I truly enjoyed the food. HAPPY HOUR: Everyday 2-6pm. Drink specials, including $2 off all beer. Appetizer discounts.

One of the better burgers in the area. My wife and I both got the "Cowboy Burger" and both were cooked right and everything about it was tasty. The sweet potato fries are some of the better versions and the honey drizzle was a nice twist. I got the regular fries and enjoyed them too. The atmosphere was really set up nice and they have a heated open patio too. ** edit** quickly resolved bar issue, great customer service response.

Eureka vacuum!!! I was right, there was or still is a vacuum by that name (confirmed by a private source, not verified via google)!! So no, I don't automatically get images of burgers, truffle fries, corn dog poppers, riblets, whiskey sour and beer in my head (images appeared once they brought out our order), especially when I've never heard of this chain before. But from the list of locations on their website, they've been around. Seasoned in the industry yet still new to HB, 1 week exactly, as our server enlightened us. (3/6) I got there before my party of 2 and took the liberty of ordering a few eye popping items from the HH menu and a drink, that's right the whiskey sour. Whiskey sour wasn't on the HH menu but that's what I wanted. The jalapeño burger wasn't either but we had to try a burger. Once my party patron arrived and realized all that I had ordered, I was forbidden from viewing the menu after that point. Time to sum things up since this is getting too long ... Loved the whiskey sour, loved the corn dog poppers, truffle fries need work -mushy and under seasoned, riblets were under seasoned as well. Loved the honey glazed sweet potato fries that came with the jalapeño burger. The jalapeño burger would've been great except it was well done when we asked for medium-medium rare. We let the server know and she apologized and offered to redo it. Then the manager came out, apologized, gave us his card and said he'd comp the burger. Good job handling the situation. I was teetering between 3-4 stars but bc of the service, they get 4. It's their first week so it's understandable there's a few kinks they still need to work out so we'll give them some slack. I'll definitely be back, and I hope by then I'll be blown away by everything I order.

Had the steak salad (not a wrap) and we ordered bruschetta and white truffle cheese fries as appetizers and everything was bomb! My mom and sister liked their burgers. But service was slow on a Saturday afternoon and they weren't really busy so i think they were short staff. But overall great food

This is a new restaurant in Bella Terra. I have been twice now to try it and I love it! The beef is grass fed, organic and hormone free. Once you have had a burger made with grass fed beef, you will never want to go to back to corn fed beef. It is so tender and it just melts. Amazing! When I go, I get the classic burger and add goat cheese! It offers a lot of flavor even though it is simple. I have ordered both the side salad and the french fries. Each are well seasoned and compliment the burger well. I have also tried their corn dog pops and they are a fun, tasty trip. The hot dog in the corn bread is far better than the generic, store-bought hot dog, it is rich and smoky. They have a large selection of craft beers and local wines, I can't wait to continue trying them. You can get a flight of 5 beers for $11 which to me is a great price. Inside has modern wood tables with a gorgeous mural on one side and decorative photography on the other walls. Very chic, but still casual. Service so far has been on point. Attentive staff that are able to make suggestions about their food and drink menus. Happy hour is from 2PM - 6PM. While the burgers are a bit much (generally about $11-13), they are worth it.

Beer fulfills many purposes in life. It marinades meat, makes a great base for batter, and relaxes the mind. What it should not be is a chaser for bad food. The "Osso Buco" Pork Riblets appetizer were a bit of a mystery. They fell off the bone cleanly and easily yet was tough and dry. Yesterday's food perhaps? It was also drenched in some creamy chipotle sauce. It's like trying to mask B.O. with perfume- disgusting and ineffective. The Tortilla Burger was juicy, cooked medium to a pink center as requested. It was wrapped in a warm, soft flour tortilla, and stuffed with guacamole, jalepenos, cheese, onions, etc. It was a succulent, satisfying burger. The french fries were sadly soggy, suffering from the typical "oil not hot enough" syndrome. The portion was abundant but not worth digging into. The servers were green but friendly. They came by a couple times to ask about the food; I lied. They shouldn't have to apologize for what came out of the kitchen. Redemption for Eureka! Discover American Craft came in a bubbly form. My Smog City Groundwork Coffee Porter was beer that tasted like coffee. I couldn't ask for more. Eureka features 20 permanent beer selections as well as 20 rotating choices. Inviting patrons to discover American craft is an alluring concept, but it's discovering what other failed items are on the menu that deters me from a second visit, at least for a while.

I visited this location a few weeks ago! And everything was delicious! My boyfriend had a burger my daughter had the mac and cheese and I had the fish tacos! I was a little surprised how fresh tasting and just over all good they were.. for being a burger place! And for dessert we had the butterscotch pudding that our waiter had recommended and omg! The sea salt went perfect with the taste of the butterscotch! I really like thia place and have told other people since about it!!

Family dinner here last night. Really liked the decor and atmosphere. Menu is small with mostly burgers and sides listed but had something for everyone in our group. First visit. Fantastic. Loved the atmosphere and selection. Especially liked the attention received by our waiter, Kyle. He made sure we were well taken care of and he even brought our 8 month old a "kid snack plate" of sliced watermelon and avocado. She loved that and had a great time. Truffle fries were delicious but not super truffle flavored. The onion rings were amazing and the handmade blue cheese dressing paired perfectly with it. The hand sliced ham sandwich was perfect in temperature, composition, and flavor. I would recommend it. Grandma had the soup of the day (baked potato soup) and loved every bite. The only thing I would change was our table location today. It's chilly outside and we were near the door; grandma got cold. Everything else was lovely.

We went for burgers and ended up full on terrific appetizers, made even more terrific because they're at happy hour prices any day after 2pm. Corn dog balls, chicken tacos, riblets, and shisito peppers were all delicious. For dessert we shared the butterscotch pudding and sweet potato fries. Nice drinks menu too. Tasty Bloody Mary and a nice wine, beer and whiskey selection.

Would've got 4 stars if it weren't done mediocre food. Nothing fancy about the eureka burger. got my son the mac and cheese and it was super creamy.. kind of reminded me of mac and cheese noodles soaked in a heavy cream rather than cheese. Give it up for the fries though. Sebastian our server was great. Always attentive and my cup was never left empty. Like the food at claremont better but the service at huntington was way better.

Love this place! They always have my favorite beer on tap - Hercules DIPA & the service is always great. Kyle was our server last night and his knowledge on the menu food & drink wise was great. He was so friendly, and we enjoyed every minute of our experience with him. We split the Watermelon Salad & the Fig Burger with the most amazing onion rings. Everything was great! If you come here & Kyle is working request him! He's the best

Solid burgers with a great selection of beers and whiskeys. I just heard Eureka opened and just had to try it. I always wanted to check them out when I was out in the Claremont area but never got the chance to until now. Eureka! Truffle Fries - I really liked the creamy havarti truffle sauce and the garnish of fresh green onions. They were really delicious. It's also a pretty big portion considering the burgers also come with fries too. You can always sub the fries out for something else on the burger. They use Kennebec potatoes for their fries. Pearl Street Blues Burger - I'm a big fan of blue cheese burgers and this one really hit the spot. Just the right amount of blue cheese. Tortilla Burger - A burger wrapped in a tortilla. Is this like a burger burrito? I didn't care too much for this one. A little too much tortilla for my liking. The heat on the burger was just right. Honey Cinnamon Sweet Potato Fries - I never had honey on my sweet potato fries but I really liked the extra sweetness. Just a little sticky to handle with your hands but that's what forks are for. They have about 40 beers on tap and half of them are rotating. I had the North Coast Old Rasputin (Nitro). They also specialize in small batch whiskeys. A little too hard for me on a weeknight but I have to try it next time. The service was the only issue for me. The server was pretty quick about picking things up when there was still food on the table. While we were signing the check, there was still a pile of fries in the middle of the table that we were kind of picking on and she came and just pick them up without asking if we were done yet. Probably saved me from the extra calories. Happy hour daily 2-6 with $2 off drafts (non-rotating) and discounts on appetizers. Tuesdays are 1/2 off wines.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. I love the burgers (FRESNO FIG IS THE BEST), the options for fries (SWEET POTATO WITH HONEY MMMMMM), the selection of both cocktails and beers - what is not to love! To be honest, there has not been one time that I have been to this location that I have not been satisfied and I have been here on more than a handful of occasions.=! Just this past weekend I took the In-Laws for a quick bite to eat and chose a whiskey concoction - "The Negroni"- It was SWEET, but not too sweet, and had a definite CINNAMON SPICE that added that perfect KICK!!! I am definitely a fan!

So the food here is pretty darn good. But the service was subpar. The waitress was very attentive for the first 5 minutes or so. I ordered a vodka soda tall which arrived as a regular. Once we got our drinks and told her we needed a couple of minutes to review the menu, she passed about 5 or 6 times during the next 10 minutes and didn't look at us once to see if we were ready. Once she got our order the food came pretty quickly. My order was wrong. I had asked for no bun because I can't do gluten. And there was one. They fixed it pretty quickly but there was no jam on the Fig Burger (which is suppose to have fig jam). It was also well done when I had asked for medium. Fortunately the burger had really good flavor. I will try this place again but I will make sure I don't get the same waitress.

I tried this place for the first time last week, because I heard they have truffle fries. When you first walk in, it's like wow-beautiful! I noticed a huge wine selection at first view. Because I was ordering to-go, I was led to the bar in the back. They have a full bar with many kinds of beer on tap. The atmosphere was very contemporary, classy but still laid back. The bartender was very busy (it was a Sunday), but still came over right away to take my order. I ordered the "Napa burger" cooked medium, and the "Cheddar truffled fries" (it's an appetizer option) cooked extra crispy. The food didn't take very long to cook. I think I waited 15 minutes, which isn't bad on a weekend and when the place is near packed. I didn't know and wish I was told that the burger already came with fries. I don't know if I could've opted to upgrade the existing fires. Anyway, I like that the fries were in it's own pouch, the burger came in its own container, the cheesy-garlic-truffle sauce was packed in a soup container, while the fires were in its own container as well. I will admit their food is a bit pricey, BUT after tasting the food (for my first time), I am a huge fan! The burger was cooked perfectly. Very juicy and tasty. It had roasted Roma tomatoes, pesto aioli, Havarti cheese, pancetta, and arugula. Mouth-watering, I know! This comes with fries, but not just ordinary fires, but probably could be considered a top 10 kinda fry! The "Truffle cheddar fries", were lick-your-fingers-after each bite-delicious! hehe They tasted so good to-go, I can only imagine how much more tastier they are, if you eat them there. The sauce tasted exactly how they are named. I shouldn't have to describe it ....just go there and order them! The food is amazing. The service is awesome. For my order, I believe I paid around $23, including tax. The burger portion isn't small, but the order with the burger and fries could definitely be two meals for me. Looking forward to the new restaurant opening in Concord, Ca soon! That location is a long ways from me, but because I'm a fan, I would love to go, see, and eat!

I was so excited when this place first open couldn't wait to try it but....ehh its nothing special there are two better burger places within walking distance of this place. (Grinderz and Islands) this is just trendy and overpriced. Do yourself a favor and walk by this place and walk into Solitas, seriously SO MUCH BETTER. That being said I will try it one more time because I see some 5 star reviews on here that make me question everything...maybe ill try something different and maybe my server won't be so forgettable.

Nice sitting outside on the patio, but there's a scent of gas emanating from the fireplace. We got hella food: bone marrow burger (salty but good), fries with cheese sauce and bacon and onions (YES), steamed clams, onion rings (four large overpriced ones), shisheto peppers (good)... oh, and a beer, some microbrew ale that we good and only three bucks.

Still amazing! We are regulars at Eureka now. We always get a Fresno Fig burger because it is amazing. Fig butter mixes with goat cheese and bacon and all the flavors are just perfect together. Great quality in the ingredients and lots of food love in the recipes. The general manager goes out of her way to make sure that we enjoy our meal every time. Thanks Bunny! This time we tried the nachos - awesome! - and the riblets. The sauce on the riblets was like a hot wings sauce - I loved it but my wife thought it was good but not great. Overall - great meal, great service, great atmosphere, great location. Love it!

WILL COME BACK SOLELY BECAUSE OUR HAPPY HOUR BILL WAS $31, THEY HAVE GREAT CHEAP IPA CHOICES AND AT LEAST 15 CRAFT BEERS. Service was SO slow... We weren't greeted within 13 min of sitting down so we had to grab a waiter ourselves. Truffle fries... Taste like Alfredo sauce is all over them and the fries are soggy. Wouldn't get these or recommend them. Fried chicken sliders- put more sauce on them. Sweet potato fries- they put cinnamon and sugar on them and that was delicious. I will be making these at home. House salad was yummy with feta, dried cran or raspberries, onions and your choice of dressing (Happy hour price $3)

This is a chill place to come for happy hour. They have various selections of appetizers that are good paired with beers and their burgers are not bad either. My most FAVORITE thing here is the whiskey sour, just the right hint of manliness, but not too girly. :) I've gotten the Fresno Fig burger a handful of times and I love it, but then maybe I am bias because the burger contains goat cheese and I am such a goat cheese lover. For the side of fries, you should ask them for their truffle sauce which is amazeballs. So why 3 stars you ask? Their service SUCKS! They are extremely nice when they are actually at your table, but they are not very attentive otherwise. Every single time I am here I have to flag down the server everytime I need something: the check.. more water.. to-go box, etc. Once we came in and had to wait 5 minutes before anyone even came to the front desk to acknowledge us. Ugh. Hopefully this changes otherwise they will be losing a customer.

The burgers were rather disappointing! Called a medium rare but the buns are all soggy, excuse was medium rare have reduced tge juice so i should expect soggy buns. never gonna return to this place. Tasteless patty, minced lettuc falling apart, rotten tomatoes and of course soggy buns.

I went to this place twice this past weekend....needless to say, my new favorite burger place! It's on the pricy side but you get what you pay for basically! Beers are great as well, I ordered the sampler and our waitress was very helpful on suggesting beers etc. My go to burger is the Catalina Bison Burger! Amazing!!!! Fries are great too!!! Obviously I'll be back!

Did not have a good experience with the food at this restaurant. Went here with my coworker after work. We shared the corn dog appetizer. She had the jalapeño burger with fries and I had the fried chicken sliders with fries. The corn dog appetizers were ok. They looked cute, but flavor wise they were just ok. My fried chicken sliders were two small fried chicken pieces in a small mushy roll. It lacked flavor. I wanted to add salt to it or dip the entire thing in ranch just to get some flavor to it. The fries were not crispy. They were kind of limp and very light in color. Maybe they needed to be fried a little longer. While driving home from eating here, I started getting a headache and wanted to throw up. My friend however, had it worse. She told me the next day that while driving home, after eating at the restaurant, she had to pull over and throw up. Base on all this, I will definitely not be back.

Great chicken tacos and drinks! Service was meh we had and asian girl and we told her didn't like our pulled pork sandwich because it was dry and cold. Instead of apologizing and offering to get us something else she didn't really say anything, so we just asked for sauce. I was also surprised when she said the manager would need to come look at my passport, when he came to our table he just looked at my passport and left. No hi how are you or how was your meal....strange

The husband and I promised to keep this gem to ourselves. We swore we wouldnt take our girls here..worried they may ruin our favorite place.Tonight was special though. The oldest got her 1st college acceptance letter. UC DAVIS!! She asked to go to Eureka...so we did it! They loved it and we had a great night. I tried the jalapeno egg turkey burger..as per usual another delish meal. I love the side salad with balsamic. Husband had the usual and girls had original burgers. All in all everyone happy...which is hard to do. Eureka nailed it again. They NEVER disappoint.

This place is a hidden gem in Bella Terra. Over by the Old Navy under the apartments, so it's not in the madness mix so it's nice and quiet. Awesome ambiance, a bunch of tap beer and good food. Reasonably priced and something for everyone. Besides the tequila, everything is grown in the USA. We will definitely be back, just wish there was one closer because it would probably be our new local hangout.

Food is ok. Drink selection is pretty good. Pappy Van Winkle is always available $45 for 12 year shot (or was it 10 years?). One day will try the 20 years $85 for a shot

Lots of house made food not all the frozen processed crap! This place has exceptional customer service I had a problem with my beer and they fixed it and comped my beer! totally unexpected. Nachos with house made chips, corn dogs with sausage and the osobuco ribblets although a bit dry were super tasty love this place.

Eureka is good, but not as good as other burger places in their price range. I went here with my family and their friends. I was able to try several items. I ordered the Bone Marrow Burger. I love the concept. It was a burger topped with Bone Marrow Butter. I decided to get mine Naked (without buns) and with the Honey Cinnamon Sweet Potato Fries in place of the regular fries. Everything smelled delicious. They cooked my burger Medium Rare like I asked. I personally prefer the meat patty at Grill 'em All and Slater's 50/50. The bone marrow was good and interesting, but I don't know if the burger overall is worth the $16 price tag. The Honey Cinnamon Sweet Potato Fries smelled divine, but tasted better with a touch of ketchup. My first bite had a slight burnt flavor to it, which was weird, because they were not crispy. I also tried my husbands Bison Burger and Panko Onion Rings. His Bison Burger was tasty. The condiments compliment the burger. The bison meat itself may not be for everyone. It is very pungent. His Onion Rings were huge! We called them Onion Bracelets. There were only three per order, though. We also got wings and nachos for the table. The wings were subpar. The sauces were meh, and the veggie sticks didn't look fresh. The Nacho Average Nachos were pretty good, but I've had more stand out nachos at other American sit down restaurants before. I like how it comes with huge chunks of medium rare steak. You could taste the butter the steak was cooked it. Service wise, I was surprised by how mediocre the service was at a relatively slow time in the evening. At around 8, the restaurant was quieting down, and the waitresses straight out ignored my hand being raised for a full minute. She walked by our long table in the center of the restaurant without looking up at all. By the time I got my ketchup, my husband was already done with his meal. I somewhat expect mediocre service at low end restaurants or during peak time, or if they seem understaffed, but this was not the case. It also took a long time for them to refill our waters, as well.

So happy that a Eureka! Burger opened up just down the street from me. I can never get enough of good happy hours, good beers on tap, and a place that knows how to make a whiskey sour. For some odd reason, I only find myself here for drinks or snacks but never food. I have never tried their burgers so I got no reviews there. I did try their lollipop corn dogs, which are amazing after a night of drinking. I love their selection of beer on tap, and especially love their whiskey mixes. I still haven't found a place that perfects their whiskey sour as much as Eureka. I highly, highly recommend the whiskey sour to anyone; whether you're a macho guy who don't like mixes or a girl who can only drink vodka with cranberry juice, whiskey sour is the way to go. It's manly enough because of the whiskey and it's sweet enough for those who think alcohol tastes gross. I have to also mention the daily events that they have going on each day. I've been to their "steal a glass" Wednesday where you buy their beer of the day, and you get to keep the glass. The glass will have their beer of the day's logo of course. I'm trying to make it a goal to steal as many glasses as I can so we will see how my collection go.

Happy hour? Amazing. Service? Poor. Bloody Mary? Terrible. ): Came here at a friend's recommendation and I was pretty impressed by their HH menu and prices. Although they're known for their burgers, we ordered off the HH menu and I was rather pleased with the taste and quality of their food. We got the truffle fries (yum), riblets (worth it), bruschetta (came with four instead of five as listed), and corn dogs (also yum). To be honest, I didn't even know who our waiter/server was, or if we even had one. We had two or three guys stop by about once each and it was a slow Sunday afternoon. Maybe it was because there were more people seated outside and we were inside? Anyway, we had to flag people down to order food and even refill water. At the server (or whoever)'s recommendation, I ordered the Bloody Mary. Based off their not-so-great service, I didn't even bother letting them know that the Bloody Mary was terrible. Even my friend (who did warn me, to be fair, that they were usually a hit or miss), said it looked like they only gave me half a bacon and that it was, indeed, a 'miss' day for the beverage. They had an extensive beer selection and I will (most likely) be back, if only for their HH and in hopes of better service.

Food ====== $10 Steamers $4 Truffle Fries +$2? Bacon $5.95 Alfredo Macaroni ~$5 Corn Dog Lollipops ~$5 Chicken Tacos ~$8 Riblets ~$5 Bruschetta ~$5 FUGU Vodka At happy hour prices, there's more to like? or try at least; we kind of went crazy with the appetizers. The clear winners of the day were steamers, truffle fries, and alfredo macaroni. The waitress convinced us that the truffle fries were transformed with the addition of bacon, so we hopped on board. Personally, the fries and the cream were heavy enough that I might've preferred the addition of a fresh item, like avocado, tomatoes, or onions. But I think I was just feeling fresca, which is why I ordered the bruschetta, which was standard enough; heavy on the vinaigrette. The taste of the macaroni was phenom; the size was pretty darn small though, but fair, considering the price. Better version to commit to a visit to the Yardhouse. Following as a fair contender were the chicken tacos. Two to a plate on those authentic (big -ISH here) street taco sized tortillas, shredded chicken that was light on the palate. Because the food here does tend on the heavy side, my senses might have been seeking anything light to enjoy. The chilled fugu vodka was nice, although much nicer for me once I got a little orange juice on the side as a chaser. Water just wasn't cutting it. Literally. Nothing I'd order again, although the spiced rum sounded tasty, the special is $2 off the plain hard liquors (a mixer is obliged), wine, and beer... if I was a beer aficionado, I would be tempted to come back, otherwise, no. Decor ====== Sat outdoors this time. The wide triple-door-width door connecting to the inside was cool, giving a feeling of a converted car garage. The view included Solitas, which always seems busy, so I would suggest giving them a shot. View also includes the fire pits and a bit of the fountain. Overall, nice, and I saw space heaters so in the winter, looks like it'll keep warm. Extra!! ======= - Tuesdays: 50% off wine

Eureka! I have found it.. found it to be fun and entertaining. Food is delicious and drinks are a plenty. I only had one this time around, but have been intrigued to come back for more.. At this HB loc its very trendy with the outdoor patio and the nice inside decor. Service here was decent for the night. Our server was very funny and efficient with our order and was helpful with recommendations. I wish I had remembered his name, but I remembered his glasses though. Good Job on service dude! Thank you! :-) Went with the Napa burger for my first time - delish! A+ on flavor and juiciness! The burgers here are awesome. At least what I had was ahhh-some! Went with the Napa Burger. My brother had the Jalapeno Burger which he claimed to be: OUTRAGEOUSLY GOOD Perks: Drinks galore from Beer to Whiskey (which they're known for) - this loc has plenty of outdoor seating. Awesome TIP(S): The Lollipop Corn dog appetizer is worth a try! Also, if you have a sweet tooth after all this grub, go for double the desserts with the Butterscotch Rum Pudding and the Espresso Souffle - ooooooooh eee yummmmmmmmmmmmzzzzz. OverALL: Strike it rich! Worth a try if you are a whiskey and/or burger lover! Yipppeee!!

We really had a nice lunch here. It was pretty full shortly before 12 already but we still got a good table. Service is good, the food comes out fast as well. I think prices are a bit steep, but again worth it. Not enough to have all the time but the onion rings are out of this world good as worth the upcharge of $1.25. Though you only get 3, yes 3 rings, but each was the best I've ever had. The fries also good, I was tempted by the truffle fires but not for $8 since the portion was small, same goes for all the other apps, great choices but at $8-12 each not worth it. I had the veggie burger, my husband the jalapeno egg and my son the cowboy, they each loved them as well. Even not being a lover of meat I tried the burgers and liked them as well, they were cooked perfectly. Great place, glad we came.

A group of us went here for dinner to check it out. We got a few beers, an old fashion, and a wine. All the drinks were good. I ordered the Steamers (clams), the bruschetta, and the truffle fries. All were great! I'll totally be craving the steamers. My fiancé got a blue cheese burger, he said it was really good. My friends got another burger, the Alfredo mac-n-cheese, and the corn dogs. The Alfredo was bland, and while the blue cheese burger was cooked just right, the Cowboy burger was ordered "med-rare", it came out super well done. I felt bad for my friend. They said the corn dogs were good. The service was so slow though, and not that great. He accidentally refilled my friends lemonade twice with water because he kept forgetting.. I don't want to fully blame the server though...he seemed so preoccupied with a group/family/table in the middle. Their kids were literally running around the table chasing each other! A manager should have stepped in and told the table to maybe parent their terrible children. They knocked over a chair twice, and wouldn't stop yelling and screaming. I feel bad for the server. Anybody else would say, "that was bad service", and then tip crappy. It's unfair that just because the management didn't step in, he was forced to spread himself thin. I'll come in again, I'm sure, but, hopefully the management is a little better.

Eureka Burger is phenomenal! We were there after church this afternoon, and it was not crowded at all. We had the truffle cheese fries, to start, and burgers all around. Not only was the atmosphere great, but the service was impeccable! My husband had the sweet potato fries with honey + cinnamon with his meal, and that just topped off our amazing lunch! If you haven't visited a Eureka location, I HIGHLY recommend you check out the Huntington location @ Bella Terra!

This place used to be cool and the food is good. I only have two stars on the review due to service. The whole "make them wait even when we have ample empty tables so we can appear trendy" is too pretentious and transparent. I will give all restaurants that practice this bad reviews.

I didn't know exactly where Eureka was located but we knew it was at the Bella Terra so we parked by the movie theater. We went looking for it only to find out we parked on the wrong side because it was near the Goldenwest side of Bella Terra. Anyway, the ambiance is really chill, they even have a fireplace at the outside seating area. Everything looks really good and I ended up getting a burger with a fig sauce or something like that. Anyway, long story short, the burgers looked amazing but they don't taste like how they look. I mean, they weren't bad but I expected a lot more.

Rating: 3.5 - 4 stars $$+ Average for 2: $50+ Food was good, but not amazing for the price. They have vegan & GF options. Location is nice next to the fountain however parking on busy days can be tricky. Service was awesome and decor was top notch.

Not as good as the location in Claremont, but super close! I'm a huge fan of their happy hour and a huge fan of their Jalapeño Egg and their Original Burger. Their patties are definitely nicely seasoned and are always accurately cooked to your preference! The burgers here in the HB location just didn't have that extra OOMPH that the Claremont location has...but it might just be me. The Nacho Average Nachos are...above average. I don't know....after pigging out on the super fries you get at Molca Salsa or any Alberto's...your nacho standards kinda go through the roof! The best thing about this place is the ambiance and the service. Servers here are very nice, attentive, and accommodating. The outdoor patio parallels a small waterfall which is pretty chill. Great place to swing by and grab lunch, or watch a game!

Went for dinner and ordered the jalapeño burger and chicken tacos. The burger was good, had a fried egg on it and it was yummy. Chicken taco are on the appetizers section of menu abd was awesome. So good and tasty. I will be getting the tacos again for sure. Onion rings were also ordered and we're the bomb. I didn't drink. BuT the bar had some bottles of bourbon that are hard and rare to find so I think the bar is pretty nice. All and all 3 1/2 stars.

Yummy food. Awesome beer selection. And great service. What more could you ask for in a restaurant. This was my first time dinning at Eureka and I have a great experience. I tried a few of the beers on tap and they were exceptionally good. The food was also very unique and tasty. Free range chicken with the roasted tomato on top was the perfect combination! I recommend this place for a casual date night or even a nice outing with the family. It's got great atmosphere and friendly staff!

Eureka just missed the mark for me, so my overall experience is just 3 stars. My first visit was this past Friday with the fellas. Just in case for anyone who isn't aware where the restaurant is at, it's located by the new luxury apartments, by King's Fish House & Burlington Coat Factory. I had the pleasure of driving from Costco towards the movie theater side. I'd say best parking is up front (90 minute curbside) or in the structure. I personally enjoyed in the atmosphere of Eureka! It's spacious, many sitting options, outside patio & friendly service. Friday night I shared a bottle of wine with a friend - Big Guy, a red blend ($26). It was a pretty good but not fond of the $10 corkage fee. If this review was only for Friday, I'd give it 4 stars but sadly I came on Sunday night & probably should of stayed away. Since I had a great experience Friday night, I said why not have dinner with a friend on Sunday night. It wasn't busy, so there was plenty of tables both inside & outside available. It was a bit chilly, so I grab a table inside. The server took some time to greet my friend & I to grab our drinks. Anyways, I had a class of wine (ah I forget but it a red wine @ $11 per glass). I actually liked it better than the Big Guy, but sadly I forgot the name. So on to what we ordered for dinner - Appetizer: *Steamer (clams with ciabatta). At $14 for this dish, it wasn't great but not horrible. It was overpriced, so I'd have to pass for my future visits. Not to be too picky, but the ciabatta was burnt, so it disguised the flavor of the dish. Entrees: *Pan Seared Salmon served with arugula & veggies. This was my friend's choice and sadly she was disappointed with it. She described her dish as plain and not unique. The waitress said it is a house favorite. Eh. *Catalina Bison Burger served with fries. My friends from Friday night recommended a burger, so I had to go with a burger. I chose the wrong burger, should of went with the Jalapeno Egg Burger. The Bison burger was tender & had flavor but just on the sweet side for me. Fries were nothing special, kinda soggy. Even though my Sunday experience wasn't great, I enjoy the atmosphere of this restaurant. I probably won't grab a table and try to enjoy a decent meal here, but rather go to the bar with some friends. Maybe my next visit will be more enjoyable. I'll have to wait & see.

I took my Daughter here for lunch today and it was AHHHmazing.. We started with the bruschetta. it was the best we've ever had and we're "schetta' snobs. The kiddo had the Fig burger and I had the traditional and both were perfection. A very nice touch was the manager came over and introduced herself (I foget her name, but she was a very pretty blonde) to check on us and in chatting she told us about the brunch service they are starting on weekends. If brunch is anything like todays lunch, we'll be regulars...

Disappointing service the last few trips has made me no longer a regular which is really sad because I live literally upstairs from this place. The most notable bad experience came a few weeks ago when I came here with a group of friends for Happy Hour. My friends got here first and I came about 15-20 minutes after they arrived. I was surprised to see they hadn't ordered yet, but then they told me that they hadn't even been greeted yet which I found to be so ridiculous that I went over to the hostess to let her know. I of course expected her to go get a server immediately but instead watched in disbelief as she just stood there and did nothing. We're were just about to leave when a server finally comes over and asks if we'd been helped. We were seated on the patio so there were bugs outside. A bug flew into my beer and I had to flag down a server to let him know. He got me a new one only to have the same thing happen again. The second time, he wanted to see it as if I had made up the whole thing and was trying to get free drinks. I overheard him tell another server that I "claimed" a bug flew into my drink. I told him I didn't even want another one and the manager later came out to say they would comp my drink. It was still on there when the bill came out. The time before this I came to the bar with some friends and asked for recommendations on whiskey. The bartender poured us what he said was amazing. I'll admit it was amazing but the $75 a shot price tag wasn't (it was Pappy Van Winkle 23 for those wondering) and we ordered 3 of them. We were not expecting that when the bill came out. We probably should have asked but I would think when you're selling something that expensive, you'd give the customer a heads up. Luckily I didn't pay for that round, but it just gives you an idea of the service of this place.

When I originally came here I wasn't really fond of the place. I live close by and my friends liked it so I came with them a few times. I found that the employees are really nice and found a few things on the menu that I really really like. The nachos are . The kids chicken tenders and the sweet potato fries are really good!

Didn't care for the drinks and the service. My party and I were shown to our and it took about 20 mins for someone to notice us. What pissed me off was that another party sat next to my table and a freaking waiter services them like instantly! Service was just so slow. I rather go to SOLITA next door! Better service and food! Lake, will definitely make your experience worth the trip.

Excellent food and drinks!!! Attended the opening with friends and had an opportunity to try quite a few dishes and drinks: Food: Nachos, corn dogs, truffle fries, short ribs appetizer, cowboy burger, blue cheese burger, sweet potato fries, onion rings. Drinks: Greyhound, whiskey sour, IPA All of the food and drinks we had were great however the real crowd pleaser were the short rib app., Truffle fries and the cowboy burger! Also the whiskey sour was my favorite and I almost never drink whiskey but couldn't help notice so many others enjoy this drink..You will not be disappointed with any of these choices. Also try the beer flights, according to my Hubby the beer selection was "on point"! Wonderful atmosphere with live music and upbeat service!! Perfect addition to OC!

I'll start with the fact I did NOT order a burger (I don't eat meat) and therefore may not have had the true "Eureka experience" but regardless, I don't think I'll be going back. Eureka earned stars for the wonderful ambiance - very cool lighting & decor, and you can really tell they appreciate their whiskey and beer here! We also loved our truffle fries, they were pretty killer. My family loved their burgers - my mom in particular who had the Fresno fig burger (fig marmalade, goat cheese, arugula, bacon). Maybe it's just because they're relatively new, but too many little things went wrong tonight! Our waitress forgot about us at one point, and then when I tried to switch out the side salad on a dish to a different salad, I was told it's not allowed because the salad is pre-made. ...so what? What if I had been allergic to the ingredients but still wanted the main dish? So I ordered the fish tacos, which were fine but the avocado aioli was left out so they were dry. Another weird thing was that a member of my party asked to be recommended a dark beer, which ended up not being dark at all (he still enjoyed it though). I see the potential and I understand the concept, we just didn't have a perfect experience tonight.

We come in about once a week and this week we were greeted by Shayna. I have to say she is the best I have waitress I have come along in a very long time. She was friendly and she offered me to sample some beers as they were out of what I wanted. My wife Frances was so impressed my her she said you need to do a Yelp review and I said absolutely! The management team should be extremely happy to have Shayna as she is awesome. Now I just need to know her work schedule so I can alway ask for her. Shayna - Your the best!!! I had the Pearl Street Blue Burger. The bottom bun was so soggy that it fell apart the minute I touched it. Everything from the burger to the original fries had a bitter after taste. The onion rings were so big! I understand that it looks great in pictures but it was bland and oily. My sister and I spitted our burgers to be able to try two different types. However, they tasted the same: soggy and bitter. When I told our waitress about the soggy buns, she explained that it is normal to have soggy buns when you ordered medium rare. Feeling hopeless, I made no further comment. The manager pleasantly took the burgers off of our bills. I was even more unhappy. I did not complain to get a blunt and idiotic explanation and a free meal. Not to mention the fact that we were stuffed into the corner table when the whole restaurant was nearly empty. Unpleasant experience overall. I recommend you drive the extra mile to go to their location in Irvine if you really want to try their soggy buns.

Came in for a drink and appetizer ( the brushetta is my favorite) and ended up having a jalapeño egg burger and ended with the apple crisp, thanks to Jackson T! He was patient, attentive and had great reccomendations! I will definitely be coming back!

Small portions fish tacos had more cabbage than fish. The hamburger was described as " a hearty portion" NOT! And asked for burger medium rare. You guessed it - well done. If you want to be a poser and be seen this is the place for you!! Have fun

First and foremost we will come again. We ht this place on Friday evening about 7, so we kind of set ourselves up for some failure. I put my name on the list for patio seating and in 10 minutes I got a text saying "get your buns in here". All good. Inside is a bit noisy and the fountain outside is a nice backdrop for the patio. Amazing selection of wiskey's and craft beers. Only a few wines by the glass. Next time I go I will do a wiskey flight and Uber home. Waitresses during our visit were polite but obviously stretched to there limit, and this is where we had some trouble. Just getting there attention was a challange. My woman's old fashion sat at the bar for 15 minutes before I brought it to our waitresses attention. Food wise, my woman had the Fig Burger and raved about it. I had the fish taco appetizer and a Ceasar Salad. The tacos we're yummy and really made a nice small meal. The Ceaser Salad was quite heavy on garlic and I got NO lovin after dinner due to garlic breath. I even scoped. So they lost a star over that. Lesson learned! Overall we spent $65 with a glass of wine and old fashion, which although high, is acceptable.

So disappointed! My husband and I have been coming here since they opened, recently we noticed a few changes in the their food. Unfortunately not for the better. Not sure if management/owners has changed in the last 5 months but that is about the time we started to notice the difference. Their onion rings were FANTASTIC when they first opened, now they come out soggy and the batter doesn't even stick to the onions, burgers seem to have shrunk in size (luckily taste is still there), fries are not fresh, and just overall quality is gone. If looking for a good burger try G-burger in fountain valley.

I have to say Claremont eureka has really set the bar! Coming from being a regular at this location for 3 years and loving it so much when I'm near other locations I try check them out. I have to say I'm suuuuper disappointed! So many things to comment on 1st walking into this location there was no one to greet us so we decided to just go straight to the bar. There was just everything that was wrong after we sat. Bartenders (2) where to busy making up drinkings and trying to come up with there own ideas that they ignored us we had to keep asking for things like table settings n water and the check. Along with them making up all these random drinks all waitresses and manager on duty where straw testing them and way more into there own conversations rather than providing customer service. Will not be back. Only positive thing to say location is the largest out of 4 I've been to has a nice ambiance decor.

This place is AMAZING! I have been here several time and their staff is always the right amount of witty and friendly! Everything I have always ordered is beyond delicious! I would go on and one but it would start to get rather repetitive so I will just say try anything and everything off the menu - you wont be disappointed! I highly recommend it!

"Hoppy Hour" here is one the greatest I've been to! Not only do they have great portions for the food selection but the variety of beer & wine with deals was amazing! Ended up getting lost trying to find this spot. It's located right across the Burlington Coat Factory right next to the little fountain and park area in Bella terra. There wasn't much of a crowd maybe because it was Taco Tuesday? I don't know but there was plenty of seating inside, at the bar and also outside. We ordered Truffle Fries to start and boy was that a big order of fries, big enough for 3 or more. We ended up adding some pepper to it but it was delicious! After looking over the menu we ended up ordering 2 beers: St. Archer's Pale Ale for me & the Hercules for the bf. We also ordered the corn dogs, the Riblets and the steamers! I could not resist getting seafood and it was perfect! The mini corn dogs were delicious, I didn't want to share them! It came with 3 dipping sauces: ketchup, honey mustard and some ranch type sauce. The Riblets were okay, the amount of it made up for the sauce. I didn't really like the marinade of it. The steamers was perfect! It was a bit salty otherwise it was cooked perfectly. I would totally go here again for the hoppy hour and also to try that bison burger! *sidenote: wish the waitress would ask if we were done with our plates before clearing it. I was still working on my clams that I was saving for my last epic bite! :(

Came here for my birthday with my girlfriends and I absolutely love it! The waitress here were so kind, everything was on point! Love love the cheese fries! And their dessert. Can't go wrong with chocolate and ice cream! I had the best birthday dinner ever! I will be coming back real soon for happy hour!!!

For some strange reason, I keep going back to this restaurant... The service for the most part is not very satisfying, the staff has a good attitude, but in the end the execution is rather poor. Don't expect great service, I have had many an empty drink sitting on the bar before I can order another round, many dirty dishes that sit, dirty glasses. I guess you can't always expect full service from a beautiful woman. The food is excellent and well priced. I have had many orders that were forgotten as well as delivered without the ingredients listed on the menu. On my most recent visit: (1) I was sitting under a dripping vent and had to discover this myself and move to another table. (2) My salad I ordered came without the chicken breast. (3) I had to request a fork (4) The bill had an error in it (about $12) Most other places, I would sever the relationship. but for some strange reason, love is blind when it comes to Eureka.

This place is awesome. The happy hour here can't be beat. Good choice of craft beers with rotating taps. The Osso Bucco riblets are must for everyone to try. My glass was never empty which is always important when you are at a bar.

A friend of mine works here and my fiancé and I are finally trying it out. I ordered the fish taco appetizer and he got the chicken saltimbucco. The fish tacos were ok. I thought they were a little bland. It could have used more sauce or flavor in general. I also think they should be called cabbage tacos because each taco had about 5-6 tiny squares of fish and it was stuffed with cabbage. The fish seemed more like a garnish than the main part of the taco. It was sprinkled on top and there was more mango salsa than fish. So pretty disappointed. I probably won't order those tacos again. The chicken saltimbucco was tasty as were the onion rings. Service was good. There was one server that stood at a table talking for like 20 minutes but she wasn't our server so I didn't really care. But having been in the restaurant business for a very long time in the past, that wouldn't of been acceptable. Overall, I wasn't wholly disappointed and would come back because they have happy hour on the weekends from 2-6 pm and the beers are reasonably priced for my man. In addition, I want to try some other things on the menu. It has a good feel to the restaurant minus the little black flies that were hovering over my food. I killed 3 but it would be expected considering the interior is wide open to the outside with all their doors open. I liked the fresh air as it was a nice day out. I'm thinking my next review of this place will improve as long as I don't get the fish taco appetizer.

If you like a large menu of craft beers, this is a great place for a drink. The menu of burgers looks fine, but don't expect any gastopub-esk food here. Is a shame. There is nothing that jumps out at you to try. Came back as the beer was cool during the last visit, but the food is forgettable unfortunately. Decent ambiance. Good for groups. Ask for the rotating beer list!! There are 20+ craft drafts hiding from visitors.

I will premise my review with the food and ambiance were great. The service was really poor. I liked the atmosphere here, seems like the next great place to meet up with friends and have some good food, libation and chat. The front manager there did comp us a gift card for such poor service and even said they were understaffed that night. It was clear from the get go, since we had to move our food from the end bar, to our table. Then when we realized it was too noisy when you have kids. We moved outside. A much better place to be when and if you go with kids. Again, the manager was totally cool and did the right thing with respect to comping some green back at us. I hope to go back there and re-rate higher. Again the place does have the right look, feel and the food was great. Lets hope the next visit hits me in the gut like a good piece of mom's cheesecake.

Definitely a bit torn about this place. We visited on a Friday night, which is a bit of a no-no for me. I don't like visiting bars or any big restaurants on a Friday night because that's when EVERYONE is out celebrating the end of their work-week and, consequently, it is one of the busiest times for any restaurant that is open. The bf wanted to try this place out, as he heard good things about it. I tagged along, and didn't think anything about it, and, as I'm not picky, I knew I would find something to eat without too many problems. We walked in, was asked for any seating preference, said "no", and we were happily seated outside with our menus. Hunter was our server, he came by, got our drink order (two waters), got our appetizer order (truffle fries), and left. He swiftly came back with our drinks and, around 5-8 minutes later, we got our truffle fries. We were able to order our entrees (bf got the fish tacos, while I got the jalapeno egg burger), and then we munched on our truffle fries. Now, the bf had ordered the truffle fries because I told him, "anything you want, hon" for the appetizer. Unfortunately, he didn't read the description too carefully. The truffle fries are seasoned with a truffle SAUCE, not a truffle oil. In the beginning, the fries weren't too bad as there was some crisp and crunch, but, as time worn on, the fries got pretty soggy with the amount of heat and the sauce. Still edible, but we probably wouldn't order it again. Once again, our fault, not the restaurant's. I think around this time, Hunter went on break, and told the tables around us (but not our own table) that he was going on break. Not a big deal, but, I was a bit oblivious, while the bf was aware of the change in staff , but didn't say anything. We got our entrees around 10-15 minutes after that. Because of the good amount of truffle fries that we had as an appetizer, the bf could only finish one fish taco, while I finished only half of my burger before we were stuffed. So, we were finished with dinner after around 5-10 minutes. And then the wait began. A long wait. In fact, no one came by to our table at all. I had to get the attention of other servers that weren't serving our table to get some help. Now, don't get me wrong, EVERYONE WAS REALLY AWESOME. They were super-polite, they were professional in their work, and they got their shit done. What was unfortunate was that there was a good 3-4 tables that was in the same situation as us in the patio area, where we either wanted a refill in our drinks, needed to order something, needed to pay something, or, honestly, wanted to get the fuck out, but we couldn't because we didn't get our check. We were the latter. We tried to wait politely, and I know everyone was busy, but, after 20 minutes of it, I had to just stop someone to get our check. She was really nice about it, and didn't give me attitude. She was able to get my check for me. Unfortunately, we had to wait another 10 minutes for my credit card to get processed because, once again, no one would come by our table. I'm not sure, but maybe we were in the Bermuda Triangle of the restaurant? :/ Anyways, we ended up walking up to the receptionist because we really didn't want to wait any longer for an employee, as we felt 30 minutes was ample time to get us our check and run our check. We've both been through restaurant occupations, so we didn't want to make a fuss, but we really had to go. Unfortunately, the workstation in the front wasn't working well, but the employee in the front went to the very back to get our check processed. While we waited for the check to get promised, at least 3-4 different employees asked if we needed help. So, props to them for doing their jobs and making sure the customer was cared for. I guess the employee that was processing our check also called the manager, who apologized profusely and offered a gift card for us to come back, which we refused. Just wanted to say that we understand it's a Friday night, and the staff is busy. It was probably an overlook on their part on where we were sitting (especially if it is the Bermuda Triangle area), but we probably won't come by for a few more months in hopes that everything gets ironed out completely at this newer location. As a note, it was super-good food! The wait was a bit atrocious, but we were being served when our main server was on break. We just hope things get ironed out in the long run... Also, the live band was SUPER LOUD. We couldn't even carry a conversation because we couldn't hear each other....and we were in the patio area....

The burrito lacked meat. Lots of fruit flies. Just plain bland. Nope. Even the atmosphere and people were bland. But, silver lining, bruschetta was good as were the corn dogs.

My husband and I tried this place out the other night and I've been meaning to review it. The atmosphere was veryyyyy hipster chill. All the guys had that Macklemore haircut goin on but it fit the vibe just right. The breeze from the open patio was just perfect and it was set perfectly with the landscaping they have in the patio area. Fire pits I believe, and just a beautiful view of the landscaping. The service was quick and my drink always remained full. Our appetizer came out really quick. We got the Alfredo appetizer and it was just the perfect amount for the two pf us. And it was just packed with flavor and the sauce was buttery perfection. Our main courses came out and I was very surprised by the presentation. Perfectly placed and looked mouthwatering. I ordered the cowboy burger, medium well, with avocado. I highly suggest adding the avocado, it was PERFECT. The burger was perfectly cooked and amazingly juicy. They even make their own beer brewed bbq sauce and house made ketchup. I was kinda skeptical about the ketchup because I've had Crow Burger's house made ketchup on Newport Beach and that was a disappointment. This ketchup. Man, this ketchup tasted like it was straight out of a bottle and I was happy about it too. Haha. My husband got the marrow burger, rare. And his too looked really delicious. He said it was cooked just right but the only complaint was that the bun was kinda soggy. Mainly because of the rare cooked meat. His fault! The French fries were perfectly crisp and our bellies were perfectly satisfied. Long story short, it was the perfect amount of food and the most delicious burgers we've had in a while. Glad it's so close to Home! Go check it out!

I have been to this location a few times. I love the location, Bella Terra, as it is beautiful. I am not a whiskey drinker, so I get craft beer to drink. The bartenders are very helpful when I need make a choice. I have eaten here as well. The hamburgers are delicious. I would definitely recommend the restaurant for someone looking to come for drinks and food on a date or with a group of friends.

Lunch time on a Wednesday - took less then fifteen minutes for our order to arrive. The jalapeño egg burger was delish and so were the fries. I could see why people would say the fries were a little soggy but who knows maybe they like their fries burnt? I did get a side of shoe string onions! Mmm The Eureka wings were okay - I would definitely try something else on their appetizer list. Our server (Jasmine) was great. She was very genuine and personable. Engaged multiple conversations with us. Will definitely return to this location to try other food items! Love the decor and interior of the place. Great addition to Bella Terra!

I really wish I could un-eat what I consumed here! On a budget so I only allow for once a week restaurant visits and unfortunately I chose this place. lets start off with the good: 1 star for awesome decor, ambiance, and outdoor seating and 1 star for the good (but slow) service. I ordered the naked chicken. It was supposed to be chicken wrapped in proscuitto and apparently a layer of cheese. This plate was reminiscent of something from apple bee's and sooooo salty I damaged a kidney. It wasn't even proscuitto, it was aunt bertha's christmas ham from 1997 that was cut too thick. I chose cole slaw as my side and it tasted like microwaved styrofoam. The truffle fries should be called the truffle FRY, its a large plate of fries with enough truffle for one singular fry. My date ordered the jalapeno egg burger. It was soo mediocre (it should be called the jessica biel burger due to its mediocrity) for a place thats reputable for burgers and beer. The onion rings were heavily battered and everything came out to be $45. It wasn't busy (wednesday night) so its not like they had to rush to put out massive orders so I truly do not understand why it has such great yelp ratings. So misleading! Maybe it was just a bad day but I def would not recc to family and friends.

Wow...terrible service. The place was dead (only a few people at the bar) and there was at least 3 employees there. It took almost 10 minutes before we were greeted...I have no idea why neither or the two bar tenders could say, "Hi. We will be with you in a moment." Instead, nothing. Anyway, they had a nice selection of craft beer and a some great happy hour options. We tried a few dishes but that were reasonably good. I really enjoined the corn dog lollipops but struggled to eat them (they were too big for one bite, but would fall off the stick after a bite...idk, why they couldn't rethink the shape/size). Altogether the food was decent but it wasn't quite right...this was a classic case of new chefs trying to be creative before they have mastered the traditional recipe.

I gave this place yet another chance and again they disappointed me. First of all, they promised me a gift card due to my first bad review about them and I never received one and its been a month. This time, food was a little better, chocolate souffle and lollipop dogs were very good, but the nachos and chicken Cesar salad were horrible. Speaking of horrible, service was the worst. My friend ordered a beer, never came. He had to ask for it, then was told there was only one glass full left so my friend decided to share it and asked for an extra glass, the extra glass never came. Then he ordered the "steal the glass" beer. Once again, never came. Luckily they decided to comp him for the beer. On top of that, waitress was barely around and had to ask the hostess for our check. If I even consider coming back here, I'd probably try the Irvine location, maybe they have better service at least. If not, I'd rather order my food to-go at the HB location, if I even get a gift card that they promised.

I had high hopes for Eureka. The Claremont location has been on my bookmark for quite some time. So when the occasion arised to celebrate a friend's bday here, I hurriedly jumped on it. Sadly, my experience was less than average. I was contemplating in between the fig burger and jalapeño burger but opted for something savory and sweet instead. The sweetness from the fig was very subtle. The burger didn't exactly win me over but it wasn't too terrible either. The biggest reason why Eureka have such low rating is due to our service. There was only 7 of us and the service was extremely slow. I felt that anytime we asked for anything the male waiter we had would give us an attitude. The one thing that was so extremely unprofessional was when it was time to bring out the birthday cake we brought, our waiter didn't even take the time to take it out of its bag! He just placed it on the table, while making us do all the work of taking it out awkwardly in front of the birthday boy. The venue is really nice for a burger joint, so I would think they would train their servers on better customer service (obviously not).

Much better service than the last few times I came. We came at 11pm and our server didn't make us feel rush. He's a really cool dude and made us feel welcome. The fries came out a little soggy, but the server gave us a newer and fresher one which was a lot better. The cowboy burger and jalapeño burger were perfectly made. Whisky sour were still delicious. It would be awesome if Eureka had a late happy hour. Oh well. I'll be back again.

I love this place! Will definitely be back. The food was amazing, I got nachos, corn dog bites, and the bison burger. I've never had anything like it the burger had jalapeño jam, which sounds weird bit was far from! Delicious! Meghan our food server was friendly and fast. The Manager Bunny was checking in on us throughout our meal. Amazing service! I definitely recommend this place, not to mention the great prices!

Decent burgers, finger foods and great drinks and beers on tap. It's a nice place when you're in the mood for a good burger and a black butte porter. Also tried the whiskey sour, which was refreshing and not too strong for whiskey. I would say a little on the pricey end for the food though. They have happy hour everyday 2-6pm, and live music thurs night. Also $5 bloody Mary's all day on sat and sun!

  • Ariel T.

Came here for a late lunch with a friend on a Saturday. No wait & happy hour on a Saturday, right on! Sat on the patio which provided a great atmosphere. The delight stopped there. Waitress seemed spacey from start to finish. Bloody Mary's took awhile to come out & the food was blah, especially for the price. The truffle fries were seriously lacking, the sauce was smothered on cold non-crispy fries. Fries you would receive at McDonald's would have tasted better. Seriously disappointed considering I'm a healthy eater & was treating myself. Portobello mushroom was super bland & the portion was small for being a $12+ entree plate. Perhaps I would come back for happy hour & just order beer/drinks. For such a great physical setting & atmosphere you would expect the food to be a little more appealing.

Was driving around Huntington Beach decided to stop by Eureka for lunch absolutely beautiful day to sit on the patio. I enjoyed the pork sandwich with a small salad and leah my server took exceptional care of me this is only my second time here but it won't be my last. Lots of great energy here saw lots of smiles on the employees faces.

Loved the feel of the place and the atmosphere. The Guy candy didn't hurt either :) Wide selection of food and drinks, which I love. The food was great. You have to experience for yourself - you might have a good experience or a bad one. But always remember, its not the place, it the person thats cooking your food and serving you. If its a bad experience make into a good one and enjoy. Would I go back.. Hell YEAH!

I'm currently sitting on the beautiful patio overlooking the fountain and palm trees at Bella Terra. We live within walking distance and are thrilled by the addition of Eureka to the area. The Happy Hour is great and long (2-6), the beer selection is fantastic and they let you sample as much as you want. We also we're told they offer a beer and whiskey flight which sounds AMAZING. The burgers are unique and beautifully prepared. Love this place!!!

Adding 1 more star - Was contacted by one of the regional managers via Yelp messenger explaining that they cannot accommodate reservations at this time. Understandable, but why change the yelp "Take Reservations" from "No" to a "Yes"? That's false advertising but okay, whatever. My initial 1 star was for the service, not just because they did not take reservations. Leaving me on the phone without any follow up for a very long time is very bad service... Came back recently to try their entrees because my friend wanted to try them. Craft beers are still good. Truffle fries is okay, if you like them soft and soggy. Entrees - I had the Naked Chicken - way too salty for me. My friend had the Chicken Sandwich, which was mediocre and lacked flavor. Again, will only go for Hoppy Hour for drinks.

It's about time we get decent places local! Happy hour 5-25 to try a few things, nachos- underplayed but were surprisingly good especially with fresh peppers, truffle fries not bad, salads were fresh. I'm a lighter beer far so the $3 handle pint was surprisingly good. Look forward to trying out some craft whiskey and the large clock ice cubes! Will for sure up stars on next if as impressed.

I have to say the ambience is very nice. Good music, good food and good beer. However, my first experience was disappointing to do the fact that the manager on duty was not attentive to his patrons or even aware of what was actually going on aside from his conversations at the bar, especially when they were clearly understaffed. The saving grace was, Lucas, who was charming, funny and kind. I appreciate the extra effort he put it to turn around the poor first impression we had. Completely made our night.

I've been here a few times recently since it's down the street from my house, and I love it! First things first, they have outdoor seating! Outdoor seating means my boyfriend and I get to have lunch with our dog! BONUS (; Food: There are so many burger options to choose from here, but I would have to say my favorite is the Fresno Fig Burger. It is simultaneously SAVORY and SWEET. Also, the burger comes with fries and I like to ask for a side of truffle sauce to dip or drizzle my fries with, rather than having to order a whole order of truffle fries. Let me tell ya, the portion of the burger and fries will fill you up. It is honestly perfect to where you won't feel overstuffed or still hungry. Overall, the pricing, food, and service is decent here.

I decided to give this place a second chance and I'm glad I did!! This time around, we sat at the bar and Eric, our bartender, was amazing! I loved him. He was helpful and friendly, but not too pushy. Most of the workers here are knowledgable about their selection of beers and whiskeys. I ordered the Fresno Fig Burger, which was sweet and delicious. The Napa Burger is also very delicious. I also drank a raspberry beer that was recommended by the bartender. Overall, my experience was great and I would come back for some beer and a burger. If you prefer a more interactive environment, I suggest sitting at the bar.

Perfect place to go for date night! Bella Terra is so cute and you can catch a movie before or after dinner, or peruse around Barnes and Noble if you're into that sort of thing! When I come I can't bring myself to order anything other than the Napa Burger. It is amazing, so juicy and tender, and the toppings all perfectly compliment each other! The sweet potato fries are pretty great too, the honey-cinnamon sauce that comes on top is incredible! The regular fries are average, and I wouldn't recommend the onion rings, they were a little soggy for me. The Corn dog app is cute, but also pretty average. I've heard the craft whiskey and beer selection is off the charts! I would definitely suggest giving it a try if you're in the area!

A solid place for cocktails with friends and happy hour appetizers. We came on a Friday night around 10pm and we were seated immediately. The place is pretty spacious with bar seating, booths and tables in addition to outdoor seating. Our server was helpful in suggesting drinks and the overall timing and service was fine. We enjoyed the fries and mini corndogs.

I work right next door to this Eureka location, I have gone there for my birthday, and on lunch when I am busy at the salon. I always get the pick up order, they are super quick and it's always amazing. The workers probably know me, one guy even dropped off my drink while I was working which was super rad and definitely a plus worthy in customer service.

Great food! Our server David was very informative and helpful. I had the Pearl Street Blues Burger and my gf had the cowboy burger. They were amazing! We then got the butterscotch rum pudding. The layers on that dessert got our heads spinning. Will come back again!

Came here with a few friends to try it out for the first time. Atmosphere was okay. I got the taco salad. It was pretty mediocre. There wasn't a kick to it like I was hoping since I make my own taco salads at home and those are amazing. Also for the chicken sliders, they would have been good if they didn't use biscuits as buns because it made the texture a little drying. I mean that's definitely preference though, some people might love it. Best part about the meal were the wings. They were pretty good. I recommend the drinks here too. They make them strong!

Let me start out by saying I've been to Eureka in Claremont and Redlands many times and LOVE it. Huntington Beach needs to get their act together. Our waitress came by to introduce herself and let us know it's happy hour and beers are $2 off. Great...we order some beers. The place is EMPTY...and we watch our beers sit on the bar for 10 mins before she gets around to bringing them to us. We order appetizers and dinner. Waited for about 20 mins and saw that our dinner was being brought to our table, but our appetizers are nowhere in sight. The food runner let the waitress know and her response was, "Oh yeah...I forgot to put those in." No apology what so ever. We said we can skip the appetizers since we already had our food and opted for another beer instead. Our burgers both came out room temp at best and extremely bland. Looks like these had been sitting on the counter just like our beers. The lack of seasoning was a bummer too because the other locations nail it. Our server finally comes back after about a half hour and asks if we need anything else. We say no please bring the check. 10 mins later she surfaces with the check and I noticed that NONE of the beers are at the happy hour price. I bring it to her attention and she again doesn't apologize and just said oh and walked away with it. She comes back another 10 minutes later with the check and said, "Ok my manager comped the beer off the tab." I'm sorry - but when you tell someone you comp something, that means you completely removed something from the tab. We were thinking due to the poor service and the fact that she forgot all of our appetizers and incorrect pricing that they removed our beers from the tab to keep our business. Nope...she just removed the $2 from each beer that she incorrectly charged us. I would have been perfectly fine with this had you said it correctly. We both emailed the manager to advise them of the lack of service and sub par food and neither have gotten any response back. It's been over a week. Needless to say I will never return to this Eureka, this place is a joke!

I think this place is decent. It's nice to check out the new area around Bella Terra. They have a DAILY happy hour from 2-6PM! yay! lots of appetizers on there, but no burgers on there. The prices for the burgers were around $10-15! so sort of expensive, but they were fancy burgers. I had the jalapeno egg burger which was good. There were tons of beers and I really would like to go back to try other appetizers. The decor is modern/industrial? I'm not good at describing but it was fairly LAish and I liked that. There is outdoor seating and they had a canopy. The outdoor seating looks out on the new fountain built there. The service was just mediocre and nothing special.

Tried a bunch of appetizers and all were pretty good! The bruschetta was amazing! The truffle fries were good but I've had better The Alfredo Mac n cheese tasty but nothing special And the corn dogs were good! The service was very slow but since we were enjoying our drinks and food we let it slide... Over all a good place to come out in socialize. I will probably come back and try happy hour

Dang! Lots of beers you never heard of on tap! : ) Our bartender was awesome and was very liberal with the samples! Not so we could get buzzed for free but so we could try out these obscure beers. Very nice not too feel like we were bothering anybody because we didn't know all the beers! On the bartender's recommendation I had the Fig Burger...it...was...awesome! A fig spread with melted goat cheese, arugula and grilled onions on a burger. I chose the coleslaw as my side. Perfect pairing! My buddy didn't comment on the chicken saltimbocca so I guess it was fine. The group next to us had the corn dog lollipops. The look just as described! If you can't picture it, think cake pops.

Just sort of not really a fan. Everything was just okay. I've had so much better at other places. It's not that anything here was really bad, it just wasn't great! The one thing I will say that was excellent was the service. The servers were very friendly, attentive, and are willing to offer suggestions. My mom and I had shared a burger with sweet potato fries and even ordered the caramel pudding dessert. Again, it was all - Meh.

I don't know where to start... I went in open minded because I typically don't like these types of places but WOW I'm so in love with this place now!! My wife and a couple friends went early on a Saturday night and it was crowded but we got a table right away. We had a server Megan who my wife and I are still talking about to this day! She was incredible! BTW I never talk about anyone like this.. She really knew the menu from top to bottom and REALLY knew the Whiskeys! Every recommendation I loved!! Can't wait to go back I have heard that all of there staff is like Megan very informed trained people. The food was great I had the tortilla burger very tasty my wife had the chicken sliders they were a bit spicy for her but we made due. All in all we had a great time and didn't break the bank. We will be recomending Eureka to everyone we know.

First time I've had to give a low rating, but here it is.... Arrived Sunday afternoon, 1:00pm (ish) restaurant was 20% of occupancy, but we opted to sit at the bar. The female bartender is not good for business as we waited for a long while before she gave us menus without any type of greeting. Bar had more empty seats versus occupied, so no explanation for slow service. A total of 12-15 minutes, no drink order, no greeting. She was too busy talking to her friends, or something. We opted to leave, went next door to Sol Restaurant, had excellent service within 30 seconds of sitting at the bar. The venue servers burgers, beers, and has TV's galore. Not an original concept. Good luck!

THE GOOD... I think this place succeeds when they keep it simple. The basic eureka burger has fresh quality ingredients. Love the meat and the simplicity of their take on 1000 island dressing. Tip: add bacon and cheddar cheese. I also love the fried chicken sliders. Fried chicken breast served on a fluffy biscuit. Awesome. Had it 3 times so far. The regular cut fries are much better than the shoestring fries. THE NOT SO GOOD... While the ingredients are fresh here, but I feel that they try too hard with their flavors. I had the jalapeño burger and the sauce dominated the flavor of the burger. I couldn't taste the meat and jalapeños. They also try to add a twist to their ketchup and ranch which I typically love at other restaurants, but the flavor combinations don't seem to land as well here. I would give this place 4 stars for their basic menu items, but they slightly miss the mark on some of their more experimental items. Definitely worth a try.

The food here is AMAZING! I had gone once before, but decided to take my husband this past weekend. It was a busy night so the food took a bit long, but we were unbothered by it. We were enjoying our night and talking while sipping on our beers. At the end of the evening when we were about to leave the Manager walked up to us and asked about the service and we let him know all of the positive. Out of nowhere he apologized for the length of time it took to get the food out which wasn't an issue to us. He then handed us a $25 gift card to come back. I wish I would have gotten his name so that I could give him the props he deserves. Well done Eureka! You have a great manager who actually cares about your reputation and that truly showed. We will definitely come back again and again!!! Recommendations: Truffle fries, Fried Chicken Sliders, Cowboy Burger, Saint Archer Pale Ale

We passed by this place several times and finally made it for lunch. It was 12:30 on a Sunday but we were seated right away. Our server, could not have been friendlier or more attentive. The decor was a great mix of sleek modern and kitschy vintage. When we looked at the menu, we were intrigued by many of the house signature, appetizers and burgers so we decided to get burger with different sides. We decided on the jalapeno burger eggs, onion rings. Being on a flip side , we consider ourselves experts on eggs and these place did not disappoint! The onion rings were made true to the test its ability to stand straight on its own without assistance from its sauce, perfect! But the star of the show was the burger - it was fried along with slices of jalapeno. They were perfectly battered and not at all chewy, and I shall forevermore feel slightly cheated when I don't have pieces of fried jalapeño to eat with my burger. She had their signature burger, which is topped with served with iceburg lettuce, pickles, red onions, tomato, and special sauce. I had heard that they under cook the burgers a little, so we ordered medium and got med rare. The burger was good, but I felt it needed a little something to balance the sweetness of the onions - maybe even just a little more salt. I didn't finish my half, but my gf was glad to do it for me! At that point we were stuffed but we had to try the butterscotch rum pudding served with homemade whipped cream and caramel sauce, garnished with flaky sea salt! However, if you want to share one, it's more than enough for two people! I ended up leaving an entire bowl full behind. If you love a good burger, be sure to give this place a try! But their menu is quite varied, so there's something for everyone (even salmon, sandwich & steak!).

The daily HH is a good deal. $5 bloody marys and $2 off drafts. They have over 40 selection of craft brews too! I loved the bloody mary - super yummy and they make their own mix. Unfortunately the food wasn't good. The fries were soggy and the corn dog wasn't crispy. The riblets were overdone and dry too. I'd come back for the drinks but that's mostly it.

This place can be summed up in a few words -- "It's nice, but I've had better." Place is clean. Burgers are $12 -- almost everything is. Had a "fig" burger, that's hamburger with fig marmalade. It's good. Asked for well done but received medium rare. Shared a cobb salad. It's nothing special. Waitress is nice. That's about it. Probably won't be back.

cocktails: both we ordered were no bueno "rosemary" watered down alcohol "mint julep" just nasty food: bone marrow burger good and juicy but the burger was room temp and the buns were actually cold. substituted for onion rings and that was bad, 3 thick pieces of outside onion skin - PAPER thin no flavor. wings were a weird flavor "garlic chili" didn't taste anything like it. truffle fries with bacon delish but not enough truffle and cheese sauce. riblets were ok but they were dry. BUTTERSCOTCH RUM PUDDING YUMM WITH SEA SALT CARAMEL. I love dessert, for this they got 3 stars. I'd come just for that and truffle fries (extra cheese please)

I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant serving American comfort food. Burgers are what they are known for but they also offer a variety of other dishes if you're not looking for a burger. We started with some corn dog lollipops -- really delicious. The coating was light and did not overpower the sausage inside. It comes with 3 dipping sauces including a housemade ketchup, mustard and an aioli. The osso bucco riblets weren't as pleasing. I had expected a stronger "firecracker" taste but they were just normal without much heat. We asked for an extra side of the firecracker sauce which we dipped the riblets into -- that did the trick. If you're vegetarian, the grilled portobello mushroom is the perfect dish. A really lovely tart dressing runs throughout and there is a perfectly dressed salad which comes on top. You can opt for French fries or sweet potato fries as accompaniments -- both were great. One of the biggest surprises was the lump crab cake. I didn't expect this to be so good, but it was. There were generous chunks of crab without much fillers and so delicately flaky. Absolutely delicious! The burger we chose was the fig burger with goat cheese and figs. A little sweet for me, but my friend, who loves goat cheese, absolutely loved this burger. Order the humongous panko crusted onion rings. This onion ring lover will tell you, it's soooooo good. They have an impressive beer and whiskey selections. Honestly, for a chain, it was a very respectable eatery.

I am so sad. I have been dying to come to this place after trying it few months back! Happy hour prices/selections are a good deal! Time finally matched up perfectly so that we could catch their Happy Hour menu and it was such a disappointment. We were seated promptly upon arrival by the door leading to the back kitchen on the booth. We ordered the Puget steamers, fried chicken sliders, and white fish tacos. The moment our food came out, there were DISGUSTINGLY sooooo many fruit flies. Okay, honestly I'm not so picky, I understand and am lenient towards normal natural bugs that can't be helped. BUT this, this started to get irritating after I saw the 10th one. I kept trying to ignore them but it was 2pm and there was a perfect shade to sunlight ratio goin on and I could see the shadows of flying little bugs on the wood tables. They kept swarming around our food and then I got really pissed off when they started landing on the food. I didn't want to seem like that uptight customer BUT THEN .. ughh one landed on the tortilla of my taco, so I peeled off that portion that it landed and found a couple hairs on and IN the white fish .. just great. Seriously ruined my whole appetite and interest in this place. I'm utterly disappointed and couldn't believe this was happening. I have never had such a bad experience at what I thought was a really nice restaurant. SO. SAD.

Eureka is a nice place too catch up with some friends if you want a new place to go too besides TGIF, BJ's or BWW. I went here a few times, but it didn't really stand out. I went here once for dinner and got the corndog lollipop which was pretty good and interesting. I also shared the jalapeño egg burger which was ok, I wouldn't say it was the best. I would probably come back here for the drinks and appetizers. Oh yeah and they're wide range of crafted beers! I recommend getting the beer sampler first to taste test.

As one of the newer restaurants in Bella Terra this one stood out in the reviews on Yelp. We were greeted & seated promptly in their large patio. It was nice to see both ceiling fans & heat lamps in the patio. They have a large beer selection as expected. Only 1 person in our group ordered a beer which she liked. The service was very good. The waiter was friendly, & was helpful in suggestions. The menu is primarily made up of different variety of burgers. We started with the truffle fries. I am a huge truffle fan but didn't really taste too much truffles in the cheese sauce on top of the fries. I had the braised ribs. The meat was very tender & the mash potatoes were probably the best I've had. They were very tasty. Another person in the party had the naked chicken. It was a good size piece of chicken. I tried it & it was pretty good. The other person in our group had the salmon. I tried this as well. I would not order this myself even though I love fish. The salad that it's served with was good. My dish by far was the best one at the table. It was also what the waiter had recommended from the specialities portion of the menu. For dessert we shared the pudding. It was pretty good. If you're looking for gourmet burgers & beer you should try this place. Overall A-Ok.

Bella Terra's new gem!!! This place ROCKS! Where do I begin?? If you like great craft beer and whiskey as much as I do, and a nice juicy burger...Eureka is DEFINITELY the spot to be! Food: Started with the truffle fries and their "nacho average nachos" because my server told me how generous the portions are and was a great call! They were fantastic. Zach the manager brought me over some of their firecracker sauce I guess they homemake because he overheard me talking about I needed a little more kick and I'm not kidding, i would bathe in the stuff it's so delicious...Thanks Zach! Next up, me and my buddy split the jalepeno egg burger and the tortilla burger to try something new....all I gotta say is "Slater's who????"...... Service: Anywhere can have decent food but this is where the 5th star comes into play. Everyone is so genuine and friendly. We had one main server but everyone was helping everyone so we were never left hangin. WILL RETURN....A LOT!

Very upset with the service here. Took ten minutes to get seated so we sat at 8:50. "Hoppy" hour starts at 9 fyi. We placed an order of truffle fries without even knowing about the happy hour beforehand. I asked to cancel my order so I can get it for the happy hour deal later. They refused which I do not understand why. TEN MINUTES AWAY. VERY UPSET. Our servers were Karly and Mackenzie

I will say that Christina S. from corporate guest services was an absolute sweet heart and was very apologetic and professional to deal with after I left my first review. I gave Eureka! another chance, unfortunately I have no improvement to report. I didn't really want to write another review but had to because the service was so bad this time again. Hostess - no smile- not friendly- no personality. To me, hostess' are very important because it's the first person to greet you and should always be warm and friendly- I guess not in this case. Waiter ( blonde male- no name tags! Must be so no one is accountable! ) did not check on us. We didn't get our beer and my sons milk until after my husband completely finished his meal- see pic. Our food was so bad. Riblets were so dry I felt like I was eating jerky. Pulled chicken in nacho were also dry and tasted and looked like dry boiled chunks. Our server never came back. A red head female server asked if we needed anything else or to order anything else ? When clearly we were done eating. I just asked for our check and where was our server was and she just said "I don't know"... Wow. I really love the rotating beer selection and whisky selection. Decor and atmosphere is nice and my family and I frequent the Bella Terra center often so I really wanted to give this place a chance, but I think I'm going to have to throw in the towel on this one. You can find me next door at Solitas. And Lake is the most awesome server ever! I left a great review for him personally and he recognized me and got up from his meal to shake my hand- such a sweet heart! Now he could teach the Eureka! Staff and management a thing or two about customer service! Sorry! But one star review stands :( but I tried!

Came here with my colleagues for a surprise bday for one of my teammates. The decor layout was a very cool vibe and open space where you do not feel crowded. We came here for the Happy Hour and ordered pretty much everything on the HH menu. - Fish Tacos (nothing special, was okay) - Corn Dog pops (probably my favorite item on the menu) - Average Nachos (were rightfully described...avg) - Chicken Sliders (simple, nothing special, the biscuit bread overwhelmed the whole slider and made it "bready". Wish they used Hawaiian bread or something less starch) - Chicken Wings (lots of flavor, but tiny pieces) - Riblets (Had a nice kick, very "saucy", but the meat was dry) - Their craft beer selection was very diverse and really good (I forgot what I ordered) - They only have whiskey, as I had the impression they had Scotch/Whisky (my choice of drink) here. So I was a little disappointed. Overall, the place is okay and the food was mediocre. I will probably give them another shot for HH, but mainly for drinks.

A hidden restaurant in Bella Terra, that needs to be out there more because its just that good! Burgers & Beer here is the best combo. I recommend the Cowboy burger with sweet potato fires and the chicken wings. Came here on a friday night, and the wait was 45 minutes. I recommend putting your name down and walk around BT, it's a pretty cool shopping area. Parking is kind of bad here... so crowded which is a good sign in a way. Definitely coming back for more burgers

Pros: Decor ok. Cons: Ordered the most expensive burger on the menu, the bone marrow burger, and its just ok. I think the place just tries too hard to artesian everything and I'd rather save the few bucks and go back to islands with the bottomless fries. We ordered a bunch of appetizers and those were the most disappointing. Sweet potato fries with honey and cinnamon? What were we thinking? And the spareribs... How can you possibly screw up spareribs, right? All I tasted was mustard and it felt a bit dry and chewy. If your just gonna marinade it with mustard, how about making a sweet mustard? Spare ribs are suppose to be tender, savory, sweet, salty, and spicy and this mustard spare rib was none of that. Panda Express now does spare ribs and how I wished there was one close by so I could of snuck in with a couple of orders and save us the $15. And just one more final note... and managers, pay special attention to what I'm about to say. Next time a group comes down with 15 heads deep to celebrate a couple of birthdays, you guys should really appreciate the business these groups are about to give you and not try to gouge every dollar we got. What do I mean? It's really cool that after our meal, you drop us off with a couple of birthday sundaes. What is not cool is when we see these damn sundaes on the freaking bill! The $6.50 is trivial, but don't charge us for something we didn't order! Wtf!!! Really eureka? Is this how you appreciate your customers? Dropping 4 bills to your establishment wasn't enough? Most unappreciative, faux pas thing to do. Why dont you just give everyone at the freaking table a freaking sundae and put that on the freaking bill while your freaking at it? Unlike this establishment, I will be a little generous and give u two stars. What I should of given you guys was a deuce in your urinal. You really should only deserve 1 for that disrespect, but I'm hoping you guys can change.

The food here is out of control good! Best burgers I've ever had and I eat tons of high end burger joints! Try the Napa, it will blow your mind!! Bunny the manager is also so cool! She sat with us for a while, brought us a free dessert and went over to a few other tables to make sure everything was okay... Best burger restaurant in town, you will not be disappointed!

2nd time here and really starting to like it. Burgers are great, steamers are tasty and the overall vibe is easy going. Service is great. Didn't realize this place has been here 10 months. Simple menu, simple food for a reasonable price. I recommend the cowboy burger.

Their truffle fries are bomb, definitely upgrade and get those. I got the jalapeño and egg burger over medium, and it was uhhhhh-mazing. If you're in the mood for a custom burger, and you're in HB, this is the place to go....... Also, they only have craft beers, and local ipa's, blondes, brews, etc. I made the rookie mistake of asking about a coors light, even though I have been here a half dozen times. If you want local craft beers, come here

Well now, where do we begin? The bf and I were tired of our usual hangouts and longed for something more, something different, something exciting... After reading some mixed reviews and checking out their cool menu, We ventured in and saw that it was hustling and bustling on a Thursday night. So we plop our butts right by the bar and check out a menu. Well let me tell you we checked the HELL out of that menu...for 20 minutes! Now I always come in with an open mind because I WANT places to be great. I love seeing successful businesses. I come BACK to successful businesses. I recommend places that I love to all of my friends....BUT NO ONE CAME BY. So many servers walked past us and saw that we had our big ol' Thirsty/Hungry eyes! Not a single person stopped to greet us or tell us that it would just be a minute. I even shook the menu vigorously in hopes of creating a scene that maybe one of them would spot. I was even loudly vocalizing my distaste for the horrible service. AND STILL NO ONE. Sad Face. I finally had to wrangle someone next to a register (Which was right in front of us too) to come help us and it was still another 5-7 minutes after that before they even bothered to send a server. I ordered a beer flight and those little corn dog bites because they sounded fun. Beer was great and the corn dog bites are fun...but taste just like a regular corn dog you can buy anywhere. Nothing special. I had to get out of there because we had been there for over an hr and I was just upset still over the fact that we sat there for so long without service. When you are in the service industry, making your customers wait that long just to order a drink is absolutely unacceptable. It put such a bad taste in my mouth that it killed the rest of the experience for me. I give it the two stars because the place looked fun and the atmosphere seemed hip and young. Everything was clean and new and pretty. But you can bet your bottom dollar I wont be returning anytime soon. Maybe someday when I forget all about this experience...

I usually go to the Irvine location at UTC because it is close to my office. But came to this particular one because my cousins were staying across the street at The Hotel HB. This location is spacious, has an awesome outdoor seating area and overall great ambiance. Great for large parties. Food: Osso Buco Riblets - Awesome! Never fails. This is my go to appetizer. It just falls off the bone and so flavorful. It's a Sherry braised pork with their firecracker aioli. Truffle Cheese Fries - Good but it's a hit or miss. A creamy Havarti (which I love) truffle sauce, garnished with green onions. Add bacon!! :) Fresno Fig Burger - It was very rich! Probably from the goat cheese. This burger has a fig marmalade, bacon, onions, arugula and a spicy porter mustard. Steak salad - It was very refreshing and not heavy on the stomach at all! Sliced flat iron steak (med rare of course), blue cheese crumbles with tomato, red onions and a delicious oregano mustard vinaigrette. I put the shoe-string onion rings on the side. Mac N' Cheese Alfredo - Ehh, it was dry. Not that great in flavor. Had Orecchiette, a creamy alfredo Sherry sauce and sage. Drinks: Old Fashion - classic. Delicous. A go-to drink but acquired taste. Whiskey flights - premium whiskey (made in small batches) are $10 extra but great to try. Tolosa Chardonnay & Mannequin - great whites wine for hh. Crisp & refreshing. Justin Cab - great with the steak salad. They have "Hoppy Hour" from 2pm-6pm & 9pm-Close. $2 off Draft & Bottled Beers. $2 off all wine and a certain vodka( forgot the name). 50% off wine every Tuesday (Yessss! Find me there!) $5 Bloody Mary's ALL day weekends (Sunday Funday!)

2 1/2 stars. This is a really pretty space with a great bar and good drinks. We had burgers, they were awful, I had a blue cheese burger with mushrooms and grilled onions, I couldn't taste the cheese & there was a just a mini amount of mushrooms and onions, I had ordered it naked with a turkey patty so I was served a beef patty on a hamburger bun, I was too hungry to send it back. There many great burger places around Huntington, this is not one of them. Maybe the other food is good but if you want a burger go someplace else, the fries were mediocre too, almost like they were frozen and then reheated, I also noticed that pictures of the burger plates from 2014 had HUGE piles of fries next to the burgers, but alas in 2015 there is just a small cup of fries.

I came here this past weekend on Saturday night. I expected it to be crowded and wasn't disappointed. My friend and I actually got a good table, it was in front of the patio and was able to see the pretty fountain and the table was roomy. The atmosphere was cool and had a nice vibe to it. I'm not really much of a beer drinker but my friend is, so he started of with the Stone 420 IPA. He really seemed to enjoy that. After looking at the menu for a few minutes we decided on the following: Appetizers: - Truffle Fries: it was a big portion, we didn't expect to to be that big. They were OK. I should of gotten the wings instead. Entrees: - Jalapeno Egg Burger w/ fries: came with fried egg, cheddar cheese, bacon (which I gave to my friend), spicy chipotle sauce and jalapenos. I added sauteed mushrooms and caramelized onions. I really enjoyed this burger, it was very tasty and loved the egg, it really hit the spot. The fries were OK, seemed a little too oily. -Hickory Pulled Pork Sandwich w/ fries: came with caramelized onions. My friend really enjoyed this sandwich and it was a generous portion. He couldn't finish it all and took the other half to go. My friend also ordered the Whiskey Sour and said it was tasty. I stuck with lemonade. Service is good except our server and can't remember his name kept hovering around asking us if we were going to order dessert and if we were done with our food. He kept interrupting our conversation, he even offered to put dessert in so he could get our bill. Apparently he kept hovering because his shift was almost over. It seemed like he was rushing us so that we could pay. I didn't like that which is one of the reasons i deducted half a star. However I will come back to try other items and drinks, hopefully our server wont rush us this time. They have 20 permanent beer selections as well as 20 rotating choices. Overall rating 3.5

We had a great evening of drinks and appetizers here! The place is really clean and drinks were strong! I loved sitting outside by the fire! Our server Jackson was funny, cute and a great server! We will definitely be back!

The Pearl street Blues burger is a must have! Everything about it is perfection, from the contrast of the blue cheese to the house made chipotle style ketchup, it is one of the best burgers ever! They also have a great wine and craft beer selection along with delicious must have sides like rib lets and wings. To top everything, the manger and servers (like Jackson) are very friendly and create an excellent dining experience. One of my favorites spots.

This place is awesome We experienced one accidentally in Santa Barbara and were really impressed. It's a must go if you've never been to the one in HB The service is great and the atmosphere is cool and cozy. They have a great alcohol selection as well. Hint : the BEET BURGER IS THE BOMB

I was surprised there weren't more people here. I hope they start to get a following like solita next door. The restaurant is gorgeous inside and outside. I don't order salads much but got the strawberry fields salad and loved it. They have mostly burgers on the menu otherwise, all of which sounded good. You should come for the drinks and specials! We came on wine night - the only thing is there's not many options for wine. I prefer beer though and their selection was vast. The food is good, but this place gets 4 stars for the ambiance and service.

Went here today with my sister and bro-in-law, what an awesome meal!!! Great service, great beer selections. The food was fresh, delicious and cooked exactly as ordered. I had the blue cheeses burger w/ sweet potato fries, my sister had the bbq burger w/ onion rings and my bro-in-law had the bone marrow burger w/ fries. We also ordered beforehand the nachos, all I have to say is out of this world!!!! Our server was a real sweetheart and he gave good beer recommendations.....Thank you!!!!! We will be coming back soon!!!!

Another new restaurant to Bella Terra, and it's fantastic. This one is located on the far side by Costco under the residences, so your best bet is to park in the structure and walk over (the spots right in front are 90-minute parking). It's a craft beer and bourbon restaurant, and every drink they serve is American-made. On Wednesdays, there's a "keep the glass" promo where you can order a certain beer and keep the glass. There's 40 beers on tap, plus two white wines on tap and barrel-aged cocktails. The food is great. The corn dog lollipops are absolute heaven, even for people who don't care for hot dogs (they're made with sausage). The fig burger is also incredible, with sweet and and savory flavors since it also comes with goat cheese and bacon. For dessert, try the butterscotch rum puddding, which is so light and comes topped with housemade whipped cream.

came back after being contacted by friendly customer service. I mostly was upset about service last review. This time the service a bit better. We had to ask for ketchup and Tabasco twice until we finally got it at the end of our meal. We had appetizers too. As for the food we got corn dogs, truffle fries, and napa burger. Me and my bf didnt like the truffle fries- soggy and too rich. Food is still too pricey for what you receive. Burgers are cooked really well! I also think its odd they charge more for onion rings instead of fries (I wish they told us that when they offered to get rings during our order). Anyways, I myself wont be back but my boyfriend said he will be for steal glass Wednesdays lol he really likes that

This is a great addition to Bella Terra! It adds more of a classy vibe, since Eureka leans towards a casual chic feel with its dark wood interior and fancy light fixtures :) The outdoor patio is also very cool, with a fancy firepit! Inside, it is pretty spacious and there is one large communal table near the front for big groups. Contrasting the dark colors is the bright bar in the back of the restaurant, displaying all the beers they have on tap and some surely delightful liquors! The overall look and vibe is very similar to the two other locations I have visited in San Diego and Santa Barbara. Since they just opened, I wasn't sure how the service was going to be but our waitress was very attentive! She was super nice and always checked in with us. Luckily, we made it just in time for happy hour! It looks like its everyday from 2-6pm! $2 off beers so I ordered a pint of the Sculpin IPA from Ballast Point ($5), since I wanted to support San Diego (where I went to school)! As far as food, we ordered the Truffle Fries ($4) and the Osso Bucco Riblets ($5-6, I can't remember exactly)! The portion size of both was much larger than expected, which is great! The truffle fries were bursting with the truffle essence, though not in an overpowering way. The addition of the green onions added a nice little bite too :) The riblets were cooked well, full of flavor and had just enough spice from the aioli. From the regular menu, we also ordered the Fresno Fig Burger. This is my favorite, though I've only tried two of their burgers. This is a great tasty combination of sweet and savory. The fig marmalade is not overly sweet and goes well with the creamy goat cheese. I also enjoyed the use of arugula, since it has a peppery taste that compliments the bacon! So good. It was also cooked medium, like I ordered, which is an issue I had with the other locations. My burgers always came out overcooked. Thankfully that didn't happen here! I'm really bad with names but the young manager came by our table right before we left to ask us how our meal went! It was so nice to meet him and see the face who is running the establishment. He was so kind too so it just made the whole overall experience better!

this place is great! came in because I had a gift card and was pleasantly surprised. I got the Napa Burger with a turkey patty and it was delicious. my boyfriend got the All Day Breakfast Burrito, which was also better than expected. will definitely be back when I'm craving a burger! didn't try any alcohol but great selection on whiskey and beers!

Used to go to Eureka in Claremont all the time when I was living in Pomona and ever since I moved back home to OC, I have been missing Eureka soooo much so you can imagine how stoked I was when I found out Eureka was opening in Huntington Beach. There's not a lot of whiskey bars around OC so it was really nice to be able to go like 5 miles for some whiskey. My fiancee and I came here last Saturday and it was pretty crowded. Luckily we got 2 seats at the bar right away. I was hankering for a good burger and a whiskey sour. My fiancee who loves Old Fashioned thought the drink was a little watered down so he told the bartender and the bartender made him a new drink right away. We ordered the Fig Burger with coleslaw and the Cowboy Burger with sweet potato fries. I thought the food was decent, not as great as Claremont but then again this location just opened so I'm getting an open mind for the food to be at its best a few months down the road. We got the check the it came out to be $19. Our bartender, Trevor (he is also the beverage consultant, I think) had told us that he took my fiancee's first drink off since he didn't like the drink so he only charged us for the 2 drinks. The price still puzzled me and I think Trevor saw my puzzled face and came by and told us that the food is all complimentary since it was their soft opening. Awesome!!! I should have ordered more food! All in all, great place for a good burger, craft beers and also some good old whiskey.

I've now tried many things on their menu. As well as many severs and let's be honest...no matter what time it it, or where you sit, or what you order: the food is amazing!! I've had almost everything. It's effing fantastic!

Came here for HH with friends and it was really good. Great selection of beers, wines and HH foods were excellent, except for the burchetta and fried chicken sliders. The truffle oil fries, nachos, steamers ( clams), corn dog balls on a stick, ribeletts and MAC were amazing. Prices are excellent from $3-$7. Staff were very accommodating and the atmosphere was very modern. They don't play the music too loud which is great. Will definitely recommend friends, family and probably even strangers.

After eating here 3 times in 2 weeks I think a review is necessary. The first time I went I tried the Catalina Bison burger (I believe it's called) and the flavour was decent. Wasn't as I thought it was going to be but I suspect that's because it was overpowered by the jalapeño jam. A less bright, more earthy note would have paired much better with bison IMO. However the craft of the burger, delicious truffle fries, and amazing server (Emerald) was enough to inspire me to come back. After having the Pearl Street Blues burger and the Vodka burger, both cooked rare, I'm in love with this place. I love the creations they've come up with! Even down to the ketchup! It's doctored up with honey and brown sugar which works very well on the heavenly truffle fries. Oh did I mention the truffle fries are incredible?! The servers here are amazing people, the food is great, the decor is perfect, and the mission statement behind the restaurant is what gets me. American. Their $5.00 bloody mary's are even made with American vodka! Sorry Vladimir. And sorry I couldn't make this short and sweet. TLDR : Eat at this amazing restaurant, please.

Before my last visit I would have given Eureka 5 stars. I love this place, great happy hour prices, and fabulous food. HUGE whiskey selection and great service. HOWEVER, on a wednesday, our server suggested we try the beer on special which came with a free glass (2 glass max). Excited to start our wednesday tradition, we ordered 2, we enjoyed our beers and moved onto other delicious drinks and food... Then came the bill: $12 per beer. Need I say more. The most I have paid for a beer at Eureka has been $7. It's just the kind of thing that you would like your server to mention. Those 2 beers were more expensive than our 2 entrees since everything there is priced fairly. I will continue to enjoy Eureka, but I will have to ask the dreadful question when told about a special "...and how much is that?".

Great food! Attentive staff. Wonderful ambiance. Too bad they refuse to carry craft ciders - my tab would have been tripled. I dine at their location in Indian Wells frequently, so it was serendipitous to find this location a few blocks away from my Paint Nite venue. The fig burger with goat cheese and bacon is sublime. Love the expanded desert menu. Hand cut fries perfectly cooked with a side of aioli. Shut the front door!

My coworkers and I typically go out in a large group of 6-12 people on Fridays and we probably go here about once or twice a month. In the past we had one bad experience with a manager arguing with a coworker of mine, but fortunately it seems that he was let go. Today we went in with 10 people and were delighted to meet a newer manager named Bunny. She was AWESOME! She literally shook every person's hand and introduced herself to each person individually. She stopped by multiple times to chat with us and sent us 2 free nachos and 2 free truffle fries! How awesome is that? We do keep coming back though because the burgers are great. They have an extensive whiskey selection but since we are on our lunch break from work we have not got to partake in that yet. I do have a few complaints for our average visits (not today) just in case Eureka is reading this. Keep in mind, despite these nuances, we still come back. 1. On our average visits, sometimes it typically takes around 30 minutes for our food to come out. I understand we sometimes have a large party, but we also usually come early around 11:45 when the restaurant is empty. It seems a bit long. 2. More importantly on most occasions, toward the end of our meal the servers go missing. I think on 3 different occasions we waited 20 minutes just sitting in our seats waiting get get our checks. This can be annoying, as most employees are given about 1 hour for lunch. Our bosses are nice and typically don't say anything, but it's usually 2 hours for a lunch trip to Eureka, and it only takes about 10 minutes to get there. *These 2 problems listed above did not happen today, and we were able to get back in 1.5 hours.

Only reason I didn't put 5 stars is because nothing is perfect. Love this place! Great selection of whiskey and a great rotation of craft beers. Everything on the menu is good. I'm partial to the bison burger and the bone marrow burger. Yep you read that right. Soooo good.

Beer selection is awesome! I'm a fan of The Brewery Autumn Maple. Short rib ragu was great. Apple crisp dessert, great. I like the whiskey sampler. They write the name of each whiskey or Scotch on the little chalk board on the sampler paddle.

Tried Eureka last Saturday with a group of friends. We sat on the patio which was really nice. The benches you sit on weren't very comfortable, but there were heaters and the atmosphere is nice. The service was great, very attentive and nice. The food was delicious. I really recommened the Napa Burger! Yum!! The onion rings were good too. My only complaint was that we went for a Birthday and told the waitress.. they did not acknowledge him at all. I was a little bummed there was no dessert or just a "Happy Birthday" thrown his way.

We got here around 5:50 and waited for a few minutes for them to clear the table. The hostess put us in the corner in front of the fountain outside for a nice view. Happy hour ends at 6 so I asked if we could still order and she said she would send the waitress right over. Good service! We ordered 2 beers that were like Blue Moons, House Mac N Cheese, Truffle Fries, and Fish Tacos. Since most of that was part of Happy Hour, our total came out to $22. I thought that was a great value. The food was all okay but I wouldn't pay regular price for all of it. The melted truffle on the fries was good but it was a bit plain since they only topped it with green onions. Maybe some meat or guacamole or something extra to liven them up would've been nice. The fish tacos had a mango salsa on top so that was refreshing. The fish were cut into little cubes and the order came with 2 tacos. The mac n cheese came in a small skillet that kept it hot the whole time we ate it. It was very cheesy but too, a little plain and would've been nice with maybe tiny bits of ham or bacon or something. I probably wouldn't return unless someone wanted to go there for Happy Hour but glad that I tried it!

Great to have another juicy burger place in town! Go there for the Kraft Beer (49 on top), the fine selection of whiskeys, and the juicy Burgers! Got the Corn Dog Lollipops for my son, and tried just one...yum! They are tasty and juicy, too! I got the Pearl Street Burger with all the tasty trimmings and he got the Cowboy Burger. But were big and filling. But most of all, the meat tasted like meat. Juicy meat. Meat with flavor. Not scrap stuff of fast food fare, or coffee shop deals. The Sweet Potato Fries, with cinnamon and honey were soooo habit-forming, even though I have very little carvings for sugar. I ate em. All gone. But prob won't get em again, but that's just me! A nice, different touch if you a sweet potato lover. Nice, peaceful atmosphere, but does get busy around 7=ish, so hurry on down there! But leave me a parking space!

The service was extremely fast and friendly. A+ on that point. I also have to give them high grades for the selection of craft beers and spirits. Menu is not particularly deep nor particularly inspiring. Hamburgers sliders, mac & cheese fish tacos etc. I had the hamburger ($9.5) and it was prepared perfectly. It was good, but nothing that would make me say wow. Hand cut fries were good. Ketchup was boring. The vibe of the place was nice and I will go back.

I like this place. I came here for my friend's birthday. I had the Grilled Chicken Sandwich wrapped in lettuce and a side salad. My friend had the Grilled Chicken Sandwich with onion rings. The food tasted really good. I really like the atmosphere. The patio is really cute with a fire pit. I read about bad service, but the hostess was really nice and so was our waitress. I'd definitely come back.

I have been wanting to come here for a while. I was excited to try the menu and the drinks. We stopped in late last night because there aren't too many places serving food after 10pm, they were. The place was cool, had a three piece band playing, only a few people inside. Zach, the friendly manager asked what we'd like to drink and seemed eager to accommodate us. We quickly picked some appetizers and put in our order with Chris, we were starving. The Nachos w/ Steak, Steamers and Bruschetta. The portions were decent sizes but the taste was OFF. The Nachos had a funky sweet Asian sauce with the other usual nacho toppings- with barely any cheese and extremely tough chewy cubes of steak. Maybe like... 10 cubes oddly placed on top. The last piece I tried I couldn't chew through and had to discard it. Ew. The Bruschetta looked great but was just overly dressed in balsamic vinaigrette and drizzled with a balsamic reduction. Again, sweet sweet sweet. Too sweet and not good. I didn't know it was possible to screw up bruschetta. The Steamers were the saving grace. They were fantastic! One of the best I've had. The clams were perfectly cooked, the broth was flavorful. It was served with two pieces of bread so we had to ask for more. Twice. And we got charged for that. Our server came by once to see how we were doing. After that Zach came by to see how our food was...My girlfriends are in the restaurant/bar industry... We all kind of paused and my friend said "do you want us to be honest?" And Zach nestled in for what seemed like was a true interest in what we had to say. We have our opinions on the food as I stated above. We were absolutely polite and Zach seemed to care. He told us the Steamers were his least favorite and didn't like the clams etc. and told us what we should have ordered the riblets blah blah blah. He then went on about the whiskeys they have and the cocktails they serve and what can he get us? We assumed this was a peace offering in that we were unhappy with the food. He kept trying to sell us on the whiskey. No whiskey for us thanks. My friend and I got the Margarita he was raving about. I then see him go over to our server and give him our drink order to add to our tab. Huh. Ok. $93 later for three cocktails, two beers and three appetizers. Those "wonderful amazing fresh lime" margaritas were f-ing $10 each. Thanks Zach! I wonder how much that whiskey was that you kept trying to sell us on?? The smallest Old Fashion I've ever seen was $12. Is this f-ing Vegas??? My girlfriends say that when a customer is unhappy with something, you always ask what can be done- can I get you a drink on me, I took off an appetizer, I'm so sorry etc. None of that. We aren't here for free anything and would absolutely love to pay top dollar for an experience we enjoyed but that's just rude. After we got our last drink and received our bill not once did anyone come to check on us, ask how we were or say goodnight. Zach disappeared. So did our server. Zach, shame on you and what you think are managerial skills. I hope those $20 in cocktails were worth losing three customers. One star for the band, second star for the Steamers. Won't be back.

I wanted to like this place sooooo badly! Amazing happy hour specials! Fancy craft cocktails! An awesome outdoor dining patio with fancity fire pits and gorgeous tables and sleek decor! And such a creative menu...: ( Tsk, tsk. So where did they go wrong?! You know me, I NEVER complain about service, but either we weren't young and gorgeous enough to get our server's attention, or the servers here are so poorly trained, someone in management is doing a REALLY terrible job. We ended up having, like, 3 different people serving us because each new person couldn't get their shit together when it even came to asking us for our drink orders. One person would kind of buzz by and say they'd be right back, but then another server would keep walking by and the other one just disappeared completely. Not so much as eye contact for the majority of our wait. So, I know the Kings game was on TV. I know it was a busy night, and maybe they were distracted, but to sit at our table for a good 20 minutes before anyone even acknowledged us (to the point that the people at the neighboring table who came in after us got served their appetizers already!), I was pretty much at my wits end. We decided to stick it out for a bit and give them the benefit of the doubt, but when my cocktail came and it pretty much just tasted like water ($10 water, that is), and still no one came by to take our order for almost another 30 minutes, we were over it and we walked out. And we definitely won't be back. This is a chain and they're supposed to have some kind of standard or something, right? That's why chains are boring and predictable. Eureka! is a chain gastropub trying to be something exclusive and trendy and special and boy, are they a bit misguided. Sad when a restaurant overestimates its own self worth, isn't it?

This place NEVER disappoints! We used to drive all the way to Claremont just to have their delicious truffle fries and burgers! So glad they opened one in Huntington Beach! Happy Hour is EVERYDAY! which is great since most places are only M-F. Go wednesday after 6 for sure. Steal a glass night, so they basically have a brewery that is the beer of the night and when you order their beer, you get to take home the special glass from that brewery! It's so cool! Not too crowded (yet), so we will be back again. Lollipop Corn Dogs are to die for! Truffle Fries are addicting! yum!

I came here excited to try their burgers since all the pictures on Yelp looks amazing. Turns out it was a disappointment. I started off with the riblets which the waiter claimed it to be a really good choice. The riblets were incredibly dry and the only flavor I taste/smell was vinegar. Then came my napa burger. The buns were a bit soggy and couldn't hold the meat. Fries were too hard. It taste like I was eating chips. The service was meh also because the waitress forgot to count the cash and overcharged me on my credit card. Overall, ambiance is great and a perfect place for group outings but everything else was a miss.

I was really excited to try this place! The decor is nice, but we were ushered right out to the patio without a choice. It was a Saturday afternoon and not so hot, so outside was some good people watching. We ordered the corn dog pops, they were OK. I would've perferred more corn to this molten hot lava dog, but ok. Drinks were ordered, bloody mary for me a couple of craft cocktails for my dapper gent. The bloody was VERY red.. which usually means not a lot of vodka.. by the near end of it, I was right. It was mostly harsh mix and too much hot sauce. Sadly, I didn't even catch a buzz and I'm not a big drinker these days. As for my beau's cocktails, both were OK. The Boulvardier should have a RED HUE, not be a watered down Old Fashioned. Maybe the bartender was new, maybe they haven't been trained on proper classic cocktails, maybe we now expect too much when it comes to craft cocktails. Either way, between the meal and drinks, I do not foresee a return visit.

A few weeks ago my wife and I came here for brunch. Had 2 bloody Mary's, an appetizer and a burger each. Both drinks were good and strong... The appetizer bruschetta was brought out completely charred. We asked if this was the way it came she said no I'm sorry I don't know why I brought that to u like that... Lol I was like me either this tastes horrible. Another quickly came out. Tasted ok. Our meals came out. Fries were Ice cold. We didn't Wana complain again so we didn't say anything. Burgers were fabulous. I had the one with the egg Which was pretty damn good. So we decided with the few hiccups from the last time we would give it another shot.... My wife and I came for the happy hour. Decent.... Basically $2 off anything. Had one drink ea. We paid, left and went shopping for my sisters wedding. Ended up having to wait 30 min for all our presents to get wrapped at Bed bath and beyond. So we came back had another drink. We ordered 2 of the basic margaritas then asked to close our bill... $9 ea margarita btw.... A tiny a Margo came out we kind it looked at each other like 9 bucks and this little thing is what we get?... So it Tasted decent. A couple seconds later we noticed that my wife had a nat in her margarita so we asked our server if they can make a new one... She took it unpleasantly... Another server dropped it off with a shitty look on her face and didn't say a word. Kind of weirded us out with there vibe... Not a happy nice server attitude... My wife and I tasted it.... It seriously tasted like pure lime juice and Margo mix. I normally never complain because I have a server background but I know a bad Margo with no alcohol when I taste one. So I went and spoke with the manager politely about the whole situation... He said they would bring out ANOTHER one obviously fixed on the house... And said he would take it off the bill... They did bring us another one but never took it off Our bill :/. The Same server brought it with a mean mug on her face... We finished and left unhappy... :/ The bottom line: I probably will never come back to this establishment solely because of the service. Solita tacos and margaritas next door is a way better deal, better service, and your Dollar goes a lot farther!

Gets my vote for the best happy hour and the best burger! Let's start with the delicious happy hour appetizers, served in good size portions (the riblets are to die for!) and the outstanding choices of beers and cocktails for a very reasonable price in an awesome outdoor patio environment! Their nitch is that all of their food and drinks are MADE IN AMERICA except the tequila and maybe that's why it's so flavorful and delicious! The burgers are juicy, the buns taste homemade and the onion rings are like nothing you've had before. The servers were friendly, helpful and efficient - they appear to like their jobs and the inside seating is modern and bright. This is my new favorite happy hour spot!.

Went with the cowboy burger and fries. Gf had chicken tacos and side of coleslaw. Wow the burger was amazing. Cooked to perfection. Fries have a good flavor. Size of burger is good. Diet coke served. Only issue GF did find a large none in her chicken taco. Server said oh tots happens quote often. WTH. So 4 stars for now

The customer service has been off and on the times that I've gone here, but I won't let that detract a star, because the truffle fries changed my life. My boyfriend ate one, then looked up at me with a serious face and said "Try one" I did and...we both began to babble about how amazing they were. The second reason I gave it five stars was because the marrow burger, while not life changing, was pretty freaking good and gave me my marrow fix.

Came here after watching a movie with the boyfriend the other night. First off, let me just say I am not a big fan of burger, but this place completely change the way I look at a burger. I love the fact that this place opens late, the servers here are very friendly, theres no wait time, and the environment is so welcoming an cozy. They have a big selections of beers. I am a sucker for anything truffle and when I saw they have truffle fries I was sold. It is much different than most places but I really like it. Definitely a good place for late dining.

Eureka is excellent and I would highly recommend it. Everything I have tried so far has been very good. The service is also very attentive and the servers all know the menu and beer list well. The only thing I would like to see them do would be to post their rotating tap list online somewhere.

Fantastic and amazing on Friday, average and awful service on Tuesday. The Osso Bucco appetizer is enough of a reason to overlook the terrible service we got the second time we came there. The beer and wine and whiskey selection are great. But I guess the service and the chef are hit and miss .

I came back to Eureka two days after my first visit (Tuesday, 4/22) for a birthday dinner with my family and the experience wasn't the best. Our food took a very long time and our server wasn't very attentive. One of the burgers got sent back by a member of my party because it was burnt, which happens, however it didn't come back out until the rest of us were finished with our burgers. Our server didn't check on us often enough and we always felt like we were having to flag her down. I will say that some beer sales got lost because people gave up and just started drinking water. For the above party, I arrived about an hour early and left about 2.5 hours afterwards with one of my whiskey drinking friends. Most of my whiskey drinking is with Japanese and Irish whiskeys & scotches, so I was excited to taste and learn about American whiskeys. I've historically found them to be too sweet, but hoped to get turn onto something. I did two sampling flights, but they felt all over the place as the bartender for the night didn't seem well versed nor educated in their whiskeys. This was very disappointing. Anyhow, the burger part and service seems like it needs improvement in consistency. As a whiskey bar, I feel Eureka fell short of the mark.

Came in here for the first time with family. The lighting was a bit dark, but I figure that's the environment they're going for. Anyways, the waitress was super cool, and the food was super good. We got some appetizers and for my entree I chose the Cowboy Burger, which I highly recommend. Prices were very reasonable too. Would come back for sure. Giving 4/5 instead of 5/5 because I didn't like the lighting too much and because the bill took a while to arrive

I did not expect much of this place since it is fairly new and the reviews were not outstanding, but i was pleasantly surprised by my experience. On a friday night, we were seated on the patio within just a few minutes. Parking lot was crowded, but they offer free valet with validation. Nachos for the appetizer were the best part of our meal! Chips were good quality and the ingredients were pretty standard, but there was a nice chipotle sauce that added an extra bite, not too spicy. I got the tortilla burger, which looked better than it tasted, kinda mushy. Boyfriend got the jalapeño burger, which he said was good, but seemed like it had sat out too long because the bun was soggy. Drinks were good, nice beer selection. Service was fair. Environment was pretty loud, more kids than expected! Overall, i will probably go back again, even if just for the nachos!

Our lunch started with delicious, crispy and greaseless Panko Crusted Onion Rings. My granddaughter ordered two, Fried Chicken Sliders (fried chicken, tomato jam, house pickles, and signature handcut fries). My wife, always the light eater, shared the Nacho Average Nachos (hand-pulled chicken, black beans, guacamole, tomatoes, cilantro, Monterey Jack, chipotle sauce and sour cream). She declined sliced jalapeños that usually come with the Nachos. I decided to get the The Original Eureka! (TM) Burger with iceberg lettuce, pickles, red onion, tomato, special sauce and signature handcut fries. It sounds great, but it was just an average burger. I also ordered a St Archer Pale Ale from San Diego. It was too bitter for me, and I didn't finish it. The service was distracted. On the plus side, we ate outside, and the weather was great.

I've been to the San Diego Eureka before and was very convinced to return when one opened up in my hometown. Their sweet potato fries is to DIE for and it comes with every burger. They sprinkle cinnamon and drizzle honey over it. It's like heaven. The best new way to eat the fries. I can't remember what burger I got in San Diego but for this trip, my friend and I got the Jalapeno and Napa, respectively. I'm such a sucker for pesto. I could bathe in it. Suffice it to say that this Napa burger did not disappoint. I think the judgment on how good a burger is usually how juicy and flavorful the meat is. I would say it that this burger passes the flavorful but not the juicy, it was a little dry. However, it was to my liking since I'm not a fan of stuff with a lot of sauce. Service started out well, however, I don't think I ever got service from her after that. Every time I needed water or something else, I would have to flag down another server. I'm very much giving her the benefit of the doubt that it's not bad service, but I understand that you have an obligation to make sure that we have water (even if we're in a drought) or check back with us at least another time at the end of the night. Even though I tend to rate about my own experience, there was also a table next to us who was seated a little after us, it was shocking to see they didn't get their entrees until my friend and I left the restaurant. It's relatively new and the servers are adjusting to the rush nights. With the quality of the burger and the friendliness of the staff, I would really rate this place 3.5 stars. But I'm normally not one to round up and it is quite obvious they need to improve upon their service as their rating is taking the hit.

I'm not a huge fan of burger places but I though this place was great. Loved their margarita - much better than Solita's (their next door neighbor). I had the fig burger and my companions had the blues burger and jalapeño egg burger. Everyone loved their food. I asked for fries well done and they accommodated me no problem. Service was great and outdoor seating had plenty of shade and was very comfy. I have to go back to try the Napa burger and honey cinnamon sweet potato fries (it's listed as a side but I think it's dessert:)

The food was amazing! But I have to drop a star because they mixed up our burgers: I ordered mine medium and my friend medium rare and mine was quite pink and his not at all. We ordered two different kinds of burgers and couldn't just swap. Also, my fries were like crumbs, most of them only an inch long. Other than that it was the best burger I've had in a very long time and I will definitely go again the next time I'm in town.

Are you people kidding me?? This place needs to have 5 stars. Ridiculous. The staff is always SUPER accommodating, the service is superb (always looking out for my antsy toddler!) atmosphere is perfect, and, of course, food and beer AMAZING! I love this place. Keep up the good work, Eureka!

  • Michael A.

Great service everyone is cool and friendly. If you like quality food and VIP service I would come to this spot. Pass on the corn dog pops. I had the nachos really refreshing from normal nachos and the chips are better than some Mexican restaurants. The Cobb salad was good in flavor a little light on the greens.

  • L L.

Excellent food. Incredible selection of bourbon! Worst service ever. It took 20 minutes to take our order. I took 30 more minutes to receive our food. On the fourth request we got the water we ordered when we first sat down. And the bill was wrong - $8 over charge. Which they fixed, but come on....Meh.

Food was great. My review is about the service. This guy who served our appetizer was not doing his job. I don't know his name..I think I saw two male servers. He was the one without glasses. I went Eureka last Saturday during lunch time. We ordered Steamers and he didnt give us any small plates nor small forks. He just walked away right after he served the food... He needs to learn how to be a better

Came here just once. Friends have been a couple times. They like it. Burgers were good. Don't upgrade for onion rings. Extra $2.50 and they only give you 3. No joke! Friend had a rip off $12 salad that she didn't take. Service was really slow. BUT they have us free dessert which was good. Also on are way out they gave my friend a $15 gift card because of the salad and slow service I guess. We didn't complain. Just said we didn't want the salad. Nachos were really good though.

my family and I enjoy eating at Eureka because they offer something for everyone, all of it has been great so far and they offer a ton of craft beers, which is my hubbs favorite. See you soon Eureka!

My husband and I have been "regulars" here pretty much since they opened. We love the menu and have been willing to try and give this new place our loyalty. I don't usually write reviews, but I feel like I have spent enough at Eureka over the last few months warrants a review. The food has been mostly outstanding, I mushroom burger is to die for for. This is not to say that the food preparation is consistent. Usually a smiling server or manager is helpful. The reason we won't go back is because of the service. They all have attitude. I hate having to flag down my server.

  • Vanessa L.

First time there and it was delicious, got the osso bucco riblets, Napa burger (Arugala, harvati, pesto, AND pancetta!) with onion rings and my friend got the marinated portobello. Extremely happy with our meals. Big selection of craft beers and Lucas was very very helpful picking out new beers for us to try! We'll def be back soon!

Horrible service. I have been to a lot of places but this place has been the worst. Had to walk up to the bar to order my drink, actually beat the 2 other people who had ordered 10 min prior to me at the table. There were only 5 in our group. Restaurant was only maybe 60% capacity. Kitchen manager probably needs to kick the servers out of kitchen because we saw ZERO servers in several periods of times... I'm thinking we should have asked for the chefs table in the kitchen because they're probably having more fun in there! Food was AWESOME but not worth it! I'd rather wait in line at the In & Out.

Tried this place a few weeks ago, the food for me is good not great, had there signature burger the fig birger with the jam. The bread was very oily and the jam was too sweet for me to be on my burger. The meat was good though. I also had the mini corn dogs which were great. And the fries were decent. The benefit to this place is the wide variety of micro beers and daily specials.

5 stars for the manager bobby!! He was awesome. I came in tonight for dinner with my husband and found a little fruit fly in my salad! No big deal I work in the food industry and know how it is. I didn't even ask for him to comp anything for me, but he comped my salad, gave me my appetizer for free, and a 25$ gift card. This was our first time here the food is amazing. Our server emerald wasn't that great. We had to tell her every time we needed a refill and she was very short. But because of bobby and his great customer service, and the food of course. We will be back!! Thank you bobby!!!

Terrible service, we waited 15 mins to be greeted by a server only because I brought it to hostess attention. The food was ok, but overpriced for the not so great quality. The beer was the best part.

The burgers here are 5 stars. I can see what the rave is all about. I ordered the Jalapeno Egg Burger with medium rare patty. My patty was cooked to the right temperature as requested. My friend got the Bison Burger, which was also delicious. The food did take awhile to come out, but I didn't mind at all because I ordered two appetizers. The pork riblets dish was okay, but the truffle fries bowl was a bit better. However, our entire dinner could have been a lot better if the service was great. I had to ask three times with three different waiters to refill my water. Service is still one star for me. Not sure if I would come back to this location, I rather go out of my way to eat at the Claremont location.

Been here various times since it opened and overall I really like it. The food is delicious, and they have great beer options. In agreement with most of the reviews, the service isn't the best, but the atmosphere I love. If you have time to spare, want good food and drinks, this is definitely a place to hang out at.

    (4)
  • Derrick K.

Atmosphere was well thought out. Everything was clean, from the cloth napkins, silverware, to the restrooms. The food was amazing, but what really made the experience, was our sever, Rhi. She was on top of it. Constantly table touching. Letting us know when drinks were coming out and when our food was coming out. She was aware of the whole floor and handled lunch professionally with excellent customer service and with a genuine smile.

Awesome place for good quality beer! Went here a few days ago with my girlfriend for a quick lunch after a movie, I have to say the food was awesome I had the steamed clams with a bottle logic double ipa. I've been to a lot of "craft beer bars" here in Huntington Beach that claim to be craft beer oriented but eureka had about 20 beers on tap and many bottles to choose from which I believe stands out from the others by far. They even serve your beer in the proper glass.

I've been here 3-4 times and love the Napa Burger so much that I've ordered it everytime. Absolutely delicious everytime! Last night my boyfriend ordered the Bone Marrow burger and he loved it (I tried it and loved it too!) great selection of drinks too. I will say we had friends that ordered the fish tacos and the chicken wings though and they weren't impressed, so I'd recommend sticking to what their known for, burgers. Also, the coleslaw isn't very good. The service has been good, except they seem to switch servers constantly, which gets a bit annoying when you've had 4 different servers in one night. Still love these burgers though.

My husband and I like to come here for lunch since it is right by my office and they have a nice outdoor patio next to a nice fountain. The California Fig turkey burger is SO good! My husband always gets the bbq burger. You can also get your burger served over a salad as well if you don' want the bun which I have done as well. If you want a "fancy" burger I highly recommend Eureka!

I've driven by this place a few times and I decided to finally try it. I went in with a few friends on a Tuesday night and it wasn't too busy so we were seated right away outside. Our server came over and convinced us to get the truffle fries as an appetizer and they were spot on! We told him it was our first time and he gave us a small rundown of the best items on the menu. I ended up getting the jalapeño egg burger which I didn't like too much, and (Jesse) our server offered to get me something else but I sucked it up and ate it. But overall the service was pretty great and my friends loved their burgers (napa and Fresno fig). I'm definitely coming back.

Love this place! Came in yesterday evening for a birthday date night with my husband. I got a little irked at first because when we came in the hostess asked if we wanted outdoor seating. We said yes if there was something available and she said she just had to wipe down the table. We moved aside so they could greet a the people behind us. They took two parties to tables inside and while waited and then another party of two came in and requested outside and they took them right away. What? So there was a table ready to go and they took a party that came in 5 minutes after us...I said aloud "what was that" and made a gesture with my hands and the hostess saw and then took us right away to another outside table. Hmph. Not quite happy about that but the rest if the experience was really good so it makes up for it. Our server was great! He was quick and attentive, he did take awhile to come take our order but it was because he was helping the bartender out so we didn't mind. I ordered a beer sampler; you get to choose 4 beers. I like that they write which beer is which on a little chalkboard in front of each beer. I liked all 4 beers I chose, delish! We started with the Truffle fries and for dinner I got the Fig Burger with a beet veggies patty and hubby got the Roma Burger, both with a side salad. Our burgers came out before our fries appetizer. Our server brought them out right after and comped them from our ticket and the manager even came by to check in us which was really nice. And it wasn't a big deal to us cause burgers and fries go together anyways. The fries were yummy and crispy, just could have used more of the havarti sauce. My Fig Burger was amazing! So so yummy! The combo of the sweet fig with the goat cheese and spicy mustard was delicious! I think this is my new favorite gourmet burger =) We ended up ordering Butterscotch Pudding too and it was subtle but yummy. Oh, almost forgot to add that they have 'Hoppy' hour on Saturdays too, awesome! We will definitely be back!

The Catalina bison burger is great and the truffle fries to die for. Also enjoyed the watermelon salad. A little loud for dinner if you're there during happy hour, but still a great place to go to.

Had party of 15 and they called and ask if patio was ok. Sure we said. It starting raining later that day and storming. They still put us on the patio where we were freezing, getting wet and they could not accomodate us inside. No common sense to not move party of 15 inside during storm. Glass of wine took 31 minutes, all food delivered cold. Wrote corporate and they didn't seem to care. Won't be going there and and recommend you don't either. There are too many great restaurants in Bella terra....recommend solita where service food is awesome.

This was our first visit to Eureka. Came in for a school fundraiser but will definitely visit again. Service was great, management made sure that our visit was memorable. I tried the sweet potato fries which were delicious with a touch of honey and cinnamon and most importantly my finicky kids ate and enjoyed the kids menu followed by root beer floats

Nice restaurant with inside and outdoor seating and TV's to watch games. I ordered the vegetarian beet burger with a side of coleslaw. The patty made out of beets is made fresh to order and served like a normal hamburger. The taste was OK and all toppings fresh, but it was served dry and no cheese. I should have added cheese and maybe that would have improved it. I did request thousand island, but it didn't really go well with the beet. In my opinion, it needs more seasoning or a sauce. It was good, but came up short on taste. It would be great if they added a portobello mushroom or garden burger to the menu. The menu did have things that sound good like Manila clams, portobello mushroom dinner and salmon. I'll have to return and try it. The service was very good.

  • Lindsey R.

We went here because solita was on a wait and really glad we did. But the service to get a beer was awful took us close to 15 minutes and our food came basically when we got our drinks. But the beer was good and the nachos were bomb. Really wanting to try a burger they look delish. Btw the server was so sweet to my son bringing out watermelon as he waited for his food. Although I probably will not be back with him because of the wait times for our drinks. FYI it wasn't busy :/

A few changes to the menu but the only thing I really miss is the vodka burger. On the other hand I'm eating more salads these days. So far everyone I've had has been great! In addition I've been in the loop for every special stout they've brought in over the last few months, fun, variety and all good. A real treat every few weeks.

I wouldn't know If the food was good because I never got to try it! I work in the Bella terra shopping center and love trying all of the new places. My husband and I were excited to try this place because of the variety of craft beer and the food sounded different. We got there at 5:45 on a Friday and were seated immediately. We sat for over 15 minutes and no one even greeted us at the table. There was another table behind us that were also very frustrated. The place was a little busy but still lots of tables empty and plenty of servers! I won't be going back

Great place to come in and grab a bite and a beer or drink. We ordered from the appetizer plates and got the osso bucco riblets, truffle fries, mini corn dogs, and tacos. Everything was fantastic and the service was excellend, we sat at the high top behind the bar and had a nice view of the patio and a band was setting up. Our server was Troy and his service was great, refilled our drinks on time, checked on our food, and even brought us a side of sauce for the fries that tasted amazing! Thanks to the wonderful service we will be back.

Good craft beer selection and enjoyed the osso bucco riblets. Love the motto of "no crap on tap" and overall commitment to good beers and good food. Happy Hour was half off wine by the glass and that selection wasn't bad either. Enjoyed my first visit.

Went to this new restaurant tonite, had a gift card so thought we'd try it out. Decor was really nice. Service was horrible....ordered French fries, two kids meals and two drinks (beer and a whiskey sour). The fries came right away, half way done with them when the drinks came. Completely done with food and drinks when the kids meals come...now 45 minutes into the meal. It's Sunday night at 8pm and the restaurant is less than half full. Server can tell we're irritated as the kids meals come out...kids are starving and bored and it's taken forever. Manager Dave comes over and offers to buy us a round of drinks, which is great and I'm ready to forget how long the quesadilla and grilled cheese took to make. Our free round doesn't come for 20 more minutes, by the time it does the kids are done with their meal and begging to leave. Declined the round and left pissed....waste of a night. I get this place is new and working out the kinks, but you can only make so many mistakes in one meal to get the customer to come back.

their food is delicious, as are their drinks. but tonight, our service was absolutely horrid. we sadly got seated behind our server's BFFs, & we've been waiting for our check ever since. she has been non-existent since she dropped off my beer an hour ago. thankfully, she was replaced by another gentleman (Lucas?)! he recommended great whiskeys for my friends sampler! such a lovely server (: we've been here before, & our service was great. hopefully they can fix this problem!

Came for the first time with my boyfriend to take a Christmas shopping break...I'm so glad we did he had the jalapeño egg burger I had the fresno fig burger and they were both delicious! It was kind of empty so we sat down immediately and the service was very quick. Our server and the manager were both very friendly, they even changed the channels on the tv so we could watch a certain game on the tv closest to us. The food like I said was really really good one of the best burgers I have had in a very long time. They were cooked perfect and seasoned really well. My boyfriend is kind of a picky eater and he said he would come back again. WE BOTH WILL..we didn't take advantage of happy hour even tho we should have (cus it seemed really great) but it was only because we still had a long day ahead of us. I'm looking forward to coming back im glad we have another great place to visit very close to home.

So far I've enjoyed a number of items on the menu. Very much enjoying the "American Craft Food". So far: Steak Salad Wrap - i had it "un-wrapped" - so good. steamed clams - supper yummy but could have been more clams in the bowl for the cost. Osso Buco Riblets - more cooked than I like (I love rare meat), but the flavor was right on. Eurkea Wings - awesome, meaty. Fresno Fig Burger - loved it. And my favorite so far are the white fish tacos. And let's not forge the great selection of craft beers. We went of 50% off glass of wine day. another great deal. Love the atmosphere of the restaurant, we enjoy sitting on the outside patio. A welcome addition to Huntington Beach.

  • Dean Y.

Food was VERY average. We got the vodka burger, corn dog pops, truffle fries, mac and cheese. Nothing was horrible. You're paying for the decorations, it's not cheap... For the money I'd rather get a burger from 25 degrees or Umami burger or even the Counter. The gourmet burger trend is getting blown out like the food truck frenzy.

This is a new place in the ever growing, over-crowded Bella Terra center. The decor is nice, great lighting with an open air front and patio. Lots of tv's for the games. The menu is mainly burgers and they are good, but the entrees don't come out as well. I am also taking points off for the limited bar stock. There is a pretty extensive craft beer selection but I question the choices the bar manager made here, but they do have Sculpin so I'm ok. There is a pretty good selection of whiskies. Whiskey and beer is the main theme of the bar, with whiskey bottles on display everywhere, but the whiskey prices are a joke (beer prices are good) and the the remaining hard liquor selection is seriously like one craft gin, tequila, etc. Still, this place is worth checking out and it is date friendly.

Ok, Eureka gets four stars because I Love their happy hour and their staff. Russ is my server almost every time I go there and he is fast and just fun to have around. The management is also always nice to me and whomever I bring with me. I am not a huge fan of the food but i cant really be the judge because I have only had their appetizers and the things i didnt like EVERYONE else seems to LOVE. My initial experience with staff was not great as the service was rude and not attentive, however, on my last visit I was told they did some reorganization of staff. Good Job!

Best thing I had were the wings which were $11 for 5. In N Out's burgers are wayyyyyy better and WAYYYYYYYY cheaper! Save yourself and go ahead and pass on this place. Even the service wasn't good... Asked for the egg on my burger to be fried over hard and it came out leaking on evwrything.

Great atmosphere and amazingly friendly service! The bartender knew everything about the beers and let us sample a bunch of them. Everyone was friendly and seemed happy to be there! Although we didn't eat here, the menu looked amazing and we will have to come back to try the food. There was plenty of parking and the belle terra area is beautiful!

One of the best burgers I've ever had and the beer list is awesome!!!!! Our server Kyle was on point and exceeded our expectations. I'm so freaking glad a joint this good opened in the Bella Terra.

We have long been fans of the Claremont location, but met my cousin here for dinner. As usual, the beer selection was excellent (with more San Diego craft beers than in Claremont), the service was great, and the ambience appealing. The only small complaint is that it was slightly hard to find.

Wow! Pearl street blues burger and truffle fries are to die for! Servers are very kind and attentive. Great for everyone- even kids! Managers are super caring and it feels sincere. What a great addition to Bella terra!

Wow, this place is GREAT! Went there on 5/31/14, it's a louder type of environment but fun. Still good for families or just to hang out with friends. Lots of TV's to watch sporting events. They craft their own beers and also have quite a selection of whiskeys and bourbons as well. I ordered the cowboy burger! This thing was killer! Cooked perfectly rare. My wife ordered the fig burger, she couldn't even finish it but did later that night. Our server Jack was super cool. He gave us so many great recommendations. His service was outstanding as well. I can't wait to go back! And best of all, it's right across the street from us!!!! Prices were perfect. Seating outside was awesome. The inside looked really nice too. We had our 6 month old Daughter with us and she slept the entire time. If you live in HB, or are just visiting, try this place, you won't regret it!

I had a bad first experience but I think it was because they had recently opened. I've been back several times since and this place is great. Good food. Good beer and selection. What else do you need?

Atmosphere is amazing! I went to Eureka burger up in Santa Barbara (unfortunately i was sick so i couldn't really taste any of the food). Fortunate to have one in Huntington Beach at Bella Terra. Just ate here with my friend. She devoured her burger and I order the Pulled pork sandwich with fries and a salad. Delicious. Sit outside if possible. They have heaters up above that keep you nice and toasty. Great place for date night or bringing a large group of friends. Picnic style seating keeps everyone close. Nicely priced, with a sandwich, salad, and beer it cost around $20. Definitely coming here again :)

I was most excited that we went opening weekend. I never get to go anywhere opening weekend. The service was fine. The waitress was nice, it was quick but also it was pretty empty when we were there. The thing about the whole meal that stood out for me most was the fact that our table was way off balance and every time I so much as touched it the darned thing would shake. I didn't want to complain because it seemed so picky but I did not get better when we got our food. The grilled chicken sandwich was good but nothing about it really stood out or made the place spectacular- now the fries were first class though. The only thing was my friend ordered onion rings which I usually love but she only got three giant-sized ones and they weren't as good to me as the smaller version. I'd go back but at this point it's more of a if I'm there and I'm hungry not really a place I'd jump at the chance to go back to yet.

Very disappointing! Service was so slow, took over an hour to be served. Food was below average with small portions. Unless you go for the drinks, I would not recommend it and won't go back,

Mellow bar (mind you I came at 11pm) but great drinks. Awesome and attentive bartenders. Eric was my bartender, he recommended great drinks for me and my fiance!!! They have delicious and proper whiskey sours & their Kentucky mules are delicious. Regardless of what time or day you come, you are guaranteed a modern and mellow experience. I will be back. Whiskey fans rejoice!!!!! That whiskey doe!!!! ;))))) 5 thumbs up 5 stars.

I have been to Eureka a couple of times now, and it's been great!! Awesome happy hour! I'm addicted to the osso bucco riblets. I've had the truffle fries, the nachos, and the bison burger, & all were fantastic! The manager David came by and chatted with us for a few minutes and really added a person touch to our visit! I'll definitely be returning to this location often!

Favorite place to eat! My boyfriend and I have been going to Eureka Burger for a couple years now. We moved down to the OC not long ago and we're happy to find out that Eureka was opening in HB. Our all time favorite is the whiskey sour, nachos, and the cowboy burger. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!

Food is AWESOME, but a bit pricy. Get the Bison Burger...soooo good. We were very disappointed in the service though. They took forever to get is our beers (how long does it take to pour a beer), then they got our orders wrong, and then they never came back to ask how things were or to ask if we wanted dessert or more drinks. They just brought our check. We would have stayed longer and ordered more drinks, but instead we paid and left.

If you are in the area(or live at Bella Terra) I highly recommend you drop by and give these guys a visit. They have a daily happy hour from 3-6 that has some great deals on food and drinks. We have been in 4-5 times and have yet to be disappointed. They have a great beer selection and even better liquor(whiskey) selection. I would suggest getting a burger, after all it is a burger place. All the other things we have tried have been good but nothing comes close to their juicy, flavor packed, generously topped burgers.

Love, love, love this place! How convenient! We are Bella Terra newbies! So awesome that we can sit in the patio with our mini poodle!!! Had the Lollipop corn dogs and Osso Buco Riblets to start with! Watermelon Salad and Flat Iron Steak for din! Wooohoooo! To top it off, Kyle was Awesome!!! Food, Service, Ambiance and wine list....can't ask for anything better! Yes! We will be back!!!

The good: the food was tasty. I had the fig burger, my husband had a burger with blue cheese & mushrooms, my son had the corn dog lollipops. We all enjoyed our meals. The bad: wow, horrible service. Horrible. We got there early on a Sat night because we have small kids. We asked to sit on the patio & requested a highchair and booster. 5 minutes later, with no one acknowledging us, I grabbed a dirty highchair from the empty table next to us. A few minutes after that, I went back to the front to request a server & a booster (again) since we were being ignored. Finally, someone took our drink order & got the ball rolling with a "kid's appetizer" (watermelon & avocado which I thought was a nice touch) so our kid wouldn't start gnawing on my arm. Food was brought out shortly after, but with no utensils so I got up (again) & grabbed a fork from an empty table inside. At this point, the family next to us chimed in & said they'd been here before & had never experienced such bad service. The parents' food hadn't arrived but by then their kids were finished with dinner. I overheard the manager (?) apologize & he comped their meal...yet, they didn't even get their burgers so that's kind if crappy. The guy was over it & looked pretty irritated. I don't blame him! The rest of the meal was fine, our server came back a few times to make sure everything was ok. The only reason they get 3 stars is because the food is pretty good. The service we received only gets 1 star. There were a ton of servers both inside & out so I'm confused as to why we had to flag someone down. I'm hoping it was just an off night, we're willing to give it another try. But based on other reviews, we're not the only ones who have experience less than stellar service. Hopefully, they can get their act together!

I love Steal the Glass Night! So much fun trying new craft beers and seeing David, Zach, Trevor, Eric (a great bartender!), and Tanner, and the beautiful young ladies like Megan, too--and having those yummy Lollipop Corn Dogs, or my favorite Pearl St. Blues burger with those amazing sweet potato fries... With the tasty food, unique craft brews, and friendliest wait staff in Huntington Beach, Eureka HB ROCKS!

Was happy that this chain was opening a location here at the beach. After my first visit it will be the last. Restaurant was half full when we showed up, party of two. Asked to eat outside by fountain. Was sat next to a table that was for six but they moved the two section off, the party of four had just been sat, there were 8 open tables but all 4 persons. Requested to be moved, manager said 4 person tables were not for two's the next people sat were a party of 2 at the table we had requested by the same manager. Same manager then interrupted our meal 3 times to ask how we were doing, one time touching my dates shoulders. Will miss the food, but not worth the poor customer service from the top to the bottom.

Tried this place out for first time last night. Good food, good drinks and great service. Our server, sadly don't remember his name, was awesome. When I was paying the bill, my elbow knocked over my full glass of champagne. Of course. A guy came up within a minute holding a broom and very funnily was like, "I'm here." He was so nice AND went and got me another drink when I said please no I'm the idiot haha. Great place

I heard about Eureka on Yelp from a friend. I was expecting another overpriced burger place. It doesn't disappoint on the overpriced burgers, but it does add a great ambience, cool bar with multiple draft beers, specialty cocktails, and very friendly staff. I had a Moscow Mule in copper cup which was fantastic. When I asked the bartender for his recommendations for food, he gave me the Catalina Bison Burger and another burger I forgot the name of, but if you ask for a recommendation from the bartender it's the two most expensive burgers on the menu...go figure? I'm not hating as I would do the same, but I would try to at least add on one reasonably priced over-priced burger into the mix. I did get the Bison Burger and my friend enjoyed a kale salad which was pretty good and almost half the cost of my burger. My Catalina Bison Burger was good, but I had expectations of a large Bison-asaurus sized burger and it came out a tad small...I had a little "anticipointment". I guess size doesn't matter for a $15 burger, it did taste great! I would def come back for a Thursday or Friday Happy Hour and see what the ambience of that may be like....hopefully filled with people looking to get their expectations met! It looks like a good place for that.

Another restaurant that has Salt and Pepper on the table for a reason. Unfortunately the manager/owners never tried to use the salt and pepper shakers because they use sea salt that barely comes out and fresh cracked pepper that barely comes out. After waiting 15 minutes to see a waitress my wife and I ordered the truffle fries, mac and cheese and the veggie burger with cole slaw (vegetarian options cool!) and a beer and a glass of wine. The beer and wine took at least 15 minutes to arrive. 1 minute later the truffle fries showed up. They looked like they had been sitting under a heat lamp for about 15 minutes. Soggy and no seasoning(like zero). Sipping on a great beer and our mac and cheese arrives about the size of a yoplait yogurt ($6.95) macaroni stuck together and "completely" bland. Does this place season their food we wonder? Four bites later add some seasoning and poof its gone. Oh cool! the veggie burger just arrived... Looks tasty but its not. Long story short we had to poor salt and pepper all over our food for it to taste better. I had little nats flying around my head while eating too. Also, if a manager/owner is actually reading this please note: the seats on the right hand side of your restaurant can see directly into the back of your kitchen when the waiters go through and it looks like a mess. Maybe put up a curtain or something so we dont have to look at your supply of togo items and people standing around. Will I be back? Probably not... But, I must say the beer selection is fantastic. Ok, I'll be back for a beer or two.

The place has great food the service on the other hand is the worst. Asked for katchup three different times once even to the manager and never revieved it until we asked the fourth person. Only one person here has a good customer service and he is waiter that when talked about to the manager the manager really had nothing to say just yeah he is a nice guy. Disappointed in service 100% but the food was good.

Truffle fries were pretty good, while everything else was pretty decent, but not worth coming back for. Selection of drinks were pretty good! Their happy hour is pretty good also, but if you aren't going to make it for happy hour, it'll get expensive. Overly expensive.

  • Cassandra M.

Love this place...want to love this place. The only drawback is the service has been beyond slow requiring you to, most times, have to ask for your order repeatedly. We keep trying here in hopes it will get better. Hint...if I'm ordering a cocktail and my first glass is finished, ask if I'd like another.

Great variety including paleo friendly options. It has a nice whiskey bar and good beer options. The atmosphere was very enjoyable, we were lucky enough to listen to live music by Solid Ray Woods. Friendly staff, probably still need a little more time to work out some kinks but overall we had a good first impression and will be back.

Stopped in for the first time and enjoyed one of their craft beers and a variety of appetizers including riblets, truffle fries, pacific white fish tacos, and lollipop corn dogs. All were outstanding. Huntington Beach is one of Eureka!'s newest locations. Fantastic decor and an open patio with a relaxing view. Will be back soon to try the famous hamburgers.

Update: received the gift card and letter signed by Zach, Mgr, telling me to ask for him personally when we arrived... Which we did - repeatedly. He finally showed after our meh food had been served. Showed no curiosity as to why we had asked for him, - repeatedly- and did not ask HOW our food or service was. ( food = chicken nachos, just ok, a bit on the greasy side. No Bueno, no return...ever

Food is ok. Service is terrible, from the minute you walk into the door until you leave. The shirt that no crap in the tap or something like that leaves a crappy taste in your mouth when you are eating. crap crap crap is all you see. Service is crap. Teach hospitality.

First time at eureka and it was extra delicious. NO CRAP ON TAP! My boyfriend had the jalapeño egg burger and I had the cowboy, they were amazing. Mac n cheese app was also very very yummy. Beer was great- the rose whiskey was even better. Our waitress was pleasant and accommodating.

Is 1 star really the least I can give? Lunch started with a 20 minute wait for a beer, which included asking about it three times. Next up was a bison burger medium rare, which came out AFTER 2 burgers that were ordered medium well. Suffice to say it was well done. After it was sent back, 5 minutes later, someone brought out a replacement, and I had to ask if he was the manager, rather than having him let us know. Turns out the replacement burger was RAW. Hope it doesn't make sick. This is one of the most poorly managed restaurants I've ever been to. I'd have to assume it's the manager's 1st day.

I'm usually a fan of places that offer unique crafty gourmet burgers but this place brought disappointment :( first off the buns....Buns!! They were not crispy and fluffy as I imagined a craft burger should be. I had the napa burger and it was too salty. The jalapeño egg burger was extremely mediocre.. The fig burger was the best out of those two because of the goat cheese but that's it. Corndog lollipops.. The breading was not crisp at all. It reminds me of the microwaved corn dog I had in grade school. Truffle Mac and cheese- Probably the weirdest Mac and cheese I've had. The truffle fries were probably the only thing that stood out to me. Rich dark Chocolate cake- extremely mediocre, any 10 year old can make this and Of course they add some garnish to make it look like it's something special. Butterscotch cake was pretty good though. And the Atmosphere? I like it but I rather go to Islands Burger.

    (3)
  • Steve S.

The food was overpriced and the service was abysmal at best. They should also post a sign out front that they hate families and children as they had nowhere for me to change my daughters diaper. Save your money and go to Islands in the same center. Better food and MUCH better service.

Just had lunch at Eureka. Service was s..l..o..w. Took 10 minutes to get drinks, manager got them, server said he'd be right with us...and he wasn't. The whole place lacked energy...from the managers to the servers. Show a little enthusiasm people. When we finally got to order...our server asked if we wanted additional sauces and we said ranch. When our meal came no ranch-manager said she'd get it.. she walked by 5 min later carrying drinks. Server finally came back by surprised that we didnt have ranch he offered. I was laughing at this point. My cowboy burger was okay. Fries were way too salty and not anything special. My lunch partner got the tortilla burger and she said it was good. Then to top it off our bill was 28.89, I put in a $20 bill and friend gave card- we asked to split bill in half.. I got $5 back but not my .56 cents...so I just included that as part of his tip. Totally disappointed, can't imagine even wanting to go back. We were originally heading towards Solitas-wish we had stuck to original plan.

First time here and we are fans. Loved the inside decor and outside is a beautiful courtyard with fountains. I guess its been a while since we were at the Bella Terra this area is all new to us. Anyway, back to Eureka! We tried the Cobb salad, kale salad with chicken and the Tortilla Burger. Cobb Salad and Kale salad were both so fresh and delicious. The Kale salad was tossed with a yummy vinaigrette that is definitely worth mentioning (I like light vinaigrette's just like this). My husband ordered the Tortilla burger and this was a first for us. A burger wrapped in a tortilla with onion, jalapenos, jack cheese, guacamole. He devoured the burger. Oh it had a chipolte sauce too. Service was friendly , helpful and efficient. The waitress told us that Tuesdays is half off wine all day and even more exciting.... happy hour is everyday of the week! That is a plus....we will definitely be back!

Best burger in town! I had the original Eureka and it was awesome! The chicken nugget kids dinner was also very good (and home made). Will get that again next time for myself! Truffle fries, onion rings, and corn dog lollipops were delicious as well! The service was very impressive. Very attentive and great with our kids. Can't wait to go back and try a few more items on their menu. The salads sound very very good...

Went to grand opening. Design was amazing. Food was excellent. Ordered the truffle fries. The marmalade fig burger was insane with the right amount of sweet and salty. Onion rings are homemade and delicious. Service was on point. They brought out watermelon and avocado snack for kids while they waited. Everything amazing. Great addition to Bella terra.

This is a good place to go hang out with friends. It has a nice dimmed atmosphere. However, I would not go here for the burgers. After the garnishes, they tasted good enough, but the burger patty was nothing special and kind of bland. The main reason I went here was for the truffle fries, but they turned out to be a disapointment as well. The truffle oil was mixed with a topping that was poured on top of the fries, making them rather mushy. A lot of people seem to enjoy it here, as the restaurant seems to be more and more crowded lately, but I probably won't be coming back for the food.

Welcome to the neighborhood, Eureka. We wanted to try something new, and we were definitely not disappointed. The bison burger was perfectly cooked. The fried chicken sliders were amazing. Why only four stars? Their dessert menu is pathetic. They need more/larger TVs. Lastly, need to have some specials or a happy hour. We definitely will be returning!!

  • Joy S.

They always have good very pleasant helpful people working and you can watch the games with food and drinks! Not a bad way to spend the day or evening. Everything I have ordered so far on different visits has been very good! Definitely will go again:)

Beer and whiskey options are great! As far as the food, I will go eat elsewhere after having a few drinks. Not enough vegan options. They have a veggie burger but it is not vegan. This never makes sense to me. Why not kill to birds with one stone and not just make it vegetarian, then you have options for both.

Not a bad new addition to Bella terra. Jalapeño burger was done well. Juicy and very well cooked. Had nachos for appetizer and well done. Had the whiskey flight as well. Recommend you also go during their happy hour.

I will start out by saying that this is only my 4th Review on Yelp. I don't usually write reviews...just too busy I guess. I NEVER complain about bad service or bad food, I just usually don't go back. However, I must make an exception today. First, I would like to say that I have been to your restaurant a few times now. The restaurant is clean and nice on the inside. The servers are nice as well. Here is my issue. Every time that I go to your restaurant there is always a problem...Not a huge problem, but something that upon leaving makes me say: "I'll probably not go back." I have a good friend who turned me on to your restaurant, and even though he doesn't get the best service, he continues to return again and again and again. So, now let me get on with it. I went to your restaurant with my friend and we met another friend there for Happy Hour. First the positive. The bartender who I believe was named Eric was EXCELLENT! Great Customer Service! Very knowledgeable in the Spirits and Beer questions we asked. We ended up ordering some drinks and appetizers. I think we spent around 70 or 80 bucks. One of the appetizers was the RIBLETS. I have had the RIBLETS a few times, but this time was odd. First, the order came out very quickly...Just too quickly, as though someone had miss ordered and the RIBLETS were being kept in a warming bin. Bottom line, the RIBLETS tasted as though they had been reheated. They just didn't taste right. I probably should have said something, but my friend who was with me and continues to return to your restaurant asked me not to. So, to make a long story short, it always seems like there is something wrong, from missed orders to wrong orders, and this time food quality etc. I really want to like your restaurant....having been in and out of the restaurant biz myself for over 20 years, I like to see Restaurants succeed. I know that it's not a perfect world and things can happen from time to time...So, take this for what it's worth.
